The long-awaited, long-suffering, long-suffering trip to Tbilisi has taken place!
Since I will write a story about this in detail, now I will briefly describe the hotel, which became my Georgian home for a short 4 days. First of all, I will say that going to Georgia and living there in a large expensive hotel, in my opinion, is bad manners. To relax in a small, original Georgia, you need to choose a small and atmospheric hotel. That is why I chose a small Nine hotel in
in the heart of Tbilisi. The location of the hotel is a real gift. 100m to Avlabari metro station, 100m to Metekhi temple and Gorgasali square (aka Meydan square).
A more convenient location could not be imagined. As soon as we entered the hall, the hospitable hosts greeted us with glasses of red wine and heartfelt wishes to have a good time at their place, which was certainly very pleasant. They settled in right away. The room is spacious and clean, equipped with everything you need -
towels, slippers, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, refrigerator, TV, good internet. The windows overlooked a quiet street.
Having quickly taken a shower, we gathered for the first walk around the city and, before leaving, asked to cook
us breakfast the next morning. The cost of breakfast is 15 GEL, for this small fee we got scrambled eggs cooked by the hostess from homemade eggs, fresh goat cheese, butter, cold cuts, warm bread, vegetables, fruits and coffee.
In addition to being close to the metro and the city center, the location of the hotel is convenient due to the proximity to inexpensive wine shops, grocery stores and exchange offices, which is very important.
Before leaving, they asked us to order a taxi for us, at the reception they announced the cost of 40 GEL, however, in the morning it turned out that the girl from the reception misunderstood us and ordered a taxi for the evening. As a result, they called a taxi online and the trip cost 20 GEL (to the airport)
