The territory is large, quite green. 2 hotels 4 and 5 are connected. So there is a place to walk and take pictures. There are 2 heated pools: adult and children's with slides.
The rooms are spacious and bright. The room has a refrigerator, TV, kettle with coffee set, hair dryer.
Very good food. Especially dinner. Always grill. Always some exclusive dish that will not be repeated within a week. Sometimes they had themed dinners: Mexican cuisine, Indian, Italian... There were beef, chicken, partridge, lamb, crabs, squid, various fish... But the main thing was that somehow they managed to make sure that there were never any queues!
Very good animation! There is always something going on during the day: games, competitions, yoga, water aerobics.... And even if you don't participate in it, in general it creates a very pleasant relaxing atmosphere in the hotel. In the evening entertainment show from 21 to 22.
Sea. The hotel has a pontoon of 800 meters. many write it down as a disadvantage. For me it was a great place to walk and take pictures. The reef is beautiful.
The beach is sandy and large. There is enough space for everyone. Theoretically, you can enter the water from the shore. But there is the tide, then the tide... And where yesterday you were waist-deep, today you are ankle-deep. Plus cold water and wind. In general, we either swam from the pontoon along the reef or in the pool.
Disadvantages. Internet is paid. $20 per person per week. But it is also very unstable. In the room we had internet only 2 days out of 7. Best of all at the reception and by the pool.
Large area, three large pools, warm water, cool water park.
Food at a fairly high level. Fish, meat dishes, peppers, fruits. The bar on the beach is no less impressive - delicious.
Personnel. Friendly and kind, I can't say that they were waiting for a dollar for any help.
Be prepared that you will have to speak English almost everywhere to solve any problem.
Wi-fi works very poorly.
A good hotel for a family vacation.
The beach is good, sunbeds, umbrellas are free, I liked the fences (both from the wind and prying eyes). The pontoon is long, but the beauty of the underwater world is worth it. A gentle entry into the sea is present. Loved the snack bar on the beach. The snacks are delicious (pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, etc. ). Many dined right here, bypassing lunch at the restaurant. Special thanks to daytime and evening animation. Everything was interesting, sporty, bright. Disco trips to a nearby hotel were also organized. Lilya, the animator, is very friendly, attentive, will help and tell you if you have any questions. Also liked the animator Danya. In general, all the guys tried. Here is a solid five. At a late check-out they give dry rations (also if you are going on an excursion to Luxor). We recommend this hotel for families.
.
FOR CLEANING MONEY DO NOT GIVE CATEGORICALLY!! ! THE FIRST DAYS GIVED $ 5 - AS EVERYTHING WAS DIRTY, IT REMAINED, FOR THIS MONEY I ONLY MADE A DIRT BED AND TOWELS ALSO CONTINUED TO BE GIVEN AFTER 5 EVENING! We arrived early in the morning, settled us at 14:00, despite the fact that the hotel was half empty, we specially waited until we paid for an early check-in, we didn’t pay in principle... we were settled in unmade rooms with dirty bedding in the literal sense! Had to go pay $50 to be moved to a cleaned room! Here they will purposefully do everything so that you pay for what is already included in the price !!!
The food is the same as everywhere else, only I see such dirty dishes for the first time, the plates stick to my hands! The staff speaks only Arabic until you give money, then they begin to understand both English and Russian... The pools are dead, one is warm, the rest are icy, the slides work by the hour, in the morning and afternoon. NOT A HOTEL, BUT A STINKY, DIRTY HOSTEL FOR $1500 PER WEEK!! !
Arriving at the hotel, we saw a group of German tourists near the reception desk, who arrived a little earlier than us. The guide who accompanied us put our passports at the check-in desk and left after saying something to the hotel staff. A guy and a girl of 20 years old came with us. The four of us began to wait for someone to pay attention to us. The Germans were settled quickly, we continued to stand, periodically reminding us of ourselves. Finally, we were given an envelope with the room number, as it turned out, we and the young couple who came with us had the same room number - 2845. When we asked why, they answered us. What do not worry, they say, these are different rooms, just adjacent.
