We had a rest with our family (two adults and three children), the check-in was (19.05. 2022) with a scandal and hassle. Two rooms were booked, in the end, as we were told, we have only one room, and the second one is booked in another hotel and solve the problem yourself. At the reception, a Russian-speaking girl (in my opinion, her name was Elena), boorish behavior, behaves as if we came to her house. As a result, we were placed with a scandal after 5 hours. When placing, as usual, they tried to push us good type rooms for an additional fee.
The rooms are located opposite each other, so you will not be able to get enough sleep, everything that happens in the corridor (the noise of slamming doors, conversations, etc. ) it's like everything is happening next to your bed. The location of the rooms to choose from with a view of the construction site and the bazaar or with a view of the sea, but with an additional payment of $ 40 per day. From May 24 to May 28, a huge number of local residents from villages (aborigines) arrived at the hotel, there is no other way to call them. They had a conference there, although it seems to me they have never even heard such a word : ). These are people who have never seen the sea, or the beach, or trees, in short, or anything, so they urgently needed to make a mess of everything they saw around. And as for the pier, it was impossible to get to it at all, it seems to me that there were even fewer people at the Michael Jackson concert.
Nutrition: the quality of the products is 3. monotonous, meager, sweet everything is not tasty and looks so-so, the pastries are not bad.
Beach: the beach is not bad - white sand, a good entry into the sea without reefs and stones, from the pier you can dive with a mask and watch the fish, the reef is beautiful, there are a lot of fish - and this is the only plus at the hotel. The entire beach is equipped with only 1 shower and a foot washer. There are no toilets near the beach and bars, as there was only enough imagination to place them near the main building. Therefore, you still need to try to find them and have time to run.
There were only chips and questionable cocktails at the beach bar, and then everyone was missing them, the waiters constantly hinted about tips.
Conclusion: the hotel clearly does not value its reputation. There are other, but much cooler hotels in the same price category. Don't waste money on it! We were very sorry that we chose him.

We didn't get the room we booked. I had to spoil my vacation and time to defend my own. As I was told at the reception, the picture is stretched in the photo and they do not have such rooms. We asked to transfer things to a new room and went to the beach ourselves. As a result, our suitcases and a backpack with money and a laptop were thrown near the room right on the floor. And these things lay there for three hours. You can write a lot more about the inconsistency: old rooms, plumbing, no water pressure, water is either hot or cold, it is not possible to adjust. Room cleaning is poor. Two shared toilets for the whole Hotel, you won’t wait for waiters in the restaurant, they just pass by as if you weren’t there. The food is not bad but with this level of the hotel, although sometimes you can give seafood. When we entered the room, my soul sank. Room 927 on the 2nd floor: small; cabinet doors as in the pantry in the "Khrushchev", the same entrance door of the room and the railing in the building; view of the street with shops and a tennis court, then the wall of the neighboring hotel - a dead end and "horror"; opposite the balcony on the street there are benches facing the hotel and filled with people - the balcony and the room “turn into a stage”; next to the amphitheater (where there is a children's program then an evening show) and constant noise comes from the street; the street is lit with lanterns, one of which shines right through the window all night. We decided to change rooms in the morning. For $50 we were offered about the same room. For a room with a sea view, they asked for $ 40 per day.
Since the room was slightly larger, we agreed. For an additional $240 we got: the same small bathroom as in the previous room; one of the mattresses is strongly sagging; leak from the shower to the floor; a flashing light above the bathroom mirror; missing hooks for things in the bathroom; non-working upper row of buttons (1-3) in the safe. It would seem - all this is easy to repair or replace, but not in the Baron. For the whole holiday, nothing was really fixed, despite our repeated requests. Only the mattress was replaced with a dirty one, smaller than the size of the bed. But not sold! Also during the week, the water was turned off twice and the light once, throughout the hotel.
As it turned out, discrimination flourishes in the Baron, not even on a national basis, but on a linguistic and geographical basis! The staff primarily serves Arabs and "Western Europe"! If you are a Russian speaker from the former Soviet Union, then your turn may simply not reach!
