The mini-hotel is located opposite the ocher quarry, in front of the villa there is only a swimming pool, green area and an unreal view of the terracotta quarry. The city of Roussillon itself is located above the villa, the hotel is in seclusion. You can find the hotel by following the signs, which is convenient (our jeepies did not know this address).
We arrived around 5 pm, left the car in the yard near the villa. As soon as we arrived, the incredibly hospitable hostess of the villa came out to us. Having met, she took us to the house, on the 2nd floor, to show our room.
The room is amazing! Photos on the Internet do not convey the atmosphere in it at all. I'll try to describe: expensive materials, wooden beams on the ceiling, a huge bed with pillows and a soft bedspread, a lovely couch, a huge chair-throne near the picture with the landscape of Provence. . .
Separately, a few words about the bathroom: 2 wash basins, a bathtub, a window, 4 towels per person, 2 lovely rugs, fresh flowers, excellent cosmetics (soap, shower gel, shampoo), incense sticks in the toilet.
The hotel focuses on the little things. Decorative elements are selected with great taste and create an atmosphere of comfort.
The view from the window is amazing!
In the morning breakfast was waiting for us on the terrace of the 1st floor, all with the same magnificent view. Breakfast is not very heavy, it was more elegant and French: warm croissants, muffins, bread, butter, jams, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea. All this was served on magnificent dishes, and the table was decorated with vases with fresh flowers. The hostess turned on classical music for us so that we could enjoy the breakfast atmosphere to the end.
In the villa, as well as around it, an atmosphere of calm and harmony reigns. And at the same time, a swimming pool, a pair of children's swings, a basketball hoop and a green lawn are perfect for a family with children.