Ahmed escorted us to the room, ran 500 meters after him with suitcases, we went into the room and were simply shocked to see that it was a two-room suite, with one large bed, a balcony, overlooking the sea, a bathroom and a toilet in one room, which was a walk-through room, and with two small beds in the second small room, which did not have a window.
Almost in a stupor, we asked Akhmet: “What is this? » He began to run around the room, open the curtains on the window, show a view of the sea and say: “Look, you will like it, but you will have free Wi-Fi. ” Naturally, we did not agree, saying that we had booked and paid for the Room Superior Gardenview, which in Russian means “superior room with a view of the garden”, and you are trying to put us in a communal apartment. Ahmet said, "But you are family. " We answered him that we are not a family, that we do not know each other with these young people.
After that, the four of us went to the reception, and Akhmet disappeared somewhere.
Arriving at the reception, we began to demand separate rooms, proving that we booked and paid for something completely different, in contrast to what they are trying to impose on us. They figured out something among themselves for a long time, they understand Russian very poorly, and accordingly they speak the same way. Finally, having given us with a friend and a young couple envelopes with the cherished keys to the rooms, taking our suitcases, we were taken to our rooms by two people from the reception, Akhmet was not observed on the horizon. On the way to the room, I realized that we were being taken away from the territory of the Royal Tolip Beach Resort 5 * hotel and taken to the Magic Tulip Beach Resort @ Spa 4 * hotel. When I asked if they were taking us to the top four, our guides assured us that no, this was a tulip resort, five.
Arriving in our room (607), we saw a sad picture. The room is dark, consisting of a large room divided by a wooden partition with a door.
In the first half there were two small beds, a TV with a cabinet, in the second half there was one double bed and also a TV with a cabinet. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. The door in the bathroom was swollen from the bottom with water and closed very poorly. Bed linen in spools, thoroughly washed, grayish in color. Two pillows are flat as pancakes, smelly. The blanket was also never washed, apparently, and it stank so much that it was impossible to sleep under it. The lighting in the room was such that we could not see what was in our suitcase. Having run to the reception, we found out that tomorrow we will be provided with normal rooms at 12 o'clock. Since we spent 17 hours on the road, we only had the strength to spend the night where they took us. The front door of our room overlooked the backyard of the hotel, there were quarters for staff and the screams and laughter of the Arabs were heard from there all night.
A young couple who came with us received a room next to us (608) and was also going to go to the reception for a new number the next morning.
The next day we learned that the young people had already received a room in the second building on the second floor and were satisfied with this number. Approaching the reception desk, seeing Akhmet there, we approached him and began to find out why we were given a room that did not correspond to the one we paid and booked, and even in a hotel lower by one star. Nerves couldn't take it anymore. He handed us an envelope with the key to room 3121 and told us to go and see this room. Arriving at room 3121, we saw a small room with one large bed. The window of the room overlooked the desert. Since we had booked a room with two separate beds, we went back to the reception. It was raining heavily outside and we got our feet wet. They came already very angry. Gave the keys to the manager. We went back to our 607 room.
After an hour, we decided to go to the reception and change the smelly pillows, where we were handed the keys to room 2407. A day of our wanderings around the rooms passed. The start of the holiday was hopelessly ruined. We received no apology from the hotel and no compensation.
The room was located on the first floor, a window to the pool, with one large bed, instead of a second full bed, they brought us a cot. The TV remote did not work, there was no strength left to sort things out, and we turned the TV on and off for the rest of the days manually. The bed linen was also in spools and grayish in color, which we never changed in 9 nights. And this is a five star hotel! Horror!! ! The food in the restaurant is not a fountain. They don't know how to cook meat - it's tough. An abundance of flies everywhere. In a restaurant, on the beach, by the pool. They simply do not give rest anywhere for one minute. On the beach, the sand is like asphalt, hard.
We made all our purchases from him, basically, we became very friends with him. There is also a shop near the pool. The seller knows Russian. Near the beach there are shops with papyri, camel wool carpets, figurines and so on. Near the beach they sell mangoes and pomegranates. Freshly squeezed strawberry and mango juices ($3) are served on the beach.
