2. Food: meat was given only once during the stay, and all other days were either fried chicken, or the same chicken in a salad, or fried fish or the same fish in a salad, for the economic savings on food. Food is not for the money and not for those people.
For example, on a skinny morning there are boiled eggs or scrambled eggs, or for example dinner - french fries and pasta (something with the wrong imagination).
3. There were no discos, for example, in the nearest hotels, and children have nothing to do in the hotel, except to fight in the pool, well, except for fans to sing after the local alcohol in karaoke, boredom! ! ! !!
4. Check-in after 16, probably, should take place without problems, and no - wait an hour, even if you have small children.
5. BEACH! ! ! ! ! This is a separate story, it is free, but where it is located - money and the "brotherhood of Turks" decides more.
That is, you can come, there will be no place, because either they gave money for them and look for yourself, or as an option they can sunbathe on bar stools.
In general, some pzdts ...
Apparently, the only thing that pleased - a very nice staff and tidy rooms.
6. Cooking lunch on the road was very wonderful and multifaceted (apple, bun with cheese and tomato and a small piece of baking). Especially if you leave the hotel at 2 am and the nearest food is the waiting room, as for me it's a little small.
Weigh the pros and cons before choosing this hotel!
So you choose! ! ! ! !
The beach itself is located 600 m from the hotel (there is a transfer from 10:00 to 16:00 every hour), the beach is sandy, the entry into the sea is large pebbles, but there are bridges, it is located in a picturesque bay, on the right is a wild beach from an abandoned hotel, on the left observation deck on the panorama of Kemer. Of the shortcomings, arrogant cafe workers drive them from good places and beds to 3-4 rows, but if you are impudent, you can fight back. Wifi on the beach is weak.
Let's go back to the hotel, we were there at the height of the season, there are no complaints about food (unlike previous reviews), there was enough food for everyone: breakfasts of the same type (cheeses, omelettes, sausages, sausages, muesli, greens, vegetables) lunches and dinners are tastier, fish (mackerel, sea bream, river trout) grilled chicken and incomprehensible meat, liver, nuggets, burgers, ice cream, sweets, fruits, shrimp, crabs were not ((On the day of departure they asked for a lunchbox, in the evening we were promised to do it, and at night when we left They said they don't have this service.
The main disadvantage is paid wi-fi in the rooms and at the reception 3€/day, 15€/week. Internet speed is bad, it's easier to buy a local SIM card for $25
We chose this hotel because of its favorable location, because we planned to rent a car and go on excursions, so we only ate and spent the night at the hotel.
Not noisy in the evening, animation 2-3 times a week, lights out at 23:00. The staff is responsive, they understand Russian, the rooms are clean. Recommend.
In terms of nutrition - everything is poor and tasteless!
Is it worth saying that the beach is in the middle of nowhere?
The room they gave us was amazing! Stupidly blank wall and a pile of garbage! Smell of sewerage and g. . . vna. Video attached!
Compared to last year, there have been some changes in the hotel and we noticed them from the first day of our stay. Of course, in a pandemic, all the dishes were behind glass partitions and the kitchen workers put it on your plates. The choice of dishes was quite large, every day there was fish, different salads, very tasty soups and meat dishes. Of course, due to the fact that we fell under the end of the season, the number of dishes decreased slightly every day, and the menu was also often repeated. But you won't leave hungry anyway.
This year we were pleasantly surprised by the appearance of an upper terrace for events, as well as a DJ who regularly invited us to a disco tour and played great music in the hotel. I want to tell you a little about the beach: this year the hotel's beach was combined with the beach of the Sultan Beach cafe. There were simple single sunbeds for free for hotel guests, and comfortable double sunbeds were paid. And of course, because of this, the beach bar became paid. Well, as always, the atmosphere of relaxation is created by the hotel staff. Thanks guys for a great job!
Were in the hotel with a young man from 8 to 14 October 2020.
The STAFF at the hotel is friendly and helpful, which cannot be said about the employees of the Sultan hotel beach. On the first day they put us on a double sunbed, the next day they said that now it costs five dollars a day. In the beach hotel cafe Sultan, I ordered pasta carbonara, they brought Bolognese (the cost of the first is more expensive than the second). The check was brought with the price of carbonara.
On another day, she asked for a bottle of cola, which cost $1.50. They gave 2 Turkish liras from my 2 dollars in change. A trifle, but still disgusting : (
It’s really not far to go from the hotel to the beach, the downside was that along the whole way there is a very unpleasant smell from open garbage containers heated by the sun, of which there are plenty.