Lunch starts at 12:30. That is, after 12:00 you cannot use the hotel services again (Internet, water, coffee, food, beach towels). Our transfer was around 5:00 pm. We went to reception and wanted to pay for a half day extension. But we were told that this would still not provide the opportunity to eat for free. Dinner for two at a local restaurant costs $76. The hotel manager explained that they have such rules. This hotel positions itself as 5 stars. But there are old, worn-out rooms, old plumbing, which is malfunctioning. Regular food. It is tasty, but the same type (twice there were shrimp and once strawberries).
Yes, a cool beach, a reef and a beautiful large area. But it's not worth the money the hotel charges for the rooms. And the situation with a paid lunch with a late check-out, in my opinion, is unacceptable for 5 stars.
The food is varied, very tasty cooked, a lot of variety of meat, fish, an abundance of fruits. The waiters are helpful, but not intrusive, which is important. The bars around the pool and on the beach are great! And the beach is sandy, large, there are plenty of sunbeds, you don’t need to run and take up space in the morning. One of the few beautiful coral reefs in Sharm, a variety of colorful fish, red sea urchins and rays, it was interesting to see all this. Special thanks to the diving center and qualified instructor! Wi-Fi is free on site and in the room. It turned out to be a very interesting and very comfortable stay!

- good food, for breakfast there was fresh orange juice, red fish and beef bacon. Ice cream in unlimited quantities from 12:00.
- mini bar replenished daily (2 cans of Stella beer, Pepsi, cola, sevenap, juice);
- very spacious room, well cleaned. Everything is not very new, but the bed is snow-white without spools)))
- the air conditioner worked well, the card is not needed for it, it turned off only if you open the door to the balcony;
- you can visit 3 A la carte restaurants in 7 days;
- well-groomed lawn, clean sand on the beach (garbage was carefully removed), sunbeds on the beach at a distance of 1.5 m from each other. Mattresses made of white leatherette, wiped them every morning;
- for eight days, from 1/10 to 8/10, the pontoon was never closed, even when there was a red flag and waves, you could swim safely.
CONS (also subjective, as for our family):
- for early check-in, insistently require $ 50. We arrived at the hotel at 7 am. We settled at 10-11, I went to the reception desk 5 times! And my husband a couple of times
- in rooms with a sea view settle mostly Arabs. They wanted to negotiate for $30-40, but they want $30 for every day. We looked at the wall of the tennis court;
- upon arrival, they said until 12:30 we can neither eat nor drink anything. She asked for tea for the child, they said from 11 not earlier;
- they do not have beds for couples, they asked to move, but the request was fulfilled after a couple of reminders;
- the territory is very small and "flat", there is nowhere to walk except the promenade. Few large trees and bushes, very bald. There are few places for interesting photos, there is no "panorama", the hotel does not have a view;
- there is no toilet on the beach at all, and the shower is all 2 and far from the pontoon;
- the choice of food is very modest, for seven days I have never seen seafood, except for 1-2 types of fish, there are always 2 types of soups. In the spring, my sister was here, she sent photos of sushi and rolls with red fish for dinner, now they are gone. Grill 1 type every evening (for comparison, we got dinner in Rehana (the flight was delayed by a day), there is a choice of food 2-3 times more, 5 types of grill and 4 types of soup for dinner! and 2 seafood dishes). From the food I liked only breakfast, after lunch and dinner there was always some kind of disappointment. Cheese only for breakfast(((Desserts are mediocre;
- in the Mojito bar for a fee !!! , and non-alcoholic also $ 17. In the lobby bar, 5-7 types of imported alcohol should be poured, but the dispensers in the imported bottles were torn off and it’s clearly not right there... Again, in the spring there was normal alcohol. Although in our presence the Arabs were poured from bottles with dispensers, and at the request of us to pour the same, the bartender pretended not to understand us;
- from entertainment only sports and 1 musician in the evening in the Alacarte restaurant by the pool;
- the hotel is far from all the entertainment, a taxi to the Old Town is $8-10 one way (the hotel generally asked $20 one way).
P. S. The BARON hotel is for a very relaxing holiday, who only needs a cool reef and more or less decent food. Suitable for couples with small children with strollers or if you have problems with your feet. For us, he seemed a bit uncomfortable.
