The hotel has many pros and cons! I'll start with the pros:
Good location, first line, access to the beach, beautiful view from the room, wherever you are given a room, you will have an ocean view!
The kitchen is simply amazing, for all 7 days I did not find a dish that was not tasty! The choice of dishes is large, many types of cheese, jamon and sausages, seafood and many different fruits, fresh juices for breakfast, the staff is friendly! Cleaning every day!
A big plus is the heated pool!
Good free wifi.
Now what I didn't like:
One socket in the room.
The rooms are a bit tired, in building B the room was already very shabby when they moved to building A there is a little better!
The pool is a little shabby but not critical, the tiles near the pools sank a little and you can see the sharp corners about which the tourist got hurt, the sunbeds are crushed, which once again indicates the need for reinnovation!
A very noisy area, in building B it is very difficult to sleep, the music plays very loudly until 2 am, we were moved to building A overlooking the pool, it was better and quieter, they moved without problems, I understand that this is a common thing with them!
For dinner, all drinks including water for a fee, you can not bring anything with you!
There are very few parking spaces, but at the top near the hotel there is a hotel parking only for a fee!
Things were handed over to the storage room for security, there are no complaints, they were used twice!
In conclusion, I want to say that if I come to Tenerife again, I will only settle here!
It takes 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel.
Upon arrival, the eye immediately falls on the spacious hall. At the reception, we were immediately met by a Russian-speaking girl and explained everything in an accessible way. The rooms were on the 7th floor in building A, overlooking the ocean. The rooms are good, a lot of tables and mirrors, which is very convenient for girls.
The hotel is located on the first coastline and the view from the balcony of the ocean was gorgeous, so we received positive emotions from the first day. If you want more silence, then it is better to ask for higher rooms, because there is a street with clubs next to the hotel.
There is also good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, you will immediately be given a username and password.
The safe costs 1.50 euros a night + a deposit of 10 euros.
We took breakfast and dinner and were given purple bracelets. If you want, you can have lunch instead of dinner on any day.
If you take breakfast and dinner, there will be no drinks for dinner. We knew this and took a carafe of water for four for 2.20 euros. If you take wine and do not finish drinking, then they will write the room number on it and put it in the refrigerator until the next dinner, this is very convenient. You can pay both immediately and when leaving the hotel.
I liked the kitchen very much, every day there was something new. In terms of variety, it is much better than good hotels in Turkey.
The breakfasts had a huge number of buns, donuts, cookies, different cheeses, sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles and pancakes with different troppings and jams, various cereals, yogurts, milk and a lot of fruits, tea, coffee, juices, hot chocolate, water.
At dinner, there were a lot of salads, pasta with different sauces, french fries, paella, a large amount of fish and meat, shrimps, mussels, shells, sushi, a lot of vegetables and fruits, a variety of desserts, marmalade, ice cream, nuts.
From fruits and berries there were watermelons, melons, bananas, peaches, apricots, apples, pears, papayas, strawberries, cherries, pineapples, oranges, kiwis, plums, grapes, dried fruits. I really liked that if the fruits ran out they were always put on them and no one ran into them, as is usually the case in Turkey.
The staff is friendly, everyone smiles, the reception will always answer your questions. We mostly asked in English, but there are also girls who understand Russian.
The rooms were cleaned every day, not everyone changed the towels, but if you ask, they will calmly replace it for you.
We went to Troya beach which is 5 minutes from the hotel. We didn’t take sunbeds, we lay on our own towels, but for a deposit of 20 euros you will be given towels at the hotel.
The hotel has 2 swimming pools + children's, tennis courts, table tennis, gym, billiards, bar. There is also evening animation and group sports during the day. The pool lay once, on the 2nd floor, it is quiet and peaceful.
There are many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. There is also a stop 3 minutes from the hotel, from there there is a free bus to the Siam Mall shopping center. You can walk to it in 20-25 minutes. The shopping center is ordinary, of course it can’t be compared with our Moscow ones, but there are basic stores like Zara, Mango, Bershka, and there are also several branded stores. The mall itself is beautiful, the 2nd floor is open-air, there are various cafes, so I advise you to go once.