ABOUT THE ROOM, unfortunately, I can not say anything good. Since the hotel itself is small (the doors of the rooms face the inside of the hotel, i. e. to the bar, pool, restaurant and reception at the same time), the music in the evenings was hammering from both sides, so it was impossible to fall asleep until it was turned off.
We told the travel agency in advance that we needed a room with a double bed. We ended up staying in a standard room and sleeping in twin beds pushed together for a week. Unpleasant.
The beds themselves are sooo hard (my back reminded me of this every morning) and somehow short. With my height of 175 cm, it was impossible to sleep like a soldier, my legs hung from the bed. Again unpleasant. By the way, they have no blankets, only bedspreads. As a person accustomed to sleeping not under a thin sheet, this made me sad.
Cabinets, drawers, bedside tables, doors - everything creaked terribly when opened and closed, so getting ready and leaving the room without waking up the person living with you is unrealistic.
The shower is a different story. I did not want to touch it once again, since the entire shower stall, like the shower itself, was in black and green mold. Personally, I have never washed barefoot in the shower, always in flip flops. I really did not want to bring a fungus from vacation.
Non-smokers will have a hard time here, because when someone smoked on a neighboring balcony or under our balcony, it stank all over our room.
PRO FOOD. What can I say, we did not die of hunger, and no one, I think, will die. But if for breakfast you want something other than bagels and incomprehensible dough, and for lunch and dinner, not only rice and chicken every day, then it is better to look for another hotel.
PRO BAR, and in particular about the bartender, who very brazenly tried to give us a drink. We don't drink alcohol at all, well, we just don't like it, that's all. In order to get something non-alcoholic, we had to emphasize the absence of alcohol every time. The bartender turned out to be a joker and ignored our request more than once, so we had to sniff and taste a cocktail constantly, without leaving the counter, checking whether he had poured some kind of alcoholic muck again.
ABOUT THE GOOD: the sea is warm and clean, I didn’t want to get out) the weather was wonderful, moderately hot in the morning and afternoon, fresh in the evening, but not cold.
In general, for especially unpretentious people, this hotel can be considered as an option. But personally, I don't want to go back there.
Thanks for attention: )
- The hotel is small, but quite cozy, I can’t say anything bad about the territory, the staff is good and the service is normal.
- Every day several times at the entrance to the hotel check the temperature, pleased.
- The rooms are quite spacious, everything is new.
- The food is tasty, there was always enough food, there are a lot of vegetables, fruits, several types of meat in the diet, fish every day in different forms, there is always a choice of two or three side dishes. Turkish night had sushi. They also serve ice cream during the day.
All in all, it's pretty good, in my opinion.
- Despite the fact that they wrote about the lack of animation, it was, a couple of times a week, I personally caught 2 times a belly dance in honor of the Turkish Night and a fire show from a guest animator.
- The bar is open until 23:30, pretty good alcohol, there are cocktails
Now for the obvious cons:
- The hotel does not have an elevator (I lived on the 4th floor) and at the same time they do not carry luggage during check-out, so either drag the suitcase yourself 4 flights, or ask a random man to help.
- The sewage drain in the bathroom stinks terribly, you can only live with the door to the toilet closed.
- Poor soundproofing, at night you can hear any knock on the door on the floor, noisy air conditioning, good luck to those who are light sleepers : ))
BEACH
There is very little information about the beach, both in the description and in the reviews, so I will write as detailed as possible:
Walk from the hotel to the beach for about a kilometer, 15 minutes, if slowly, there are many shops near the beach and along the way.
From the hotel there is a bus to the beach at a certain time (information is posted at the reception)
On the first day, they came and realized that there was NO promised free BAR from the hotel on the beach, allegedly due to the coronavirus, but nothing was written about this, they studied the descriptions of the hotels very carefully, and without a beach bar I would not have chosen a hotel a priori, so I was very upset .
There are many paid bars on the beach, but the prices are not pleasant, for example, ice cream is 2-3 dollars, cappuccino is about 10 liras, a dollar and a half in general, so I advise you to take a thermos or a thermo mug with you on a trip and collect drinks at the hotel bar with you to the beach. Be sure to take bottled water from the hotel, since there is an endless supply of it : )))
As for the beach itself.
As I understand it, the hotel rents different pieces of Moonlight Beach Kemer every season and hotel guests can relax there. The beach is 50 meters, half of which are double comfortable beds, the second half are sunbeds with mattresses that are close to each other and half are broken. Despite the fact that there are too many people on such a small beach (of course, in the part with sunbeds there is no question of social distance), initially this was not a problem, we went to the beach early, took the bed with our towel, then went to breakfast, etc. and back to the beach.
However, then one day they began to notice that some beds were reserved - this means that now it can only be rented for the whole day for $ 5. But, we think, it's not a problem, we will take those that are still free for the hotel.
