Beach - stones, not for children, you need special shoes.
Check-in - not earlier than 12, breakfast will not be given if the arrival was early, only for $ 10.
For families with small children and with a stroller, there are no ramps, steps are everywhere.
A lot of the local people are on holiday.
ANIMATION? I don't know, haven't heard. Once they accidentally came to the sound of music in the evening - a show of one actor, where they torture one unfortunate yogi for the whole program - after a couple of monotonous numbers it becomes stupidly boring. Nobody calls anyone anywhere, we guessed from the form that these were animators at the end of the rest, when on the 5th day they came to call us for water aerobics.
The territory of the hotel is small, for Egypt it is very surprising. It looks more like Turkey, three four-story buildings with the letter P, pools between them, then a beach - that’s all, there’s nowhere to walk from the word at all, only outside the hotel, which we did every evening, by the way, this is the difference from Sharm - you can do without a taxi , 2 km to the old town, easy walking distance. You can get back for 1 dollar, or 15 Egyptian pounds.
BEACH - there are two of them, one paddling pool - i. e. quite small, knee-deep near the buoys, the second one is also small, but not entirely sad - if you go behind the buoys, you can EVEN SWIMMING! The underwater world is certainly not rich, but it is present, so you won’t be left without impressions at all. The pontoon was dismantled at the time of our stay. So there is no entry into the water from the pontoon. Broken sunbeds and torn beach mattresses were no longer a surprise. The features include a constant wind on the beach, in the summer it's not bad, but in the winter it's worth considering. . .
FOOD - there is nothing special to say here, standard for Egypt, you can always find something to eat for yourself, of course, if you don’t show off and don’t expect that you will be served lobster for breakfast. Speaking of seafood - once they gave stewed squid. A visit to the A la Carte fish restaurant, this is a separate song, funny, right - you sign up, and they give you a standard dinner, you don’t choose anything - a set of fish (by the way, not badly cooked), rice, squid in batter - fried in rancid oil, more pleasure then. Dig deeper, ate fish and went to dinner))))
COVID-19 - social distancing? Really? What are you talking about? Such crowds at meals, plus a huge number of guests from the local population who do not need to take PCR tests, stop by without any information. In general, roulette - from a series of how lucky. Thank God we got through.
We usually try to be positive and not look for flaws, but here we didn’t even have to look for them, they just caught our eye!
We will not return here. And we cannot recommend this hotel. Draw conclusions and decide for yourself, read real, not fabricated reviews on Google maps.
By the number I can say - everything is super! For 2 adults and 2 children, we were given a two-room spacious room with a balcony and a sea view. Plumbing, furniture, bedding, etc. are not old.
The room has a refrigerator, kettle, safe for free.
Cleaning is regular, but the floor is not cleaned very well. There were always fresh towels, toilet paper and napkins.
The food is ok but not varied. There was no seafood, only a couple of times squid. Meat, chicken, fish, vegetables in various forms, fruits, confectionery. There is enough food for everyone. There are people standing on all the dishes during the distribution. They impose a lot.
The staff is friendly, smiling at any time of the day. In the restaurant, special thanks to the waiter Ahmed. Every day he left us a table, helped bring dishes to the table.
There is animation, children's and after adults belly dance, tanura dance, acrobat, etc.
From sports free of charge volleyball, yoga, table tennis, aqua aerobics playground with slide, trampoline swings.
Of the minuses: a little dirty territory, drinks, juices from the bar smell strongly of bleach. When checking out, I had to extend the room for 7 hours, the room for $ 13, because check-out at 12:00 the plane was at 22:00, and transfer to the airport at 18:30. With children in the heat, it would be difficult to be outside all day. They cut off the bracelets, but the truth was given the opportunity to dine.
The coast is sandy, shallow, walking to the buoys, we did not see corals like in Sharm. The pier is closed for repairs.
The sea water is warm. They clean the sea: remove large stones in the water, rake up rubbish, jellyfish, algae washed ashore at high tide.
There were enough beds.
The area is not big. The hotel is full. Many Arabs are settled. They are not educated: they stole things from the beach, touched everything without asking, lay down on our towels on sunbeds. The hotel is not 5 stars, but still, the service is good.
Everything is clean and very decent. The warm, good attitude of the staff smooths out minor shortcomings.
The beach is clean and large, there is enough space for sunbeds, the pool is sometimes crowded. Special thanks to the guide of the hotel Ali Shebl for the human attitude.
When we left, at 5 in the morning, they didn’t give us food on the road, it turns out we had to order it in the evening, no one talked about it.
The room is not bad, the only negative is that the shower stall was leaking very strongly, because of which there was always water in the bathroom.
The territory of the hotel is small, cozy, green, well-groomed. Palm trees and flowers also grow on the beach. The entry into the sea is gentle and sandy.
Food for a 5-star hotel is not varied.
The staff is not intrusive, does not ask for money. But people offering services - massage, diving, excursions, etc. - very intrusive.
Internet for 7 dollars - a week, a day - for 3 dollars, an hour - 1 dollar.
There was no entertainment program as such.
