We were very pleased with our choice of hotel!
I WANT TO EXPRESS A BIG HUMAN THANKS TO ALL THE HOTEL STAFF WHO MADE OUR HOLIDAY UNFORGETTABLE, AND IN PARTICULAR SPECIAL THANKS TO KAPILA AJANTHA, INDIGO, NISSANKA, SUDARSANI, CRYSTAL!!!
What I liked about the hotel:
1) Very beautiful, well-groomed, green, clean and thoughtful area.
2) Clean comfortable rooms. Our room was very nice, spacious and clean. The bed is good, comfortable, the bed is clean, changed every day. White towels. The air conditioning worked very well (3 modes, touch control near the bed!!! ! For a more comfortable stay), the safe in the room and the plumbing worked properly!! ! Room cleaning was carried out daily and very high quality, for which I am very grateful to the guys who cleaned our room!!!
3) We were very satisfied with the work of the waiters in the restaurant and bars, who work quickly, clearly, and harmoniously. The guys are trying very hard, it is felt that they value their workplace, they do their work efficiently and quickly, they are attentive to the requests of the guests. Dirty dishes are never piled up on the tables. Tea and coffee are served to guests. The restaurant, and throughout the territory is always very clean!!!!!!!!
Chefs, chief kitchen managers are daily present from beginning to end during breakfast and dinner, carefully observe what is happening in the hall, make sure that food is always replenished, clean dishes and, if necessary, they immediately connect to eliminate one or another problems!!! ! And, most importantly, you can always contact them! and you will definitely be heard and your adequate wishes will be fulfilled!!
4) The food is very, very tasty! They took breakfast and dinner. Great selection of food for all tastes! Pastries and ice cream - THE BEST!!!
5) On Mondays, dinner was held outdoors with live music.
6) Internet. Free good quality WIFI internet throughout the hotel.
7) I was also satisfied with the work of managers at the reception. Quite tactful and polite.
8) AURVEDA&SPA - I received a 2-hour Ayurvedic massage with my sister for 9 days and were very satisfied with the quality, qualified approach and noticeably improved well-being from the treatment received.
In the SPA center under the guidance of a highly qualified doctor Dr. Chandvani has a friendly microclimate filled with love and care for guests. Doctor Chandvani conducted qualified pulse diagnostics and gave recommendations for improving health. Every day she asked about the state of health and was interested in whether we were satisfied with the quality of the services received. In the course of treatment, if necessary, changed the treatment.
This is not the first time I receive Ayurvedic treatment, both in Sri Lanka and in India (Kerala), so I have an idea about diagnosis and treatment.
I received a massage from a massage therapist named Jeewanta, who worked in Germany for several years. I was very pleased with the result, because received both physical and psychological treatment, as well as a lot of positive and professional recommendations for further treatment at home in Kazakhstan.
The sister received treatment from the responsible and friendly Indrani, thanks to her conscientious work, her health improved significantly after the third session. My sister came to Sri Lanka specifically for treatment.
Having completed our course of treatment, we express our deep gratitude for our restored health, for the comfort provided, for the warm and kind attitude of the SPA center team and wish all the best to all employees: Dr. Chandvani, Jeewanta, Indrani, Suraj, Deepa, Sumali, Jhilakshi!!!!!
Cons: Dirty beach. Until one girl - a guest cut her leg with glass, no one had the idea to clean the beach!!!
However, this does not detract from the merits of the hotel itself and the staff!!
I am writing a review and I clearly know that I will definitely come to this hotel again.
See you soon THE EDEN RESORT&SPA!!!!!
WELFARE AND PROSPERITY!!!!
I recommend the hotel!! !
there is no entertainment - for someone a minus, for me there is none. we had many excursions, in our free time we just wanted to be by the ocean or sit in a bar with a glass of wine.
the country is unique in everything... they try to breed at every turn, but knowing this in advance, you just need to be on your guard.
Do not buy anything from spice gardens. Firstly, it is not worth it, in any local pharmacy you can find it many times cheaper, and secondly, all this is aimed at tourism, more precisely at scamming a tourist for money. Those miraculous remedies, in fact, are not such, whatever it may be. If you really want to buy something there as a keepsake, buy a really set of spices, and that's it. Oils, hair products, against hair, for weight loss, potency, etc. are all a waste of money.
Tours should be taken from professionals. Even more expensive. But it is safe and the translator at least somehow more or less speaks Russian. Once we were tempted to take a tour from a local bailiff. He took us, showed us everything, but we did not understand a word of what he said, and he drove us mainly to where it was profitable for him to receive interest.
Buy stones only in shops at the hotel. To be honest, I wouldn't buy there either. Sri Lankans do not have a very good product design, and there is a high probability of getting a fake or just a dirty stone, which is significantly inferior to the declared price. . .
From the good: The hotel is super. Everything is wonderful there. Quiet, beautiful, spacious. Security, cleaning, food. I did not count on such a service from the Sri Lankans, and was pleasantly surprised.
The country is incomprehensible and unique. Definitely worth visiting several excursions, even the most tiring ones. Memories for a lifetime. Free time is better spent relaxing by the ocean. The ocean is not the sea. It has some kind of magnetic force and energy. Near the sea, I did not feel this. I advise everyone
The hotel is designed for "over 60" and about 70% of vacationers are. There are many Russian speakers and what is most (as for me) terrible is the menu translated into Russian in local "cafes".
1. check-in - standard: drink, passports, key.
2. I didn’t like the number, gritting my teeth they changed it, almost the same)))
3. rested on HB - food is normal, for dinner drinks at your own expense. On March 8, they had a dinner on the shore (it cost 6000 rupees) We dined in the vaunted Blue Lagoon))) well, guys) if THIS is fresh seafood, then I don’t envy you)
4. everything is designed for "oldies". The pool is knee-deep (so as not to drown, apparently), life guards (they are pool cleaners) are frail, they only know how to whistle))) well, of course, the old people will not climb into the ocean more than a meter. The oily smiles of slowly crawling waiters, Tchaikovsky, are like a backdrop in the corridors. Live music of the 60s in the evening in the ala club performed by locals. And the smell...... the smell of mothballs and funerals.
5. they even tried to arrange a beach party))) tried. . .
In short, don't go there if you are less than 3 people. Honestly! Consider another hotel, but better in Thailand : )
For everyone who decides to spend their holidays with health benefits and really relax, Sri Lanka and this hotel are best suited.
