I traveled with two children aged 15 and 6. We got from the airport by Disneyland bus (18 euros - adults and 15 euros - children's ticket) Then everyone was dropped off at the Marne la valle station and a free bus to the hotel (stop number 54, it takes about 10 minutes . .
Location. I wondered for a long time with the choice of hotel because of the location, since the Internet does not quite accurately describe where which hotel is located. Everything turned out to be simple: four hotels stand side by side from left to right: Explopers Disnayland Paris, Dream Castle, Magic Circus, Kyriad Disnayland. One bus runs through them, to Disneyland and back. I think it's impossible to walk.
Check-in was fast. (Maybe because we arrived at almost 15.00) They gave a family room: a double bed and a bunk bed for children. The room is spacious, there is a kettle in the room, tea, sazar, coffee, cream, disposable glasses.
The hotel offers breakfast and dinner only. fee. That is, during the day you need to go to Disney Village. There are many different establishments: restaurants and fast food. The bus to Disneyland is free and runs every 20 minutes so no problem.
The territory of the hotel is large (mostly all behind the hotel) What is shown in the photographs is everywhere (lake, forest, etc. - this is the rear view of the hotel). Really beautiful, you can take a walk, see huge fish in the lake, and also visit neighboring hotels. Our hotel did not have a playground, so we went to two neighboring ones.
As in ours, and in neighboring hotels, all sorts of games, carousels, video games, somewhere around 2 euros - a token, we have 20 euros - 15 tokens.
Disneyland tickets are sold directly at the reception, one day one park 53 euros for adults, 45 euros for children. And then a bunch of different offers, such as 2 parks 2.3, 4 days, etc.
We bought 1 day one park. because they decided that it was not easy to go around two parks in 1 day (and they did it right). First we visited Walt Disney Studio, it is open until 19.00. Just by this time, we went around him all, and our youngest began to say that he had no strength. On the second day, we went to Disnayland Paris, in about seven hours we walked around Fantasyland (part of the park for children), and my elder visited the rest of the territory without us, but she managed everything before closing at 23.00.
About the hotel. Breakfast on time, you choose the time and they give you a card (for example, from 9.00 to 9.20). The parks were open from 10:00, so that suited us just fine. You choose whichever is convenient for you. From 7.00 to 10.30. Probably the only negative of the hotel - unwashed dishes. But you can rinse it with boiling water in a coffee machine and wipe it with a napkin. And perhaps, I did not have enough for breakfast - scrambled eggs or omelets and sausages. Everything else was in stock, you won't go hungry for sure.
Of all four neighboring hotels, only ours did not have a pool. In the nearby Magic Circus, children were allowed in with a passport and accompanied by adults. Dream Castle doesn't care who comes to Explorers either. There is the coolest pool (nicely decorated and with two slides).
In principle, we had a good hotel, value for money, kind staff, they speak English (besides French). But my kids liked Explorers better as it has a pool, kids playroom, ping pong. Although (to be honest) he looks older and scarier...