If you walk along the promenade, you can also stumble upon many shops. In 15 minutes from the hotel there is also a street with various branded and regular shops.
We also went on an excursion to Loro Park, we really liked it. We looked at many animals and visited the show of dolphins, killer whales and fur seals. Highly recommend, especially for children. The tour was taken from a tour operator.
In general, we are very satisfied with the hotel, we were very impressed, I want to come there again. I advise everyone.
Hope the review was helpful. If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to answer. You can write to Instagram dasha. lukinaa
In general, the staff is very friendly, especially if you learn a few words in Spanish : ). Russian-speaking girls work at the reception - all issues are resolved promptly.
Unlike many hotels in Tenerife, the Wi-Fi in the rooms is free and quite decent.
There is animation near the pool every day, but we enjoyed the beach: the nearest one is 5 minutes, with yellow sand - 15 minutes. You need an umbrella on the beach (10-15 euros in shops), if you are not ready to pay for sunbeds with umbrellas. Yes, and with a towel you can lie down right by the water, and sunbeds with umbrellas are at the end of the beach.
In August, the weather was gorgeous - the air during the day was 27-28 degrees, the water in the ocean was + 23 degrees. It was very comfortable!
About food. They took breakfast and dinner. Well, very tasty and varied! +2 kg guaranteed : ) For all the days you could choose something new, the dishes every day were varied: several kinds of fish, rabbit meat, lamb, chicken, pork, beef. Large selection of fruits. Drinks are paid in the evening: a glass of wine 2 euros, cola or sprite 2.30 euros. When I sprained my leg, they gave my husband a tray without any problems and he brought food for two into the room until I myself could go down.
Before leaving on the day of eviction, we were provided with a duty room for 30 minutes. Things were left in the storage room. They even gave us a card to pass through the territory so that we could safely leave the hotel before departure. No problem sunbathing by the pool. Very nice!
Impressions about the hotel and Tenerife are the most pleasant! Would love to come back!
We lived in building B. 11th floor. The windows overlooked the side of the discos.
Hotel.
Location: near the shopping center Veronicas. Noisy at night. With the windows closed and the air conditioner running, the noise of the music is heard until the morning. Earplugs helped out. Near the beach. First line from the ocean. There are 3 supermarkets nearby. Close to shops and tour desks. To the bus station 15-20 minutes on foot. It's also a 15 minute walk to the pyramid of Aron.
Meals: we had breakfasts + dinners (we didn’t take bracelets, we took a food card, if you want to have lunch, but if you want to have dinner, it’s convenient! ). This is quite enough. Fruits: apples, pears, melon, watermelon, plums, papaya, grapes, kiwi, bananas, oranges, grapefruit. Grill: 2 types of fish + 2 types of meat. Meat and fish in different sauces. Side dishes: fries, pasta, rice, paella, potatoes. Pizza and lasagna. For breakfast, eggs in different types, sausage and cheese. Well, all sorts of muesli....About the cheese separately: there were about ten species! And camembert and dorblu, and goat and gouda, and emmental and feta cheese and some others....Coffee sucks....In short, there are no complaints about nutrition....Everything was enough....I didn’t see any queues....The table also did not have to wait....
Room: the furniture is not the newest. But whole. Double bed made up of two single beds. The mattress is hard. Plumbing is better than Turkish-Egyptian. The room has a working stove for two burners + a complete set of dishes. But we only used glasses and spoons (we ate natural yoghurts from breakfast for lunch). Empty refrigerator with an ice mold. On the balcony there are plastic chairs and a table. Issued 2 electronic cards, also a plus. A plus and the fact that the electrician is not tied to the card. The room is not big, but quite comfortable.
Coral travel-ugly guide soared super expensive excursions and did not say that in stores for registration of taxis you need to take paper, and in stores everything is frozen, like everything is drawn up by check! Be carefull!
On excursions, if anyone has questions, I will answer in the comments.
