The hotel staff is very friendly, greet a hundred times a day, ask how you are. The service is inconspicuous, it was worth going to breakfast, as already in the room there was perfect order. The beach is the best in the entire line, the neighboring Four Seasons and Mediterranean shared the neighboring beach separated by stone breakwaters for two. And given that Four Seasons is many times larger, you can imagine how many people there are during the season.
Plus a very beautiful beach area, palm trees, a lot of greenery. In the evening, when it gets dark, there is a beautiful lighting design of the territory, even illuminated palm trees) A good pool, there is a hammam and a sauna by the pool. At first we sat warming ourselves and then immediately from the pier into the sea, we sunbathe and everything was new. On weekends there were weddings all the time, calm, quiet, they would give a present, take pictures as a keepsake and after it gets dark fireworks.
When I was the first time I rented a car through a guide, the second time I ordered a Pullman from the neighboring Four Seasons, it also drives up to the entrance at the agreed time, you say where and in front of the music.
Ordering three meals a day is not at all worth it, only if you are without small children, in neighboring taverns the food is equally good everywhere and the prices are exactly half the price and the portions are much larger. But I especially wanted to highlight the best tavern in my opinion, seafood gourmets will understand me having been there, there is also a Russian menu with dumplings, okroshka, pancakes, kvass, etc. Believe me, we went around a lot of places where you can have a good meal. It is located opposite the Four Seasons a little to the left, called Venice. If you eat outside the hotel, go there immediately.
In general, the hotel is excellent, territory, staff, kitchen and location.
I advise everyone!
The culture of service is at a very high level. One of the advantages of the hotel for citizens of the post-Soviet space is almost a lot of Russian-speaking staff. The sea is excellent, there is a choice of pastime both on the beach and in the hotel (tennis courts, table tennis tables, etc. ). For those who are used to relaxing at night, there is a wide selection of discos and nightclubs with pleasant music.
When we decided to go to Cyprus in mid-September 2008, there were a lot of doubts and negative reviews that I read about on the Internet!
It became even more "terrible" after I read the reviews about the hotel and then I gave my word to write my own opinion on this matter upon my return.
Our vacation turned out to be remarkable and a big "+" in this was played by the hotel! I have no complaints about the hotel, staff, food or the sea!! ! As soon as you come in for breakfast, lunch or dinner, there are at least two waiters around you who are ready to quickly fulfill your request.
Upon arrival, the hotel manager presented us with a fruit platter, for my birthday they brought a cake to our room, and in general there were always little surprises from the hotel staff!
I do not want to advise or recommend this hotel, but just describe my experience!
P. S. Thank you, my dear, for a magical holiday!
Directly about the hotel. It is located far from the center, but, in my opinion, this can be attributed to the pluses of the hotel rather than the minuses. Around there are many different restaurants and shops where you can buy water, wine, fruit - this is quite enough. The territory of the hotel was very, very pleasantly surprised, there is a lot of greenery, a lot of beautiful trees, in the shade of which you can lie on a sunbed and drink a cocktail... There are a lot of sunbeds throughout the territory, and you will always find a free place in the shade or under the sun (this is choice).
There is an indoor pool, a gym - if you want to go in for sports - there are all conditions for this.
I had a wonderful and spacious room overlooking the mountains. True, there was a busy street under the window, and with the window open it was noisy, but in any heat the air conditioners worked wonderfully, so there was no need to open the windows. There was no balcony in the room.
Separately, I would like to note the wonderful work of the service staff! Daily change of linen and towels, in general, everything is on top, as it should be in a five-star hotel.
The food at the hotel is also excellent. Breakfasts are a little monotonous, but very, very tasty, plus a lot of fruits, and even champagne, which pleasantly surprised and cheered up. Dinner here is amazing! Every evening of a certain theme, constantly different cuisine, and plus all this - wonderful live music! I didn’t even want to go anywhere, I ate - sit back and enjoy the music while drinking good wine.
The beach is also good, owned by the hotel. Although with five stars it would be very surprising if it were not there. The sand on the beach is very beautiful and pleasant, a convenient entrance to the sea, and the sea itself is incredibly clean!
In conclusion, I would like to say that holidays in Cyprus are certainly not affordable for everyone, but they are quite reasonably expensive, plus - if you already pay money, you will see and feel what you paid for!
P. S. During the check-out - suddenly there were free rooms right away, the hotel manager tried to persuade us to stay, offered a suite at no extra charge, but we left and did not regret a single gram.
