General information and tips
Disney Park in Paris is much closer to our children than the overseas neighbor. But going there unprepared is a ruined vacation. Of course, there will be happy moments. But how many disappointments there will be that they didn’t see this, they weren’t here, but they overpaid here. Therefore, I recommend packing a parachute for a jump to everyone personally!
The territory itself consists of 4 oases. This is the Disney Park itself, the Disney Studio, the Disney Village and a piece of land with hotels. The first 3 oases are separated from the hotels and the RER A station by a common gate, behind which your bags will be inspected by brave guards.
You can't bring food with you! But, if you put a bottle of water and a couple of bananas or a bun, then your bag will not be shaken out with a prelude shame, but I would leave the trays with chicken and sausage at home. Let's go over food.
Depending on which ticket you purchased for 1 park or 2 parks (Park + Studio) together, you can either go one time or run from the studio to the park back and forth. Although this is not an easy task, given the large area of u200bu200bthe structures. You can walk freely into the village. There are gaming halls, cafes and everyone's favorite McDonald's.
The park is usually open from 10.00 to 20.30, and on Saturdays from 9.00 to 22.00. Studio from 10.00 to 18.00, and on Saturdays from 9.00 to 19.00. But this is in the warm season. In winter it may be different.
In addition to the usual attractions, parades are held in both parks, which remain the most vivid impressions in the memories of children.
Usually, the Studio hosts a parade of fairy-tale heroes in cars at 13:45. The Park hosts a grand parade at 17:00 and the main evening show before closing. You simply must see him. Although it is with a children's theme, my wife and I watched it with our mouths open no narrower than our daughter's.
Disney has it all.
There are also strollers for rent and raincoats for 9/7 euros will be offered to you in case of rain. Look for them in all the souvenir shops, which are more than the rides themselves.
Now for nutrition.
There are many frightening stories on the net about the fact that you go hungry, or pay for everything in large bills.
I agree, food here is not cheap, but there are always options. Meals in the park are divided into 3 categories: with waiters - for majors, buffets with Swedish tables around 30 euros per nose and fast foods. We settled on fast food places and stayed for more or less 2 days.
Everywhere there is a menu that costs from 11 to 14 euros. In the spirit of McDonald's or Burger King. But the menu is different, as well as the cafe. Pizzeria Bella Notte, which we liked, offered us 2 menus for 3 and everyone was happy, but the Disney Blockbuster Cafe in the Studio stuffed ordinary Lays chips instead of french fries, which is too bad for eating.
Fast food restaurants have on average 3 different types of cuisine: pizza-oriented, chicken-oriented, and Lays chips : (.
The same menu as Bella Notte has in Colonel Pizza Outpost in
Adventurland, but the territory is already very pretty.
Vodicka is sold everywhere (like coffee) for 3 euros per 0.5l copy.
There is a McDonald's in Disney Village where the prices are much nicer. A children's set is 4 euros, and an adult is somewhere around 6-7. After the park closed, the whole crowd rushed there and we stood there for about 40 minutes in line. Although the mobility of their workers can not be compared with ours. Ours would have managed with their "Free cash desk" for 15!
Prozhvinuty British recommend stocking up on croissants from breakfast at the hotel. But this is somehow unethical, and 2 sweet bagels are unlikely to solve the issue of hunger. There were tips for stocking groceries at the gas station right outside the Santa Fe hotel. Yes and no. There is inexpensive water, cookies, chocolates and batteries (! ). But cold sandwiches for 4 euros are not a way out.
Here are 2 very useful sites.
disneyland paris. isango. com - here you can buy discounted tickets to the park.
com - and here is almost all the necessary information for traveling.
And don't forget to download the free brochure from the official website.
Yes, in front of the entrance gate to the Park or Studio, be sure to take the schedule of shows and events. They are released every week and presented in many languages. There you will also find a map of attractions.
p. s. Where available (see brochure tips) use fast passes. This is already available even in many supermarkets in Russia : ). I put my ticket into the machine, and you get a ticket from there with the specified time. I turned a couple of laps and a separate express queue with this ticket for the attraction. Fun and delicious!
