1) There is practically no Internet connection in the rooms and at the pool. We went to the reception desk, he works there.
2) We went to a restaurant along A Ia Kard. That was tough. We couldn't chew the beef medallions - they were hardening. Chicken kebab is dry and tasteless. Same
dry lula - kebab and fried squid. In total, four shrimp ate. In short - don't go there, better eat in the dining room.
3) there are no corals in the sea. but this does not depend on the hotel. They compensated by going on excursions.
Ah, in general. had a great rest. THANK YOU!!!! !
Initially, we arrived for 3 nights, to take a break from noisy Cairo, but we like everything so much that we are extending our stay at this hotel for the third time))
From the good points:
The hotel was renovated in March of this year. Large beautiful rooms, good plumbing, new furniture. Beautiful view from the window to the well-groomed territory.
I liked the pools, there are 3 days of swimming here. 1 child 40 cm and 2 adults 120 cm.
There are comfortable wooden sunbeds on the beach, near them there are screens that protect from the sun from the side.
The staff is friendly, especially the waiters and animators.
Was surprised by the alcohol. Good Heineken glass beer. The bars make delicious cocktails.
Of the minuses:
We arrived at the hotel at 7 o'clock in the morning, settled us at 1430, everything seemed to be according to the rules, but in other hotels we were settled much earlier, we had to wait a maximum of 2 hours.
We got at the reception to such a person as Omar, a very unpleasant person. It is impossible to agree with him, as if he tortured us for 7 hours on purpose. We talked with other people at the hotel, many of them have similar stories connected with Omar. There are no questions for the other guys at the reception. It left an unpleasant aftertaste.
All standard rooms have air conditioning above the bed. It blows directly on the bed, as soon as I did not twist and close the curtains, it did not help. The staff threw up their hands. The air conditioner blows very strongly even at the lowest speed.
In the bungalow, the air conditioner is already located correctly and does not blow on the bed.
Didn't like the food. Same. The grill is always burnt. Only lula kebab is delicious.
From seafood, fish, sometimes squid, a fish restaurant opens 2 times a week, where you can try shrimp, but the line is always huge. There are few fruits, grapes, apples, pears, oranges, melons, sometimes bananas appeared.
If you take a bungalow, be prepared that huge ants, one and a half centimeters in size, can live in your toilet.
The staff quickly poisoned them, but the smell of the product remained for several days in the bathroom.
The biggest negative for me was the sea. Pontoon about 500 meters. You go down to the sea, and there is a depth of one and a half meters and sand. If you need depth and corals with fish, then this hotel is definitely not for you! There is no such thing here!
The staff responds to requests for a very long time from 3-5 times or does not respond at all. If you run out of toilet paper, then be prepared to go to the reception for it.
We are newlyweds, the tour operator indicated this fact and we took a copy of the certificate with us to show at the reception. The hotel website indicated that for newlyweds, congratulations, either a room is better, or a fruit basket and something else.
We arrived, they said at the reception that they were newlyweds. Our words were ignored. They gave me the keys and sent me. We ourselves went to look for the number, no one showed us. They came, and the room was a complete disappointment, well, definitely not for newlyweds. The bed is connected from two, windows to the construction site.
Come on, change.
The lock on the door always squeaked for a minute or more, did not open, they promised to fix it, but they did not fix it.
19.06 we are after a night tour, tired and want to sleep, but they come to us and say that we are moving out. They showed some papers and claimed that we were being evicted. At the reception, they found out that it was their mistake and then brought 2 bananas, 2 apples and a liter of Pepsi as an apology.
On 20.06 we had a wedding photo shoot scheduled. We came at 10 in the morning to ask for a small car to the room by 15.30 (FOR 5 AND A HALF HOURS), so that in a wedding dress they would take it to the barrier (it took a long time to go from the room through the entire hotel and did not want to go through the pools, restaurants and reception). We were told to call 5-10 minutes before leaving. As a result, they never arrived at our place, they called the reception 2 times. Wait 15 minutes once, then a second time. And people were already waiting for us. As a result, we freaked out and went on foot. Because our money and time were running out (it gets dark early there and it is very important for a photo session).
Thus: we, as newlyweds, were not congratulated, the work of the reception leaves much to be desired.
There are no complaints about the other staff, as well as the hotel itself. The hotel is new, clean and well maintained.
Sandy beach, but shallow. There are no slides. Towels are given out on cards only in one place, at the very beginning.
We won't go to this hotel again.
The food is monotonous, but tasty. Almost every evening there were fried shrimp or squid.
