We rested with a company of 8 people at the end of May. The temperature was already comfortable. We swam in the sea every day. The hotel is located away from the main part of Salou. On foot to Salou go 40 minutes, by bus - 10-15 minutes. The hotel itself is located in a picturesque bay surrounded by small rocks. The beach is sandy. Fairly clean. Entry into the sea is smooth. The water is clear and even near the buoys you can see the bottom.
The hotel is comfortable. Outwardly it does not look very good, but inside everything is very worthy. The rooms are comfortable. The main disadvantage is the thin walls (you can hear people talking in the shower / bathroom. Of the minor disadvantages: in the double the bed is made up of two (moves apart), the door to the bathroom / toilet is glass and does not close (for those who are soaring about this).
The food is good. Large selection of food, but after a week already a little boring. However, food can always be combined. There are diet food and fried food. Fruits were always in large quantities: pineapples, watermelons, melons, bananas and oranges. By the way, watermelons and melons are a great alternative to drinks (drinks at lunch and dinner are paid).
There is practically no entertainment. There was no animation in May. Even the music in the pool is not playing. In the evenings there is a show program in the bar. Billiards costs 2 euros per game. There are several slot machines. Not far from the hotel there is a small amusement park and bars / restaurants (did not go to them because there were three meals a day).
Excursions were taken only in Plana, because in Natalie Tours it is twice as expensive, and the quality, according to the stories, is not always higher than in Plana. In addition, you can independently go by bus to Salou, Reus and Tarragona. The last two cities are must-sees. We were in Port Aventura for 2 days. Go, you won't regret it. Shambala is tough (the highest slide in Europe and the highest speed on the descent), and Furis Bakkko is breathtaking (acceleration from 0 to 134 km/h in 3 seconds). It is interesting in Barcelona, but after a sightseeing tour it is advisable to go on your own. Take a trip to Montserrat, and you can take an excursion, only there without fountains. Trust me, there won't be enough time to see everything.

The hotel has a swimming pool, and what is very important: a private beach. Our friends at the same time rested there in Salou, but they had a city beach - they were not satisfied. The beach is very clean, it is cleaned every day, and every few days even a worker with a mine detector passes by. Animations every evening - live music, pretty well. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are paid, by the pool - free of charge. Of the negative points: - practically no one speaks Russian, so a basic knowledge of at least English is desirable; - in two weeks, the magnetic key and the lock in the room were changed twice; - to use the safe in the room - for an extra charge. We traveled a lot. "Required" to visit: Figueros, the house-museum of the mad genius S. Dali. Barcelona is a fabulous city, you can't help but admire. "Port Aventura" - necessarily two days (then a discount on the price), and even then it will not be enough. Well, and much more. Probably everything is calculated that dirty people will not eat, but you won’t take it to your room. The cook is very bad, he doesn't know how to cook. Who is not picky about food, it is quite possible to have a good rest. As I said above, everything else is on the level. Probably someone else will be lucky with the number. We had 239 with sea view. The room went over the restaurant, the view is good - the pool, the sea, the recreation area in front of the hotel - a good start. Out of habit, I went to bed early, I woke up an hour later, at first I could not understand why. The music played so loudly that it was impossible to talk in the room, up to 20 meters from the screaming speakers. And so every evening until 24:00. Number agreed to change for 30 Euros. Why? Last year they changed it without problems and for free. . . It turns out that you need to pay for the cleaning of the new room and administration services. But, after all, we have already paid for the daily cleaning! ? To pay for steel out of principle, I had to go to bed later, but these 2 hours were not enough. Luckily, the baby slept well. Some neighbors moved out, we are not the only ones so “tender”. Regarding the cleaning of the room, we stopped by once at 13:50, we were just going to have lunch. We say, come in 5 minutes, in response - we, "white people", work until 14:00. What can I say - manana. We missed cleaning a couple of times - what do we end up paying for? Music in the evening (and in the afternoon, after dinner, just the children are sleeping) is very loud and absolutely unnecessary. Once, at 23:00, I saw: 4 people were sitting by the pool and 5 on the balcony by the bar (there were about 300 rooms in the hotel), talking calmly. But the music is playing. . . The animators, who, you guessed it, are also new, still those entertainers. Young and many. They don't play with children, adults don't care either. There used to be a lot of competitions in the evenings (he took part, he defended the honor of Russia : -)), constant activity with children. Now it's just music, but it's really loud. . . I saw morning exercises in the pool (aquagym) only once and could not look at the leader for a long time. Last year, I once counted: about 40 adults of both sexes and children in the pool repeat the movements, everyone else around the pool is watching with interest - beautiful and fun. In past years, the animators knew us by sight, remembered, always said hello, it was nice. Yes, and at the reception they used to try to remember in person, they remembered the rooms where the vacationers lived. The atmosphere was friendly and more professional. This year, 2 times the card from the room was not at all in place. Someone decided to go into the room during our absence? In the middle of the week (I would say the season!!! ) began to change the door locks. We were called to the reception and asked to go for a walk on Friday morning. But we leave at 10 am on Saturday, work as much as you want, in return - the master has a day off. And we have? On his working days, the master worked brilliantly, all week there was a screech from a high-speed grinder on the floor. Thanks for not painting the ceilings! On Friday the weather was bad, they were waiting in the lobby. In a restaurant, it has become “like in a restaurant”, the waiters take orders for drinks and then they bring them. Naturally, they do not have time to serve everyone. Previously, drinks were bought personally at the entrance to the restaurant - there were no problems. The duration of breakfast, lunch and dinner has been reduced. For breakfast, from 9:30 in the queue for entry, this was not observed before. The food is the same, the food is good - at least something pleasant. For some reason, watermelons were in short supply. All these are trifles, of course, except for loud music, because of it we never really got enough sleep: if you get up late, you will end up in line at the restaurant in the morning. In general, the attitude of all hotel services towards us (I will not speak for everyone) has noticeably changed and not for the better. Apparently, already tired of each other. We will no longer recommend this hotel to friends. It's a pity!! ! We will open new horizons.
