I chose the hotel in Tossa (as the locals call the city of Tossa de Mar) because of its attractions: the Medieval fortress with the Old Town, as well as beaches (Playa Gran, Mar Menuda, Playa des Codolar). The hotel is new, modern, with everything you need and friendly staff. The location of the hotel is very good: on a quiet street (in Tossa they are many calm and quiet), a 10-minute walk to the Gran municipal beach with a gorgeous view of the Castle.

The location of the hotel is very good: on a quiet street (in Tossa they are many calm and quiet), a 10-minute walk to the Gran municipal beach with a gorgeous view of the Castle. On the way to the sea, in addition to hotels and cafes, there is a supermarket "Сoprabo", where you can buy fruits, water, wine, jamon, yoghurts and hygiene items. You can pay at the checkout either in cash or by credit card. Cashless payment (on your request) is used by many shops and souvenir shops.
Let's return to the hotel "Sa Riera". At the reception, guests are greeted by charming blond Spanish women who speak excellent English. I was settled earlier than the set time (check-in 14:00) - at about 10 am, as soon as I arrived. The hotel has an elevator. The rooms are opened with card keys. The tourist tax is provided for by laws and amounts to 1 euro per night per person.
I really liked the room - everything I wanted: quite spacious, bright, with a balcony and all amenities in perfect condition (floor, tiles on the wall, shower room, plumbing, hair dryer, TV). The refrigerator and safe are opened for a surcharge, so the rating is 9. Everything else is just gorgeous: daily cleaning, change of towels, mini-cosmetics, incl. shower gel and shampoo in the shower room, air conditioning system, etc. ). I took half board and I liked everything. It is strange that the previous guest wrote that he was tired of scrambled eggs on the sixth morning. You could just take a different set: all kinds of cheeses, including blue cheese (noble! ), sausages and sausages, vegetables, olives, cereals of various types with milk, toasts, various pastries, coffee, tea, marmalade, juices, fruits. Dinner is also wonderful, especially when seafood was served: mussels, shrimp, fish, octopuses, deep-fried crab meat on a claw. Unfortunately, all drinks for dinner have to be paid for, but this is such a world standard. Only smoothies in small cups stood on the common table. The food is fresh, it is enough, the choice is large.
The hotel has a system of "late check-out" until 18:00, and then things can be left in a room on the ground floor and located on the territory of the hotel, the pool. By the way, the pool is small, but 10 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea is not essential.
Wi-Fi is excellent throughout the hotel. At the reception, the girls are always ready to answer all your questions, give you an iron, a lunch box, a new key card if you slammed yours in the room.
I recommend. Good hotel. Muchas gracias.

I did not like the hotel, the only plus is a good location, in the center and not far from the sea. The balcony overlooked a neighboring residential building with filthy balconies of local residents, we used it only for drying towels. The breakfast is monotonous, on the sixth morning they howled from scrambled eggs, the cleaning was disgusting, upon arrival dark long hairs were found in the bed and in the shower, the label from the swimsuit lay under the beds until the very departure.

You can find cheaper hotels with about the same service. I do not recommend.
