This hotel was offered to us as an alternative to the Victotia 2 * hotel, since the latter did not confirm availability for our dates. The hotel was chosen on the basis of the cheaper, but not far from the center, the better. This hotel fits that description perfectly.
From the pros:
- location - 9th arrondissement, the area is calm, fairly quiet and within walking distance of both Montmartre and the Champs Elysees;
- quite acceptable continental breakfasts - croissants, baguettes, yoghurts, curds, butter, jams, fruits, juices, milk, tea, coffee (delicious-custard);
- Responsive, though not particularly speaking English, staff;
- cleaning the rooms and changing towels, toiletries, taking out the trash every day;
- normal wifi even in the rooms;
- the hotel has an elevator, which was nice, especially when checking in and out, because going up and down a narrow spiral staircase would be completely inconvenient;

- there are many shops near the hotel and there is even an excellent supermarket where you can buy everything for humane euro-money;
- right next to the hotel there is a bus stop number 85, which takes you to all the main attractions and the metro station is also close;
Of the minuses:
- the whole situation in the hotel is very modest, old, dilapidated;
- very thin walls between the rooms and the corridor, strong audibility;
- the rooms are small, there are VERY small ones, and they have absolute minimalism - a bed, a table, a chair, a small niche in the wall instead of a closet, bedside shelves - and that's all;
- an unpleasant smell, sometimes - apparently someone is being poisoned, but with us no living creatures were noticed - neither in the room nor on the territory of the hotel;
- there are no air conditioners in the rooms, we were in March, it was cool, but in the summer, they say, it's hellishly hot in Paris, maybe there is general air conditioning for the entire building and that's enough.
Summary: I recommend considering this hotel to not picky and active people who come to Paris to walk around the city all day, and return to the hotel only to change clothes, wash and sleep.
