I stayed at the hotel "Beaumonde" 3 * from 02.01 to 09.01. 2013. I booked the hotel in a Russian travel agency. The hotel is located in the city center on 11 Chavchavadze Street, which crosses Rustaveli Avenue. 5 min walk to it. The hotel is located at the foot of Mount Mtsatminda, so the road to it runs up. But it's even good for health, easy lifting. There are many streets in Tbilisi with steep descents and ascents, so I don’t envy drivers. The hotel is unremarkable from the outside, but inside it has its own flavor. Everything is finished antique, wood, leather sofas, mirrors, paintings in the hall. There is a library, Internet access. There are not many rooms, about twenty, but all are quite spacious. I lived in a standard room, which had everything you needed: a large wardrobe, a double bed, a table, a chair, a chest of drawers with a mirror, bedside tables, a TV, air conditioning (which I sometimes turned on at +32), there was no refrigerator, in the bathroomshower room, toiletries were constantly added as they were used, towels were changed daily. Heating works fine, for me from the Urals. I was pleased that several Russian-language channels, including ORT, are broadcast on cable and satellite TV in Georgia. So I was also up to date. Booked with breakfast. Buffet breakfast, scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs on request. You won't leave hungry. Safe is free at the reception. Iron, ironing board on request. They gave me a hair dryer for a week to use. The attitude to the guests, to the Russians, is excellent. Very friendly hotel staff, and it is clear that this is not ostentatious. They asked me about Russia, about our life, etc. All the sights are located very close to the hotel, on Rustaveli Avenue, there are also many cafes for every budget.
