Kyriad is a chain of cheap hotels in France, all about the same plan. The main distinguishing feature is small rooms + very small bathrooms. I would call it numbers for the thin ones. The two of us are cramped, but if you are also with suitcases....I just don’t know how to fit in. Although, getting into the bathroom, you understand that everything is still more compact here - you can only fit if you are alone, and if you are not fat. A miniature shower, a miniature sink - everything is at a minimum.
The hotel is located behind the station, that is, to get to the city center, you need to go through the station building. In the evening it’s a little bit creepy there, because there are not many travelers at the station, but there are homeless people. We thought for a long time that we could return to the hotel by bus and not risk it, but we dared and went. Thank God, we were lucky and everything went without incident.
In general, the room cost us 50 euros, which was the average price for 3 *. But if we go to Lyon again, I will choose a hotel closer to the central part, in front of the station.
