We rested with a family with a small child in May 2018 for 10 days. We chose the place of rest very carefully, starting from November 2017, every day... at work, at home, everywhere)) In principle, we gathered in the Carpathians for the first time and, of course, did not know what to expect from this holiday.

In general, we chose the "Stara hut" based on the reviews, there are really not many of them, but mostly good . . We talked with the owner Pan Vasily many times, asked a lot of questions... each time we received detailed answers, each time the communication was very pleasant...
We arrived in Volovets, where we were met by the son of Pan Vasily Ruslan . . a very pleasant young man, while we were driving, he talked about the sights of this area... Arriving in Pylypets at the "Stara Khata" we were warmly greeted by the hostess Lyudmila, immediately settled and fed))
The room is simply gorgeous. . . a log house. . . smells of wood. . . all wooden furniture. . . up to homemade chandeliers, lamps, mirrors and other things. Our room was located in a house on a hill, the view from there was simply gorgeous!! ! The room is clean, comfortable . . next to the kitchen with everything you need . . just all their wood.
We ate in the dining room . . the wonderful cook Pani Bogdana cooked... everything was very tasty, the portions were huge... There was never a time when we didn’t take food with us . . My husband, an athlete, was always full.
In the sadib "Stara Khata" there is a bicycle rental, which is very convenient.
We went many times to the Shipot waterfall on bicycles, it takes about 20 minutes to get to it. Also in 20 minutes from the estate "Stara hut" there are ski lifts to Mount Gimba.
Pan Vasil took us on an excursion to Lake Synevyr and the Brown Bear Rehabilitation Center. The tour is very interesting, Pan Vasil is a very good guide!!!
In general, we all really liked it . . Very pleasant and friendly people... To be honest, I have never met such people... We said goodbye, like with relatives . . and did not want to leave. We still keep in touch via viber.

We sincerely thank Vasily and his wife Lyudmila for a wonderful vacation, a warm welcome, excellent cuisine and wonderful conditions! We lived in the upper house and occupied the first floor. The house is environmentally friendly and built by the owner himself! Whoever is going to the Carpathians - I highly recommend staying at Vasya's - you will be met from the train / taken to the station, taken to the house, taken to the ski lifts (which, by the way, are within walking distance! ).

We rested in Pylypets at the end of September 2017. The private estate Stara Hata is very well located - from the side of the ski lifts and the Shypit waterfall, and behind the house there is a mountain with a forest where you can go for mushroom walks. We lived in an upper log house with a beautiful view of the mountains.

We lived in an upper log house with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room is small but very comfortable, everything is very clean, well maintained and made with love. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with everything you need for self-catering. But we only drank tea there in the evenings, and ordered food from the owners. The food was very tasty and satisfying, huge portions of homemade food, delicious pastries, homemade cheese. All freshly prepared, only from the stove - and on the table. In general, we are very happy that we stayed in this place, very kind and hospitable hosts, great place and delicious food! Thank you very much for the warm welcome and unforgettable vacation in Transcarpathia to the owners of Staraya Khata - Vasily and Lyudmila! We highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Choose from a variety of options and agreed on this because of the price and quality. And they didn't fail. Very good living conditions, everything in the house is made of wood. Meals - varied and very large portions (some of the food was taken with them to the house). And most importantly - they are good responsive hosts.

Rested with 8 adults and 2 children in the upper cottage in August 2017. Settled very comfortably, we also had the kitchen of the cottage, ate in the dining room downstairs - very tasty and inexpensive, Mrs. Lyudmila and Bogdan try very hard, it feels like cheese and lard are extraordinary ! ! ! ! ! ! Vasily provides transfers and excursions, interesting stories; -) I really liked it, we recommend it! ! ! ! !.

The living conditions are wonderful, everything is clean, tidy, everything you need is there. Hot water was running smoothly, the only thing is that it gives off a little hydrogen sulfide. The owner brought drinking water from a well. Meals (breakfast and dinner) are generally above any basement, homemade products, everything is cooked cleanly and with love. The portions are simply huge. The hostess Lyudmila cooked everything to order, taking into account all the wishes. The area is very neat, 2 swings, 3 pavilions and another pavilion on a hill with amazing views.
The hosts organize excursions, you can buy homemade products. In general, with pleasure I recommend Stara hut in the village of Pylypets in Transcarpathia!