On the way back at the Hurghada airport, our luggage was inspected and we were groped several times. Such security measures, of course, please. But, I would like the Egyptian employees to treat us like human beings, and not like prisoners in a concentration camp. I was forced to take off my glasses and put them on the conveyor for screening. My request to give me a container was refused in a rude manner. As a result, I was driven to hysterics with tears, as a mountain of suitcases began to run into my glasses, which filled up and crushed them, I don’t know how they remained intact as a result.
I can't see anything without glasses, my request to stop the transporter was ignored. I was helped to cope with the search for glasses by a man standing in line next to me. Otherwise, I would be left without them. The passport was also thrown onto the conveyor, as a result of movement, it fell down, the bag with my things was torn, things fell out on the floor, there was noise, screams and screams all around.
I have never experienced such horror, although I have traveled every year since 1982. For a long time I could not calm down and calm my tears. A week has passed, and I remember all this horror at the airport and, apparently, I will not forget it soon. The flight was delayed for an hour without explanation and without announcing the departure time. On the way back they offered water, hot meals (for a fee), which was very helpful. That was the journey. Six years of waiting for the "discovery" of Egypt and such a disappointment!! ! Russians are not welcome there.
A "very" cool manager came and figuratively sent us, I tried to find a different boss besides this beast (because something superior to which he plunged us and how he behaved, in relation to us, you can’t call it otherwise) then it began circus, they give me a phone, supposedly the manager, and in the end it turns out to be our guide (who threw us, calling him and explaining our situation, we agreed that he would come to us) when I asked him, realizing that this is not the manager, this is not the case for the guide who we called and waited for about an hour, as a result, after the last call of us to him, he simply said that he would not come)? He simply answered - yes... At the same time, he pretended to be a great boss, I told him to roll a complaint, he just smirked and made it clear that he didn’t care... (I personally never saw him during my stay).
Then we were lucky and the translator Daria came to us and helped us a lot with the translation and offers of the hotel and another wonderful guide (I forgot her name) who didn’t even supervise us, but helped us as much as he could... during our attempts to check in, more arrived people, I repeatedly podzodil and asked to settle us in at least one building and perhaps the people who are settled after us, you can change or I could talk to myself, to which we were told the wrong thing - no, there are no rooms, I’m occupied by 105-110% I was shocked and did not understand how this was possible, people were settled in a nearby hotel 4-ku and were not even warned (we had such a case). After 4 hours of persuasion, we were offered an option, 50 € for each room per week (we flew 11 + 1) almost 200 € overpayment (it was clear that we had no choice, we had to go either to one room or to 2 different ones (which looked at desert, so that they would not think that they were overlooking the pool or the sea) buildings because it was very disappointing to pay them such money, especially after 4 hours of the war, they chose 2 in different ones.
True, they promised us, maybe tomorrow, something will work out with at least one number to solve something... but to imagine what awaited us in the building and my indignation knew no bounds, we were settled in # 3119 by people who arrived after us and together with us they settled in #3117. . . I didn’t have the strength to decide and find out anything more with them, we lost half a day of rest and nerves (I forgot to say that we were also offered to contact our tour operator and that we would be overpowered in another hotel). . . the reception area sucks, led by the impudent muzzle of the manager, who made it clear who the owner is, but in front of the Germans and other foreigners they were sooo stylish. . .
For the rest: the food is very decent (the staff, except for the bar in the restaurant, are just smart, they don’t divide by nation, which can’t be said about the bartenders who manage alcohol)... the rooms were cleaned well, our girls even wrote a farewell note about a safe trip and decorated , just chic (it was very nice)... the sea agrees with other reviews, ebb and flow, but it was not difficult to walk along the pontoon, dolphins swam with us (very close) three times... the sea is super (warmer than aground) . I can sum up only one thing: they don’t like Russian speakers there, oh, they don’t like...
A room with a balcony overlooking the pool, a side sea view, as it was written in the reviews earlier, there are all rooms one way or another with a view, at least side, of the sea. The room has a tea set for 2 persons. In the shower there is a mini-set of cosmetics. The room is cleaned daily, as in all hotels with the change of towels. There is one caveat, they give only one bottle of water 1.5 liters in the room. At our request, bring two, because. we have 4 people, reacted, brought 2 each until the shift changed. The last 2 days they brought one at a time, but we no longer went to the reception and found out. We were fine. Water can be taken in glasses at the bar from 10:00 to 17:00 if desired. Or during breakfasts, lunches and dinners in a restaurant, type in a bottle. The cleaning of the room was carried out well, the floors were washed everywhere, and on the balcony, incl.
