I rarely write negative reviews, but this one seems to be the case. So what did you like? Perhaps the beach itself and its cleaning. But you must understand - this is a palm tree, its branch, there is no question of any endless ocean, the water is clean, beautiful, a thousand stars in the rays of the sun! But as usual, something is wrong! Lots of sun loungers, they are comfortable, but umbrellas!! ! Catastrophically missing!! ! Vacationers come to sunbathe and... are forced to look for and organize everything for themselves! The staff is indifferent and not quick, you say - well, they will look, maybe they will help, something like that. The room is normal, not 50 sq. m as stated, and again BUT - there are four hangers in the closet, Carl! Four!! ! We were with my husband for 18 days, do you think we had enough? There are two drawers for the whole room, everything else is an imitation, what's the point? And the worst thing is air conditioning!! ! He made a sound, clicking, crackling, you don’t notice during the day, at night it’s impossible to sleep! But this is the UAE! Even in winter you need air conditioning! They asked to eliminate it - a specialist came... probably... poked at the control panel for a long time, then opened the hatch in the bath, conjured there and left, while the hatch did not close, it swayed open overhead for another two days, until we tearfully they begged at the reception to close it, by the way they asked for two days in a row, they would have closed it themselves, but... without a stepladder it was impossible to get it!
The coffee machine advertised in every room is a myth, it was just a kettle. There was a plus - I liked the bathroom - clearly in zones, everything is convenient and functional, of course, it could not do without BUT - the door to the shower room was hung crookedly, there was a gap into which water got in all the time and a huge puddle spilled, wiped all the time, and... saved a towel under the door. Requests were fulfilled... for the 5th, 10th time, for example, they took the bathrobe, brought the next one only on the third day, after regular contact with the reception. Cleaning... if it's cleaning, then it came down to making the bed and changing towels, and, it seems to me, in a beach hotel, it is customary to change them twice a day, otherwise there are simply no dry ones in the morning, towels do not dry overnight in the UAE ! The cleaning of the balcony during the 18 days of stay was done ONCE, and I assure you - this was not enough.
The kitchen is not bad, but sooo poor, Tuesday, for example, oriental cuisine, there is nothing to feed a three-year-old child! Everything! Everything! sharp! Love pasta, please, but it's with a certain sauce, don't you like it? There is no other! Desserts are beautiful, but... not tasty... maybe because PP? There is no ice cream, or rather, there is, but you had to ask specifically to carry it from the beach bar, of course for a fee. The drinks indicated on the menu were made differently all the time, which is strange - once a strawberry smoothie is just mmmmm... the next day - it's not real to drink. The staff in the restaurant is also all relaxed, sometimes they didn’t clean the dishes at all until the end of the dinner, they had to rearrange them where they needed to. But if the tables were at least somehow followed, then the floor is a disaster!! ! From the beginning of dinner until closing, no one cleaned it! And there were a lot of vacationers with children... so everyone crunched shoes on french fries, peas, chicken bones, etc.
The rooms that overlooked the hall turned out to be very unprofitable, because the noise from the hall was heard in the rooms, the settlement went on both at night and early in the morning, so the noise often interfered with sleep. And most importantly - the hotel positions itself - for a healthy lifestyle! No alcohol! No smoking! Well... there seems to be no alcohol, but smoking !! ! Soooo much smoking! All on balconies! But... there are no ashtrays and all this flies down like burning cigarette butts !! ! By the way, before booking, we clarified - we need a room with a balcony and for smokers - so as not to disturb anyone in any way, the hotel assured us - yes, everything is OK, come everything is ready for you, and by the way separate beds are also prepared for you. No matter how it is!!! ! When checking in - the young lady from the reception assured that they did not have smoking rooms at all, we had to call the travel agency that met us, find out, swear, it turns out - the hotel is cunning and they have a whole floor (second) for smokers, but... there are no separate beds ! So take care of your sore back on a shared bed!
With grief in half, we were settled in a room on the 2nd floor, but... with a shared bed. They asked for at least separate blankets - they brought another one, but... the next day when cleaning it was taken away... I had to ask again! Later, they simply hid it in the closet! Yes, and the floor of the beach also smokes, decent smokers go to the places designated for them, they are convenient and comfortable, the rest of the beach smokes on sun loungers and, again, for lack of ashtrays, cigarette butts are buried in the sand! Meaning? Well, if this is the reality - delimit the zones for some and for others! Everything! Problem solved! Everyone is happy! The beach is clean!
I was pleased with the hotel's car - large and comfortable and the price is sooo adequate. In covid landing in tachy - 2 people each, we were 3 adults and a baby, we had to take two cars - according to the rules, and so the hotel car allowed us all to land together and at the same time the price is slightly lower than for two separate tachy. It was possible to book a car in advance - if trips were planned, we used this service with pleasure - and we went to the zoo and to the malls and to the scourge of Jumeirah for a walk and to Legoland. Everything was convenient and comfortable.
