And not with children!

The hotel corresponds to two stars. We got a room on the 2nd floor, corner room. Relatively clean - they make the bed every day, vacuum (carpet on the floor) and take out the trash every day. But the cleaning is superficial - if you look into the lamps, which are located very low (at head level) - a huge layer of dust on the bulbs. There are dirty curtains on the windows (both light and dense), it was even disgusting to sleep next to them, I was afraid to touch them - I had to in the evening move them away from you. In the shower, when you are inside and close the plastic door - black fungus in places. There was no door to the shower room. But we never saw any insects. The room was quiet, though we slept like the dead. Nice LCD TV from LG. Their sockets turned out to be a problem - they have a metal rod everywhere (for grounding? ) Thank God, the boiler plug, which we prudently took with us, came up. By the way, if someone cannot fall asleep without drinking tea, be sure to take a kettle or something like that, because. they have neither boiling water nor a kettle anywhere.
In principle, you can live in a hotel. Maybe if we go again, we will stop there. The main thing is that it’s really not very far from the Opera Garnier, where all our excursions began - we walked at a fast pace in 20-25 minutes (when we finally remembered the road).
By the way, in order to save money, we sometimes bought from them at the Monoprix supermarket and had dinner in the room. We were quite full: we took slices of sausage (2 euros), ham (2-2.5 euros), cheese (about 2 euros), as well as bread (1-1.5 euros), ready-made shrimp (about 3 euros). Everything is not very expensive, it comes out much cheaper than eating together in a cafe. They also bought wine there: for 4-5 euros you can get an inexpensive Bordeaux, but quite decent. (By the way, in the afternoon in a cafe, 0.3 liters of wine will cost no less than 3.7 euros. Whoever is in Paris for the first time - try a drink in a cafe - "Kir", we really liked it, this is a dry red wine with blackcurrant liqueur and spices. I also recommend that those with a sweet tooth try for dessert "Creme brulee" - I found out what it should really be !! !

Booked in advance. We arrived at night. That's the only reason we stayed there. It's only good on the outside. Dirt not only in the room, but throughout the hotel has not been washed since the reign of Bonaparte. You ride in a tiny elevator with one thought - just not to touch the sticky walls. But there are no options at all to go up narrow steep stairs, since the light turns on and off with the help of motion sensors, apparently installed during the construction of the hotel in the century before last. … More ▾ Booked in advance. You ride in a tiny elevator with one thought - just not to touch the sticky walls. But there are no options at all to go up narrow steep stairs, since the light turns on and off with the help of motion sensors, apparently installed during the construction of the hotel in the century before last. In the photos of the hotel lobby, the proposals have red leather sofas as bait. Don't lie, there are sofas. Judging by the size of the holes, they were looking for treasures hidden from the Russians in 1812. On the door to our room there was a hole with a diameter of 20 centimeters - apparently the previous tenant closed it from his foot in gratitude for the good service. With a scandal, they managed to replace bed linen after previous guests. The guy at the counter abruptly stopped understanding English. The door to the coupe type bathroom is on the floor. I put it to the opening when using the toilet or bathroom. In the basement, where breakfast is declared, there is little space, to put it mildly. . I haven't seen the rats mentioned in other reviews, but I believe with all my heart that they are there. Holes in the walls would allow a rather big crocodile to wander in here, if they were found here. Although, I would not be surprised, because the behavior and appearance of the staff gave the perfect impression that we were somewhere in central Africa. Apparently, in order not to spoil the illusion of being on the black continent, tensions have been created with food supplies. To say that the breakfast is continental is an understatement. It looks like the products are sent to the continent to the white gentleman - the owner of the hotel. The good location declared as a plus for the hotel is also slightly exaggerated: next to the Opera is 15-20 minutes on foot.

However, everyone speaks only their own language, cleaned daily. The rooms, of course, are tiny, but we walked around Paris all day long and only returned at 23:00. The main thing is a clean bed, shower and not noisy at all. A TV or a refrigerator, I think, is not the main thing on a trip to Paris!

