The Riviera is a small and cozy hotel located in the center of Paris, at the foot of Montmartre, an 8-minute walk from the Gare du Nord, where the Eurostar trains stop. East Station is a 13-minute walk away. The Sacré-Coeur Basilica is also within walking distance. Hotel Riviera is 350 meters from Anvers Metro Station (line 2) and 550 meters from Poissonnière Metro Station (line 7), making it easy for guests to explore Paris. The hotel was last renovated in 2015.More →

Although in the tour package it was declared as 3 *, in reality it is 2 * with an interference. Room Oh-oh-oh-very modest, but you can spend the night and take a shower. Pretty clean, bed linen and white towels. Russian-speaking staff works at the reception, we went everywhere without excursions, so this helped us to orient ourselves. Generally the staff is friendly. Breakfasts are also modest (tea, coffee, milk, juice, croissants, muffins, baguettes, butter, jam, breakfast cereals), but we had enough (this is again about someone without pretensions). I read a lot of reviews about the audibility in the rooms, in this hotel this is normal, you can only hear when they go out and go into the neighboring rooms, and the rest of the time there is silence. In general, the hotel did not spoil our impressions of Paris, there were many more positives !! !

But the acquaintance began with a not very good impression. Initially, our tour operator (transfer ordered in advance) brought us to another Riviera, dropped us off, not making sure that they had brought us exactly where we needed to. At the reception they helped us to call the information center responsible for us. After a 40-minute wait, the same car arrived, the driver apologized, explained that he had been given the wrong address and took us to the right place, escorting us to the reception. In our Riviera, we were given a key to a room on the 6th floor (mansard). The room has not been repaired for more than a dozen years: there is oil paint on the walls that hangs in tatters, the window does not close, there is a puddle on the floor from the window (it was raining a little), the window curtain occupies a full length (the window is right on the slope of the roof, and the room is small). not clean. After contacting the reception, Nasyr came running with a screw and pliers. He quickly wiped the puddle with paper napkins, drove a screw into the window so that there was a visibility of a closed window, plugged cracks (about a finger thick) in the window with the same napkins (and it’s December outside and the heating is turned on only at night). In general, our mood was worse than ever, but the situation cleared up the next day (the girls from our info center helped). We were moved to another floor, renovated room. it was good there. No one apologized for the inconvenience caused. Apparently, they were waiting for money from us. Another negative is that there is no hair dryer and kettle in the room, but you can safely take boiling water from titanium in the buffet in the evening. breakfast is ordinary, continental, no one looks into the mouth, they don’t count the pieces of eaten bread (unlike Pattaya). The room is cleaned, accessories are changed. the location of the hotel is very convenient, to all attractions (Notre Dame, Louvre, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides, Lafayette Gallery, etc. ) reached on foot, walking around Paris. There is internet, but we didn't use it. Now, knowing the location of the rooms in the hotel, I would probably stay there again.

The staff speaks Russian more than decently, you can talk on abstract topics. Of the shortcomings - these are not fitted doors. Everything else is pretty decent. If you want breakfast to be adequate, don't sleep until 8. I came at 7:05. Croissants, butter, yogurt, etc. are available. Didn't stay hungry. Rooms are cleaned, bed linen and towels are changed daily, toiletries are changed as needed. There is a channel in Russian. The location of the hotel is convenient in relation to the means of transportation and places of excursions. Even the Moulin Rouge is nearby. If I happen to be in Paris (a wonderful, amazing, beautiful city), I will consider the option with the Reviera as the main one, if the owner does not change.

I stayed in this hotel from 27.12. 10 to 04.01. 11 I would like to note the following: there are much more minuses in the hotel than pluses, so I'll start with what I didn't like. Very small rooms, I lived in a single room and it was really cramped for me. In the bathroom at the shower stall there was only the floor of the door, I did not bother and poured water on the floor, this is not my problem. The sink was also clogged at my request to clean it, a man at the reception named Mustafa (who, by the way, speaks Russian but apparently hides it so that they don’t bother) made a grimace of deep concern and promised to figure it out in the end, nothing happened, which is most interesting when I left rooms at the end of the stay and was waiting for a transfer in the lobby, Mustafa was approached by a woman who moved into my room and reported a blockage, I saw the same grimace of deep concern on his face and realized that, in principle, he doesn’t care))) but this is all of course trifles and who am I was in another single room of this hotel there were no such problems. A huge drawback of this hotel is its increased sound permeability, if the door slams in the next room and in any other room located on your floor, then the sound wave hits the membrane with almost no loss, which complicates the process of falling asleep, all the time I stayed, I heard a couple from the next room how they cursed and fucked watched TV. I never made it to breakfast, I have nothing to say about it. Now about the pros in my room there was normal dark wood furniture, apparently recently installed, there was also a kitchen diagonal LCD TV. The bed was changed and was clean. Pleased with a fairly close distance to the metro, two stations to choose from. The Montmartre district is within easy reach. Within a radius of 7 minutes on foot towards the center there is a good supermarket as well as wine and cheese shops. In conclusion, I would like to say that for a seven-day stay it will do. But if possible, take 3 *.

