I want to describe my delight at the Le Douchka hotel. Just got back from there with my daughter. This 3-star hotel is located in Avoriaz, a French ski resort. The area borders on Switzerland, so if you want you can cross the border. We love excursions, so we went to Lake Geneva, spent only an hour on the road one way.

I want to describe my delight at the Le Douchka hotel. Just got back from there with my daughter. This 3-star hotel is located in Avoriaz, a French ski resort. The area borders on Switzerland, so if you want you can cross the border. We love excursions, so we went to Lake Geneva, spent only an hour on the road one way. The trip was organized by a tour guide from a thuja tour operator at an additional cost. The hotel is cozy and clean. My girl is already an adult, but in general the rooms provide sets for children under the age of two years: a crib, a high chair, a bath, a stroller. Agree, for a mid-level hotel - very prudent.

We traveled with a child (7 years old). At first we wanted to leave him with his grandmothers, because they were afraid that there would be nothing special to do there, and we would not rest as we could together with my husband. Then they never regretted it, because this resort still pays a lot of attention to families with children.

We decided since we don’t have much snow this year, we’ll go skiing somewhere. Friends advised me to contact TUI. Here we were recommended this hotel and the price is pleasant and the conditions are worthy. The room was beautiful and clean, though not big at all, but we only came there to sleep, so everything suited us.

The room was beautiful and clean, though not big at all, but we only came there to sleep, so everything suited us. There was also a kitchen in the room, but we didn’t cook anything except tea and coffee on it, we ate in cafes and restaurants of which there are a lot here, the prices are quite adequate. The ski lifts are not far at all, they didn’t bring skis with them, they rented them there. The instructors are good, our child was trained well in one day. Maybe she's the one with the talent though. Near the hotel there are a lot of different shops and cafes.

For the New Year holidays, we decided with friends to buy a tour to TUI and visit the town of Avoriaz. We stayed at the residence Le Douchka 3 * for a week (from 24 to 29.12. 13) and were simply amazed at how developed the sports infrastructure is here. In addition to having door-to-door skiing access, we had a lot of skating on the professional circuit, walking to Lake Geneva, having fun on the climbing wall, and even being in the hot tub.

In general, rested, of course, to the glory! In the morning, by the way, we had breakfast with fresh pastries, which can be ordered at the reception. In the evening we had karaoke. What was very important to us, and therefore the Unitours travel agency advised us exactly these inexpensive apartments - a balcony and a ski storage room. Having a balcony in a ski resort is just great, you wake up, and around you there is snow, snow and mountains, beauty! And since Since we traveled with our own skis, a storage room was also necessary. Another good thing is that there is a children's room.