I personally liked the rest very much (not counting the hotel). The hotel is not bad, it cannot be called good. The room is a bit dark, small and we didn't have 1 socket, we had to boil the kettle in the corridor until no one was there. Breakfast is the same. Cleaned up every day. We really liked the excursions, we just got a good guide, his name was Boris, he tells us very interestingly. … More ▾ I personally liked the rest very much (not counting the hotel). I want to say that in Paris it is cleaner than in Moscow, homeless big dogs do not run around the streets, but homeless people sit on the streets and ask for money, for pity they choose small dogs and keep themselves on a leash. What else can be said about the hotel: there are no refrigerators, the hall is not very large, with torn furniture, but we practically did not sit there, but were on excursions, there are many cafes, restaurants and shops near the hotel, they are normal. I liked the rest.

Around the abundance of cafes-restaurants, with food there are no problems. Nearby in 15 meters, a small cheap shop (wine, beer, food, ). Near Galeries Lafayette (shopping, brands). Moulin Rouge - 15 min walk. St Lazare train station 5 minutes walk. The hotel is for those who are not tied to a room, but walk all day and only come to the room to spend the night. The staff is friendly. The weather in May is different, but the evenings are cool. You need to have - jumper, windbreaker, comfortable shoes. If you are going for a week, then I do not advise you to go on long-distance excursions (Loire, Normandy, etc. ). And the most important thing!! ! Any of your walks will be unforgettable if Ivan Ivanovich Fedin is your guide!! ! We found on the Internet a bunch of thanks from tourists to this wonderful person! A person has a gift from God!! ! Thank you, Ivan Ivanovich! for stories about Dali, Dalida, Marais, Chanel, De Gaulle! Your love for this wonderful city was passed on to us!! ! Gentlemen, ask your representatives to have at least one excursion with I. I. Fedin !! ! Erudite, actor, intellectual and just a talented person! Thank you, Ivan Ivanovich again!! ! P. S. We found a video with Fedin - http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=AuGNRyDqoQE&feature=player_embedded

Batteries ran out in front of the Mona Lisa portrait, We walked to the hotel, changed, returned and wandered around the Louvre. Tickets are valid all day long. We didn't use transport once in a week. The food is normal - delicious coffee and juice, always a hot croissant, a small baguette, jam, puree, cereal, egg, milk. In general, not bad. The room is cleaned every day, towels are changed. Everything corresponds to 2 *. We went around the center of Paris on foot. She (because Paris-she) conquered gradually (after London). But we already miss it and want to return, because. made friends with her and left something to see! To all their own PARIS!! !

Friendly staff (suggested us the route and streets). There is an elevator, which is very important! Convenient LOCATION: 10 meters to the metro, 5 minutes to the Opera. Nearby are grocery convenience stores, cafes, pharmacies, shoe and clothing stores, souvenirs. ROOM: cleaned every day. Changed towels, bed linen and soap. All things were safe. The windows overlooked the street, the view is wonderful, and most importantly not noisy. The room itself is small, but people come to Paris - to watch the city, and not to sit in a hotel... that was enough for us! FOOD: for breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, two types of cereal, croissant, bun, butter, jam, applesauce), it is impossible to stay hungry! My husband and I walked around Paris on our own, we didn’t take excursions, we figured it out in the metro. At the hotel at the reception, take - a card and discount coupons for the Fragonard Perfume Museum and the Lafayette Gallery. We ourselves went to Disneyland and Versailles, as time is limited on excursions, and we were as long as we want! Were very satisfied! Paris is a wonderful city! If you have questions, write and I will answer.

I booked the hotel at the last moment, so I had to agree to what it was. The hotel fully meets two stars. The rooms are clean, shabby old furniture did not bother, but on the contrary even gave a special charm. (Although I had such a loving mood, it is unlikely that something could spoil it. ) I was worried, because I read reviews about uncomfortable narrow beds that move apart, I toss and turn until I fall asleep. … More ▾ I booked the hotel at the last moment, so I had to agree to what it was. But I was lucky in this regard, the room was with a large bed, the bed linen was fresh. Plumbing serviceable, towels changed every day, staff helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Paris was greeted with sunshine.