I’m shocked by the good reviews, in fact, I’ve never seen such a pigsty anywhere, it’s dirty, the sheets with drops of blood and generally horror, and you also open the window and the neighboring windows smell of incense, it’s impossible... they don’t change the bed... it’s terrible, we just left at 8 and came at 12 at night and it’s terrible, it’s not pleasant to sleep and wash too, and breakfast is generally kapets, in a room in the basement with no windows. … More ▾ I’m shocked by the good reviews, in fact, I’ve never seen such a pigsty anywhere, it’s dirty, the sheets with drops of blood and generally horror, and you also open the window and the neighboring windows smell of incense, it’s impossible... they don’t change the bed... it’s terrible, we just left at 8 and came at 12 at night and it’s terrible, it’s not pleasant to sleep and wash too, and breakfast is generally kapets, in a room in the basement with no windows... and generally dirty, breakfast from 7 to 10, and if you come at 8 there may be the last roll left, i. e. a croissant and that's it. . . and a very unpleasant look. . . in short, if someone from the reception reads this comment, my advice to you is to change the cleaners and generally buy normal linen and repaint the dining room and remove the cleaning tools covered with a white sheet from the aisles in the corridors... ))) about which you always stumble....horror... well, you can do it normally... well, in the end, otherwise Paris is beautiful, but the riviera is terrible . .

The location is good. 5 minutes walk from the metro station "Anvers". Turgot street, on which it is located, quiet; on it, in addition to the hotel itself, there are only just a post office, a car dealership, a school, and some CD store. : -) The area, however, in general, is rather malignant. : -)) Not far from Place Pigalle and in general there are many dark-skinned and all kinds of informals in the district. … More ▾ The location is good. 5 minutes walk from the metro station "Anvers". The area, however, in general, is rather malignant. : -)) Not far from Place Pigalle and in general
there are many dark-skinned and all kinds of informals in the district. But walk the streets
not scary at all, even late at night.

The rooms are shabby, the furniture is old, there is not enough space. However, the clothes are clean. Finishing
bathroom is new. On TV in Russian only Euronews.
A broken safe was found in the closet in the room. : -)

The staff is friendly, they always say hello, smile, even at the reception
understand Russian.
Cleaned up every day.
The elevator did not work for most of our stay at the hotel - and thank God, for
on the first day he creaked so that it seemed to be heard in the street. Truth,
when repaired, began to ride quietly. : -)
In the hall there is a computer with an Internet for 12 euros per hour, although a three-minute walk -
internet cafe for 1 euro. ; -)

Breakfast, of course, is still the same - kraussan, fruit salad (from a can,
of course), applesauce, corn flakes.
Well, more, there, all sorts of small packages (like those on airplanes
offer) jams and oils, tea, coffee, milk.
In principle, until lunch, some may be enough. ; -) Dark-skinned young lady,
preparing breakfast, in between clearing tables and washing dishes
(which, of course, is not enough for all the guests - you need to wash it and again
put on the tables), washes the floors in the hall. : -))))
However, there are two Champion supermarkets close to the hotel and, if not
laziness, then there you can buy any products you want in the evening.

In general, as an option for a budget overnight stay in Paris, it is quite acceptable. If you
not too demanding on comfort - you can choose this hotel.

Daily cleaning.
There is an elevator, but it works very funny and after a couple of days we had already abandoned all hope of getting to our 5th floor on it and climbed up a narrow spiral staircase. Breakfast consisted of 1 croissant, a bun, a bag of butter and jam per person. Without restrictions, you could take juice, coffee, tea, muesli and yogurt. everything is very, very economical, but if you need a bed in Paris, a normal shower and some food in the morning, you can go to this hotel.