As for the wifi, for some reason we didn't understand, we were only given 3 wifi passwords the morning after checking in. When asked that we have 4 people, they answered that the password is given only for adults registered in the room. You can't share from your phone. The food at the hotel is ordinary, normal, there is everything, like everywhere else. I would say budget 4+. As for alcohol, there are red and white wine, bottled beer, cola, water, yupi juices. Coffee machines. Service is great, customer service is great. At the time when we were there, there were not many Ukrainians, the main part was Poles, there were also Czechs, Arabs and a few other nationalities.
The animation at the hotel is wonderful, 8 people. guys are trying. Well done.
Well, and most importantly, the sea. Here, as they say, a double-edged sword. A very long pontoon, 800 meters, it takes 10-15 minutes to walk along it. But the reef is beautiful, very, well, just a lot of fish, all kinds. We saw once passing dolphins, stingrays, also lionfish, and a lot of other fish that are different in size, both large and small and very small and very large. Corals are not needed. Very big minus, ebb and flow! The entrance to the sea is sandy, and along the entire length to the pontoon the sea is ankle-deep, and at the time of low tide, it does not exist at all from the word at all. Just sand, the sea goes to the pontoon. After lunch, the sea returns and the little children are fine, but for adults there is not enough water. The hotel has a water park where you can spend time while there is no sea. Nearby on the same territory is the Magic Tulip 4 * hotel, and so, they can use the territory, the water park, the Royal bars.
In summing up, I can say that we liked the rest, we are satisfied. When asked if we would like to return there again, I will say this, no, because we don’t like to rest in the same hotel twice, and the 2nd reason is a very long pontoon, although an insanely beautiful reef.
Upon arrival, he immediately said that everything in this resort is for Europeans. For our tourist Sharm and Hurghada. Then he demanded to sign documents that we would not leave the hotel. This is because we did not want to take tours from him.
But most importantly, we were NOT PICKED UP from the hotel. We were 11 minutes late. They said that you need to take the transfer yourself at your own expense ($15). There was enough time, then we sat at the airport for 3 hours waiting for the flight.
About the hotel: the rooms are tired, the service is good, the food is good. You have to walk along the pier to the sea for about 10-15 minutes (hot in summer). The reef is good (we saw a turtle).
Would I return to this hotel - no.
The territory of the hotel is connected to the neighboring 4, you can freely walk and swim, and even eat here and there, so there is enough space to walk around, very beautiful palm trees and trees, mowed lawns, super. In the evening, when you walk, it feels like you are walking along small Arab streets.
Sea: there is almost always a breeze and waves, but you can dive and swim without problems, very salty AND WARM sea, it is MANDATORY to take a mask, a beautiful reef. The bridge to the reef is 800 meters long, but walking is not a problem.
In the evening, the animators entertain children and adults are not bored. Wi-Fi free for 7 days connect at the reception password and entrance, I caught it well even in the room. When we flew home at 5 in the morning, they gave us lunch boxes for the road.
We will be happy to return here again.
I liked the food very much. Two heads higher than in Sharma's budget fives. Beef, chicken, duck, tuna, crabs, different fish, everything is cooked very tasty (there is something to compare with). Snack on the beach is a separate issue. Pizza, shawarma, different rolls - this is something. I've been to dinner two or three times only, dined there. The bartenders and chefs are very positive, they try. Animation is present and very interesting. The territory is well-groomed and green (especially the four). The pools are clean and there is a water park. The rooms are not very worn out (compared to Charm as new). Only traders on the territory of the hotel are embarrassed, they break exorbitant prices and are cunning, watch what kind of change they give you and what, but they have nothing to do with the hotel.
Conclusion: after Sharm, the hotel is super, but don't expect lobsters and oysters with Chivas for the money. By the way, be sure to go to the A la carte restaurant!
