Location. Far from the sea, but there is a shuttle to the beach (even more often than indicated). A big plus - there is a forest nearby and few people. Also nearby is a hiking trail to the neighboring mountain, where you can watch the sunrise.
Rooms. Our room was extremely spacious and was cleaned every day. TV is tiny and with an abundance of Russian channels. You can smoke on the balcony, although the travel agent assured you that you can't.
Service. Ideal.
WIFI. Free only in the lobby. In the rooms for a fee (3 euros per day FOR 1 DEVICE! ). Can't connect 2 phones at the same time. We bought Turkcell SIM cards and did not suffer.
Rooms - chic rooms - apartments with a bedroom, a living room with a sofa and a kitchen. Very cool that they give 2 keys to the room. I have never seen such numbers. The whole set of dishes, pots, stove, refrigerator. If the food is not all inclusive, you can cook for yourself.
Please note that almost all rooms with 1 large bed. We needed 2 beds, in the end they gave a room with 2 beds, but without a terrace.
The food is perfect. Not much, but very tasty, everything is there. Every evening - grilled meat or fish and vegetables, where the chef cooks perfectly. In addition, there are always 2 types of meat or meat and fish, salads, side dishes, fruits. Water is given to the room 1 time, then you collect it in the kitchen from the cooler. Bar - standard, did not really like that plastic cups.
Nice pool, there is a pool for children. There are enough sun loungers, almost no one occupied them. For children there is a playground.
Buildings with rooms on 4 floors, there is an elevator.
The rooms were cleaned every day. Towels were changed every 3rd day.
There are beach towels.
The biggest drawback of this hotel is the distance to the beach. It seems to go about 20 minutes on foot, but in such heat it was unbearable. There is a bus schedule to the beach that runs quite often.
In general, if you are not afraid of the distance from the beach - choose the ideal hotel.
From the hotel there is a shuttle service to two beaches, one at the very end of Kemer, the second is approximately in the middle of the beach line, the second is better. Sun loungers on the beaches are free of charge, beach towels are provided. To the nearest beach without transportation 15 minutes walk at a brisk pace, 20 at a leisurely pace. But I chose a hotel in this particular place, because in Kemer most hotels are located along the main street, and if the windows overlook it, then it will not be possible to sleep with the windows open because of the cars that drive all night. And this place is quiet.
The food is quite simple, but not boring, not repeated, the chefs alternate dishes, everything is fresh and tasty. I describe in detail, since no one specifically mentions in the comments, and for me, food is an important criterion for choosing a hotel, since I have a special diet. Each time there was something to my taste and needs. The choice of hot, as a rule, two types of meat, two types of vegetables and a side dish. Side dishes include rice, pasta, bulgur, fries, occasionally stewed potatoes or mashed potatoes. Meat - chicken, different parts, turkey and traditional Turkish kefte cutlets or variations on their theme (this is not soy, often in reviews they write that soy cutlets). From stewed vegetables alone or together with meat - peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus beans, mushrooms.
Cold salads and vegetables are plentiful. Fruit with every meal - watermelon, melon, grapes, plums, peaches, local exceptionally sweet orange, grapefruit, the choice is definitely better than in other triplets, where fruits are rare. There are desserts, too, a few to choose from. Grill every evening, the grill is not successful every time, in my opinion the cook dries out, but sometimes it turns out. There was also a sea bream and a mackerel. Once there were boiled crayfish, so the Russians pounced on them as if they had never seen them before and would not see the same number again. Food in sufficient quantities at any time as indicated in the schedule, there is no such thing as in other triplets that he came half an hour before the end of dinner, and they had already eaten everything before you.
You can drink alcohol at the bar, but without much pleasure, if you are a connoisseur, then it will not work. But let's say in another hotel I didn't drink local alcohol at all, but nothing here.
Another plus - the music does not rattle and is of good quality, it does not bother.
I liked the performance on the Turkish night, the musicians sang and belly dance. We watched belly dancing in a hotel on the first line, in our hotel it was definitely better.
The staff is friendly, helpful, ready to help on any issue.
There are only two drawbacks: there is paid Wi-Fi in the room and its cost bites, and the hotel rests, mostly Russians, who behave impudently defiantly, but their mentality, of course, does not depend on the hotel. However, there were no nightly concerts.
We expected absolutely nothing from a 3* hotel for 850 euros for a week, but we were very surprised by the quality of the services provided.
Rooms: we got a room on the top floor (there is an elevator) overlooking the street. The street is not central, so it is very quiet there. The room has 2 rooms - a bedroom and a living room. There is a corner sofa in the living room where the child slept.
There is a fully equipped mini kitchen: refrigerator, microwave and electric ovens, a full set of utensils for cooking and eating. The bathroom has a spacious shower.
Everywhere is clean. Cleaning was done daily. Bed linen and towels were changed every day.
Restaurant: due to the pandemic, you can’t take food on your own, for this there is a staff in masks, gloves and hats. Cleanliness everywhere, tablecloths changed after each meal, all consumables (sugar, spices, tea stirring sticks, ketchup, mayonnaise) in individual packages. Everywhere sanitizers and markings.
The food is almost non-stop. Breakfast 7:30 - 11:00, lunch 12:00 - 14:00, snack 15:00 - 17:00, dinner 19:00 - 21:00, ice cream was served from 16:30 to 17:00))
Everything is delicious, but some dishes are spicy.
There are 2 beaches near the hotel: pebbles and shell rock (declared as sandy).
We liked the pebble one more. It is closer and the water is cleaner.
There is a free shuttle service to the beaches from the hotel throughout the day. If you walk to the pebble beach - 15 minutes at a slow pace.
Beach towels are free.
Special thanks to the staff for the warm welcome and good service.
When compared with hotels under 300 euros per tour, this one is clearly better than the rest of what was compared. There's just nothing to complain about.
Pros:
1) a huge room with a kitchen;
2) good internet at the reception, there was almost no internet in the room;
3) everything works in the rooms;
4) employees are pleasant;
5) food at a good 5 * level, especially for covid times;
6) to the center of Kemer 5 minutes on foot;
7) the hotel has its own beach from the partner Viking, i. e. sunbeds everything else is free, the beach is excellent and clean;
8) the rooms are clean, cleaning every day, even though it is an apartment hotel.
Minuses:
it takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the beach along pleasant streets, but for many it is far away, there are transfers to the beach and they go according to occupancy (free of charge).
If we compare 5 * Viking Star and our Viking Suite (Apart), then ours turned out to be cozier and more convenient. The service is excellent. In the restaurant and at the reception, nice girls and guys are always smiling and friendly. There were almost no queues at the bar and at the restaurant (we rested in October). The food is varied, there were no complaints about the quality.
The location is convenient: 10 minutes walk to the center, 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. They take you to the beach by car, there were no queues. The beach is excellent - small pebbles. Loungers enough (free of charge). Towels are free. On the beach, food, drinks for a fee in a cafe.
No one was allowed to bring water with them. I recommend the hotel.
Happy travels everyone!