Not pleasantly surprised by the staff at the reception. Upon arrival at the hotel in the heat, they gave us a key and indicated with a hand where to go and check in. The territory is large, the building is 3 storey, there are signs, but finding the number on your own was a challenge. We found it, we go in, and there is a view of the wall. Despite the fact that the hotel was 40% full, they specifically gave this room, as it turned out, we were not the only ones who got a room with a similar view, who did not give money right away at the reception. Then we waited for 40 minutes for our luggage, we had to go back to the administrator for it and then wait again.
The average staff is quite intrusive, brought our suitcases and says "give me a big chocolate bar. " In principle, swans were made for a chocolate bar, which was pleasing to the eye)
Bartenders are on their own wave, they do not always see the client in front of their noses and severely ignore them. Girls and guys animators, pleasant, sociable.
There are many pools on the territory, it's nice to say that there was no smell of bleach and the water was excellent.
Next is the beach: full of sunbeds and umbrellas, there are trash cans everywhere, a bar is open, in general, everything is fine.
The sea: and this is the most important)) it simply does not exist) there is no coral reef and do not hope! Even dead! The sea left in the morning - instead of the sea there was land, and then water up to the bones and in the middle of the lower leg 100 meters, then the sea was waist-deep and this is the maximum. And in the afternoon the sea returned and then near the shore it was 100 meters knee-deep, and then chest-deep or not a tall person up to the neck. But the bottom was always felt. The sea itself is clean, transparent, some small fish swim, but these are not the ones near the corals. Coral shoes can not be taken, the bottom is clean sand and algae.
There is a pontoon, the deepest place where you dive from it is up to your chest.
If you are with young children then not so bad, you can splash around, but if you go to Sharm for its underwater views, then this is not the right hotel.
There is not a big market near the hotel, at most 10 points, nothing special is for sale, the sellers are rude and dull. But there are two pharmacies, one of which is state-owned.
The hotel has not bad animation and disco until 12 o'clock.
It's a long way to go to the old town.
I was very surprised and upset by the resourcefulness of the hotel guide and the Anex company. At the meeting, the guide does not say anything about the case, except for talking about excursions, they even began to sell once free excursions to shop tours, adding to them a low-quality fish restaurant. That is, tourists in the very heat of 42 degrees baked in the sun first to take a picture near the "peace to the whole world" ball, then an oil shop, a perfume shop, a primitive souvenir shop, then a dilapidated amusement park where nothing worked and there was nowhere to sit and then Aliluya ! , a cafe with soup made from squid pieces and 5 shrimp garnished with cucumber and parsley +0.5 of water. That's all for $15. Don't get fooled!
To sum up, I liked the hotel, but not the sea. Probably wouldn't go back there again. Better a slightly outdated number than wallowing in a puddle instead of the sea.
Check out in the morning without breakfast, although the guide promised otherwise and at the reception they said that the guide had not ordered in advance from Anex Tour. Funny) 40 people, many with small children from the bus, were left hungry at the end of the morning. In hotels of a class below this is not allowed. So stock up on dinner yourself! On the trail. morning if early departure. Picked up from the hotel 4 hours before departure at 3.50 am, although it could have been much later. No one woke up, although again the guide from Anex said otherwise.
Conclusion: the hotel is good, but as you can see there are flaws, especially when leaving. I did not like the situation when leaving!
The disadvantage for us is the sea near the hotel... shallow, nowhere to swim, there is a pontoon and they are still building it, but it’s a long way to go along the pontoon and it’s still shallow for my husband (he’s tall).
The food is worse than it was in the Palace, but maybe it's because of the quarantine.
The first days were shrimp. Chicks who have been there since the opening say that while there were not many people there were shrimp and squid every day.
They gave me strawberries.
There was always guava, apples, orange, grapefruit and melon for breakfast.
Breakfasts are monotonous - pancakes, nutella, scrambled eggs, salad, oatmeal, cereal.
Lunch is weak, but for lunch there was always a grill, unlike dinner.
Dinner is excellent - several types of meat, pasta, salads, desserts, soups.
In short, the choice is small and not very rich, but really everything is delicious.
I didn’t like just that a lot of things didn’t work yet, like if they had already opened, warn them - there was no soul on the beach, consider there was no pontoon, there was no warm pool, there was no children’s room - although everything is in the description of the hotel.
The fact that everything is clean and they really ennoble it all every day is a real plus for which you need to go now. While money is not simply pumped from it, but something is being done, by the way, new buildings were built nearby, grass was planted.
Territory well-groomed.
All is well in terms of food.
The swimming area is fenced and small.
Animation is slowly gaining momentum.
In a couple of weeks, according to the feeling of tourists, when the hotel is full, it will be generally super!
Buffet food, Wi-Fi in the rooms.
