A large territory, its own beach, there is where to walk, but the rooms, like the whole hotel, were "tired" probably 10 years ago but looked cheerful.
The food is normal - meat, fish, salads, desserts, but don't expect seafood and lobsters either : )
There are many types of alcohol in the bar, but everything is local and not of high quality, the beer is the most normal in quality.
Many vacationers from Germany, Poland, and CIS countries.
Outside the hotel there is nothing but a street with souvenirs and a couple of shops, desert, nowhere to walk. You can get to Hurghada by taxi or with a tour, there is also nothing to do in Hurghada - the city is not interesting.
The excursions are also some more interesting others not. I liked diving and quad bikes, for example, Luxor is a 7-8 hour round trip and 45 minutes in the temple ("And you have another 25 minutes of free time jogging . . ") to the temple complex in which, for good, you need to spend 2-2 , 5 hours to see everything calmly, then an incomprehensible cafe and boat rides along the Nile to a banana island where they will show two monkeys, one crocodile and give a couple of bananas : )
The result of the hotel can be described by the phrase "Berdyansk for the Germans. "
We stopped at 10-00 and settled at 12-00 without any problems, they offered the first floor and the fifth, we chose the first one. it has a balcony, a five-story building, there are no balconies on the fourth and fifth floors. The staff is well trained, everyone smiles and greets as they can))
Room: after repair, everything is clean, new air conditioner, new hair dryer, furniture is a bit old, but it is clear that it was also restored with varnish, so at first glance it’s even very good, but we don’t live there, but for 10 days it’s normal, they cleaned the room every day, we left a small chocolate bar, there was a refrigerator, a little tired, but working.
Dining room: everything was enough for everyone, if something ran out, then they immediately replenished it, it’s very difficult to stay hungry, queues of 3-4 people, there was only beef for delivery, but they put as much as you ask, I didn’t see any of the vacationers singled out, Yes, the Germans gave coins and they smiled wider.
Territory: very beautiful, you must see it, white herons walk,
many paths leading to the sea.
Sea: something. we came at 8 in the morning the sea at the place according to the depth of the norms who can swim, for children it’s a little deep, by lunchtime the tide was low and it became shallow, for children it’s the most, but to walk 20-30 meters and norms, but for those who can’t swim coral islands became available where there are a lot of fish, and if you sail away, quite large fish swim there. near the pier, at 11 and 17 o'clock, large turtles swim up, this is something. be sure to bring your masks. After lunch, the tide and the depth are all the norms for those who know how to swim, do not worry, the sea was convenient for everyone. there is a bar on the beach, bottled beer is normal, gin tonic, whiskey, rum are all good not diluted.
Animation: during the day, everyone was invited to exercise, yoga, aqua aerobics, basketball, in the evening for children, then for adults, well, it’s different here, sometimes it’s normal.
A hotel for people over 40. We liked everything, clean, satisfying and wonderful sea, I will have the opportunity to return.
I liked the food. We have already been to Egypt many times, and in general the food is like everywhere else. There is a lot of meat: chicken, beef and fish every day and for every meal. There were fruits, sweets, salads - in general, everything was fine.
The beach is a bit small, but at high tide, already 5 meters from the shore, it is deep enough to swim. Many children like it. Beautiful and clean sand, the sea is very beautiful in color, a little dirty from the grass, but generally clean, compared to our Black Sea.
Behind the buoys there are islands with reefs, there is something to see.
There was animation, a children's disco.
We paid $630 for three (I waited a long time for this particular hotel, and looked when the price would be low enough), but even if the trip cost $1000 for three, this hotel is worth it. We went to more expensive hotels, but the sea was worse, and the food was worse and the rooms...
There were not many Arabs, so maybe there were no negative factors that others write about.
The water park is open every day, with a lunch break. Ice cream is served at the bar from 16-17.
On the beach: now the Egyptians have also occupied the sea - they just stand along the line of buoys, do not swim; therefore it is very problematic to swim and dive; in the sea a constant uproar.
Regarding the rooms: it is the locals who are settled exclusively on the 3rd floor (the best view), as well as in renovated bungalows. Europeans are offered only rooms of the 4th-5th floors without a balcony or all floors with a view of the road / construction site.
Regarding water: only 1 liter of bottled water is issued upon check-in, I recommend buying nearby in stores; Do not take water from coolers - the Egyptians drink directly from the "spout", i. e. without taking water into the container.
