The adventure didn't end there. The room was ordered 2 rooms (3 adults and 2 children). Arranged in advance for an extra bed. Initially, we were talking about a folding bed with a mattress, instead of which we were offered to fold a blanket in half and put it instead of the agreed mattress.
Then there is the problem with the air conditioners. He was only in one of the rooms.
In the room where he was absent, there was also no mosquito net on the window. That is, we have a choice either to sleep in a stuffy room or to be bitten by mosquitoes. (and there are a lot of mosquitoes, the daughter woke up in the morning with a swollen lip as a result of a bite).
The refrigerator (which did not have a freezer) on the second day began to stink terribly. Of course, they quickly agreed to wash it, but this did not really improve the situation, the very next day the smell began to reappear. Most likely, the next guests were in for the same surprise.
There is no kettle in the room, it is 1 for all rooms, and food prices are the same as in Kiev restaurants.
The pool, (despite the backlight) can only be used from 7 am to 7 pm, after this time, the water was supposedly purified, which, by the way, was not noticeable, it is clear that no one filters the water.
Separately, I would like to note the situation with the dog. Before booking, a question was asked about the possibility of staying with a small dog (Pomeranian). To which we were given a positive answer, but for a fee.
At the same time, they were not allowed to sit with the dog near the pool (on the path, not even on the lawn).
When one day the hostess found out that we were going to go for a walk in Odessa, we heard the question "Well, I hope you take the dog with you. "
What was paid for when the presence of the animal was stipulated is not clear.
We definitely do not recommend Villa Angel, the price does not match the quality at all.
It's a long way to go to the sea. First you need to cross a rather busy road (before our eyes, people with children were almost knocked down), then, for 5-7 minutes, walk along the fences and, at the end, a long descent down to the beach (and on the way back, respectively, a long climb).
You can buy drinks on the beach (water, beer) either at the beach restaurant of the Black Sea Hotel at not very humane prices, or from beach vendors (beer). Or carry everything with you.
It is not possible to rent sun loungers on the beach.
On the territory: on the territory of the villa there is a nice swimming pool, with a paddling pool for children. The water is clean. There is a small playground. Also, right behind the fence there is a brazier where you can make a barbecue. The brazier itself is free, but you have to pay for the grill and skewers. Parking on the territory of the villa is somewhat specific: only 3 cars fit in the yard (in single file, one after another. And if you are not standing near the gate and you need to urgently leave, then this can become a problem), the rest are parked along the road.
In the room: the hostess tries very hard to make you comfortable. But the rooms are tired (the plaster cracks and falls off, sockets fall out, drains clog). Since the electricians and plumbers invited for repair did everything somehow (this is not the fault of the hostess, it’s just such “specialists”), after their “repair” I had to do everything ourselves (repair the outlet and break through the drain).
Shops and the market are quite far away (you need to go to Karolino Bugaz). But there is a stall nearby, where you can buy almost everything you need. And in the mornings, the uncle drives a car with berries, vegetables, fruits.
Summary: if you are looking for a relaxed beach holiday and entertainment, then this is not the place. More like a holiday village than a resort.
Service is also there, I will not say that it is perfect, but so confident. The territory is equipped, not far from the sea, in other words, the location is not bad!
I liked the rest, since the children are small, they specifically specified whether it would be possible to cook or warm up food. There were no problems with this.
The rooms are well maintained, there is a shower in each room, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning.
The hotel has a playground and swimming pool. There are also several playgrounds on the beach. The beach is just super, clean, you can see the sand here is regularly cleaned or changed. The sea is warm and calm, even the kids were comfortable splashing around.
We also went to Odessa. We arrived by car, so there were no problems, in general it is convenient to leave from here in almost any direction. For cars there is a parking lot with a canopy. Rest were satisfied.
Liked the hotel. Cosy, tidy, friendly staff. The room is comfortable, has air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, shower-toilet.
The territory of the hotel is also beautiful. There is also a gazebo, a cafe, a large swimming pool, a playground.
The hotel is on the outskirts of Gribovka, so it is quiet here even in the evening, there are no noisy nightclubs nearby. If you're traveling with kids, it's pretty good.
Teepr about the beach. The beach has sports and playgrounds, clean sand, easy access to the sea for children.
From the hotel you can easily get to Odessa or other places.
Rest were satisfied.
I contacted the booking support service, because if I did not arrive at the hotel, they could charge me the full cost of the stay, since the reservation was confirmed, and I did not check into the hotel. Booking staff contacted the hotel and confirmed that I was not expected there. Booking offered me another accommodation option that did not suit me.
Extremely dishonest attitude to the client, I do not recommend this hotel.
On the territory of the hotel there is a small gazebo where you can gather with a company and have fun, as well as fry kebabs on the grill, which is available to everyone. Also in Gribovka there is an Luna Park, where you can find entertainment for any age: from the most harmless rides to the most extreme ones. When. The daughter was very pleased. We also enjoyed our holiday very much.