The trash started on our first Sunday. The day before, we were told that tomorrow all these beds would be reserved and they could only be taken for a fee. All day we lay on the part with sunbeds and, to put it mildly, were not satisfied. But we thought, okay, since this is only on Sunday, we’ll somehow put up with it. However, then Friday comes, we arrive as usual and all the beds are again unavailable, and on Friday, all weekends and Monday (I already left on Tuesday morning, so I don’t know how it was next). Right up to this point, I didn’t want to write a negative comment, but this is already too much. We knew that the beach was small, we were preparing that it would be 50 meters, but not 20 : )
There are changing rooms and showers on the beach (icy, though), there is free Wi-Fi.
After lunch we went to a wild beach, it is located a little to the right of the hotel beaches, there are no sunbeds, but swimming is normal, there are few people, you can lie on your towels. Beach towels are provided at the hotel reception.
I would like to advise the hotel not to save on the beach area and the beach bar, as this, in my opinion, is the most significant part of the holiday in Turkey.
In general, alas, the hotel C grade.
On the balcony is a table and two chairs.
Immediately at the reception they gave a code for Wi-Fi, though catching only at the reception and at the bar, but it was enough for us. We went to dinner, of course, a crowd of people were a little surprised in front of the restaurant, opening it overthrowing a crowd of people, everyone flew to where we were in line. The choice is great and all - about it later, reports came. The staff of the kitchen is very nice, young boys and girls ran around the deft cleaning of tables, rearranging new clean tablecloths, utensils were enough.
Now the food - breakfast was milk porridge, hard-boiled eggs, frittata every day, constantly baked pancakes, separate milk who wanted to musli delicious, various jams, halva, pastilles, apricots can not describe everything. My wife and I were networked.
Lunches - puree soup every day is different for me and my wife, tomatoes, cucumbers, salads are different, pasta, stew, potatoes and many other things can not be described, a very large selection of sweets, fruits as a circle according to the season. Coffee is very tasty, drinks-juices fanta, cola as everywhere. Dinner - a very large selection of green salads, puree soup and the like do not want to repeat, grilled fish or meat. There was food from large cauldrons, grilled chicken. In short, you will not be hungry, and there are snacks in the bar to your liking there are sandwiches, baked sausages, plus a sea of greens and of course fruit, then you bake sweet ovens or jam or hot chocolate, there is also ice cream very tasty.
Now the beach - not 10-15 minutes quiet walk, I do not know I came to 9 o'clock sunbeds were enough free and mattresses enough who came later was tense.
There is a beach bar for coffee please, tea and cold juices, also brought snacks, but I can not understand why so little was not enough for everyone, it is necessary, I think, the hotel administration to regulate this issue. BAR - I liked it, very nimble and agile guys, clearly and quickly fulfill orders, beer is delicious, cola with ice class, other drinks without taking, but there is everything.
One downside - cleaning is not high quality, I would like better, I also think the administration can regulate the issue. In conclusion, I would like to thank once again the entire hotel team - the chef, his brother and all the staff! ! ! ! ! So my wife and I lost our room when settling did not want to change. I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYONE! ! ! ! ! ! ! I ALSO plan to come again next year.
The rooms are good, the only negative is those rooms located on the ground floor - wall view, but if you are not going to spend your holiday in the room, then this is not a problem at all. All hotel staff are very friendly and attentive to guests. The food is good and varied - a grill near the pool every evening, a variety of dishes, but also a lot of salty came across.
There is also a small bar on the beach, where there are various soft drinks, snacks and fruits are brought. The bar serves delicious cocktails. Wi-fi is only in the lobby and near the pool - so you can sit outside and catch the Internet (to be honest, we even liked that people went out and talked more). There were parties 3 times a week.
We have only pleasant impressions about this hotel and I think that on the next vacation we will most likely go to Iko Garden again.
They settled us at 2, at the request they gave us a higher room (I really wanted to look at the mountains), they gave us, although the hotel was completely packed! Very polite staff. We are 100.000% satisfied. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
Meals: Breakfast is monotonous, but tasty. Pancakes, jams, fresh and grilled vegetables, sweets, breakfast cereals. There were not enough omelettes. Lunch: meat (soy most likely) chicken, side dishes, vegetables. DINNER: ALWAYS!!! ! grill! everyday! fish or meat.
Snacks were burgers, pizza and sweets.
They took their alcohol. They are not very (((
There is no territory, but there was enough space for everyone, both by the pool and by the clear sea on the beach, a 12-minute walk away. The pool is the cleanest.
CONS: Internet only in the lobby, queues for food.
All this is trifles! If you do not go looking for dirt, problems, shortcomings, then the rest will be super !!!! !