Meals: you won't go hungry, but like in any hotel, in the second week you want borscht, Russian salad and lard. For those who like to swell: bottled beer, whiskey from plastic bottles, wine in bags. Colla, sprite, schweppes, fanta available. I didn't get poisoned)))) Take your glasses with you. Animation Entertainment: have fun and no more: standard - aqua aerobics, dancing by the pool, volleyball on the beach, mini disco, evening gatherings with music) Sea: ohh, it's magical! Snow-white sand, yellow striped carp, turquoise, red))) crabs are hugging! Take a bun with you, they will eat fish from your hands) The only minus is shallow... swim lovers: take care of your knees)))
Hotel location: 50 km from the center of Hurghada, 40 minutes by bus. Near the hotel there is a desert and several shops with souvenirs made in the distant 90s. Weather: at night +33, during the day +40 in the shade. The wind is strong but warm in August. Sunset at 18.00, dawn at 4.00. A separate tick: we arrived at the hotel and a bunch of Arabs who wipe themselves with my towel on the pool and unceremoniously attack the sunbed, which I actually occupied long before they appeared)) After a while, I realized that they are not arrogant... just such a mentality they have very large ones): whoever has time, he and with a towel)) In fact, they are very sympathetic, kind and open people.
We spent a week surrounded by Arabs, Germans and Ukrainians, and then Rousseau tourist arrived!!! (Flights to Hurghada opened?!!! ) Sorry, I have nothing against loud music, drunkenness and fun! But, my vacation ended when wild madness began: drunken Russians threw up all the sunbeds, from portable speakers it rushed: "fuck @ @ @ queen", in the morning the whole coast was in cigarette butts (((It became unpleasant...
Do not expect luxury apartments, gourmet food and jagi until the morning))) but the sea, hospitality will delight you! And, yes, never get close to lawn sprayers - it's sewer water) have a nice rest everyone)
They go to the slides from the top five, so it’s never calm at the pools! But there is a small pool on the opposite side, at the end of the villas, there is complete silence! The sea is just super, even at low tide you can safely swim or walk to the buoys and deeper in small lagoons! For children, just a fairy tale! And pure sand! The beach is huge! Four and five are placed quietly! Horses walk along the beach and a camel ride for money! There is a bar! But ice cream and snacks at the bar near the pools! They pour it calmly and into your glasses, without pretensions! And of course, if you give a tip or a chocolate bar, they smile at you more)))
We took a tour of Luxor: Karnak Temple, Hatshepsut Temple, Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon and a bunch of different things, in one day not to see everything. But it was a little hot. Dender also has a good temple, you can go. The rest is far away.
Polite, clean and nice.
Thank you, let's come again!
For an additional fee moved to the bungalow. It looks like nothing, but the air conditioner of Napoleon's time buzzes and blows out of one bed. A window with a mosquito net, but it does not fulfill its role from the cracks. The first night I killed mosquitoes and judging by the prints on the walls - I'm not the first. Then the window was not opened, and at night several times turned on the cond. The good was no longer hot (22 degrees at night). In the afternoon it was approx. 30 degrees. You can spray or turn on the fumigator, but you will have to breathe. Very inconvenient. The situation is the same in the hotel rooms. Mosquitoes are poisoned on the street (according to their assurances), but I have not seen them.
The territory is well-groomed and green. The beach is dirty. I have never seen him collect. The sea is 30 meters shallow, then deeper and like a reef.
But whoever saw the real reefs is a pathetic parody.
They are fed without refinement, but in a variety and quality. Don't stay hungry. There is water for children. There is a tennis court, but unkempt, and it overlooks the kitchen. Smells ...Contingent - many elderly people (Czechs, Germans, Ukrainians, Belarusians, but there are also Muscovites). I smoke a lot.
Many excursions, but did not enjoy. Bring beach towels for lying on sunbeds, because they give, to put it mildly, not very ...I'm sure you can do without the services of tour operators. Book through Booking, buy airline in advance. Buy insurance yourself. It will be cheaper. Especially if the airport is nearby, because a taxi can devour all the savings. 10 years ago in April they were in Taba. It's a little better there.
Opened roaming from Kyivstar. They withdrew money for the days when the phone was turned off, and turned on just to see the time, take a photo. Prove anything ...
Therefore, if you do not plan to use a smartphone other than a camera, remove the SIM card immediately at the airport of departure. Wi-Fi is paid and expensive. You can buy a card online from an Egyptian operator. We took off in the evening. They were fed an unpaid lunch. Neighboring hotels (like steeper) are a little over 20% full.