Beach: to the longest three minutes on foot. Very cool. There was a wave and a calm. There was plenty of room for the season. We bought an umbrella and rolled on hotel towels (deposit 10 euros). Rent of 2 sun loungers and an umbrella - 9 euros / day.
Shopping........ Mmmmmmm........
Rest satisfied.
If you still choose this hotel, take only breakfast. The food at the hotel is not tasty, there are a lot of places nearby where you can eat tasty and cheap. If you take dinner, then be prepared to pay for drinks separately (water, juice, coffee, etc. ). Coca-cola 0.25 costs 2.25 euros, water 05, - 2 euros. Don't expect shrimp, crabs and scallops, they don't feed anything like that. The food is exactly the same as in Egypt in an average hotel, even the sausages are the same. Separate conversation for the Internet. Internet is paid, including WI_FI, an hour costs 5 euros. I didn’t pay in principle, there are a lot of MSDonalds nearby. There will be questions, write, I will try to answer.
P. S. The island has great shopping. There are many shops in the southern part, but most of all in the capital, Santa Cruz. TM made in Spain is 30-40 percent cheaper than in Kyiv (new collection). There I thought about whether to buy some thing or not to buy, but when I arrived here, I regretted that I had not bought it.
I'll start with the cons. The main disadvantage is the noise at night. Discos are located along the street directly under the windows of the hotel. It is simply impossible to hide from the noise, although the soundproofing in the rooms is good compared to other hotels. Our baby slept great, but my wife and I didn't. But, as they say, let's sleep in the other world. We decided that the rest would not spoil anything for us - after putting the cub to bed, we began to settle down on the balcony in the evenings. And the view, I tell you from the top floor, is simply amazing. We sat in silence for hours, admiring the sea, sometimes we took with us a bottle of local wine (excellent wine, it should be noted), some exotic food and enjoyed the evening and conversations. So much for romance in marriage! Fortunately, in Spain it is not accepted, as in Russia, to walk until dawn, but only until 3 o'clock in the morning, so these night dances did not tire us at all.
The food is excellent at the hotel. In addition, there are many restaurants around the hotel. The prices are democratic.
About excursions. We limited ourselves to only one survey, because we have a small child with us and all that. In general, the hotel guide did not even offer us anything special. Just talked about the children's programs.
About the beach. Sol Tenerife is located very conveniently - on the very seashore. It should be borne in mind that even for hotel guests, sunbeds and umbrellas are paid. The quality of the beach is incomparable. the sand is fine, the sea is gentle. there are several beaches in tenerife with volcanic sand, it is black and stains clothes a lot, then you can’t wash it off, but it’s still worth visiting them. I recommend the hotel.
I can not say that the hotel is great, but its location is what you need for young people!
It is located on the noisiest street of Veronicas, where all the clubs and restaurants of the island are gathered. On the one hand, this is a plus, but at first it was simply impossible to sleep in the hotel because of the music that plays until 5-6 in the morning ! ! then you get used to it
Huge plus - the first coastline! True, you need to walk three minutes to the beach itself, since the entrance to the ocean is not convenient (or simply unreal))) in front of the hotel.
Night shops are located across the road, which is very convenient.
Rooms: Rooms are simple. The furniture is old. But everything you need is there! Cleaned up every day.
And most importantly - there is a kitchen block))) maybe for someone this is not very valuable information, but those who relax with breakfast - what you need)) The main thing is to take a room with a building that is a little further from the ocean, the difference is 50 meters, but at the same time, the ocean view is gorgeous and from all rooms!
Despite the fact that everyone is used to thinking that the Canaries are very expensive, food, prices in cafes and clubs are cheap!!
Beer in any institution 1-1.5 euros. You can eat for 4-5 euros. For lovers of fest food - McDonald's, Subway - 2 minutes walk from the hotel, near the beach.
Excursions: rent a car! ! Otherwise, the island is not to be seen! rental price from 35 euros / day.
Be sure to visit Laura Park! ! I was happy like a child! ! You won't see so many animals anywhere else! The aquarium is just amazing!
Have a nice holiday in Tenerife !!! !
