We chose a hotel in Marmaris that works on the Bed and Breakfast system, i. e. only with breakfast, tk. planned to travel around Turkey to a greater extent than to enjoy the delights of All Inclusive at the hotel. We chose a two-room family suite, equipped with a full kitchen. It is worth noting that the entire first floor of the hotel is just such spacious multi-room apartments with a kitchen. Our room 114 was the most spacious. The living room has two sofas, two armchairs, a huge TV (no Russian channels (even though they had a rest from the hateful Russian propaganda)), a large dining table and chairs for it. From each room - an exit to the equipped loggia.
They settled us right away, we arrived at the hotel late in the evening. The staff is great, friendly, ready to help, answer all questions. Breakfast every day except Sunday was the same: a buffet with cheeses, sausages, sausages and fried eggs. On Sundays there was an omelet. Always watermelon, melon and apricots. Jams, honey, butter. Cucumbers, tomatoes, various olives, cereals. Orange juice, water, coffee from an espresso machine, tea. Everyone ate. The neighboring building with the hotel is the largest hypermarket in Marmaris MMM Migros, where you can buy EVERYTHING, including ripe and fragrant local fruits and vegetables.
Walk to the sea for 5 minutes at a marching pace. But we did not like the beach in this place of Marmaris: it is narrow, the sunbeds of the first line are located right in the surf. The entrance to the sea is a mixture of sand and small pebbles, in some places there are stones. Entering the sea for the first time, we were greeted by a rainbow film, either from the bodies of bathers generously smeared with creams, or from fuel leaked from numerous yachts. After we plunged into the water with masks and goggles for swimming, I no longer wanted to swim in that place for the entire period of my stay in Marmaris. After breakfast in the morning, we took a dolmush (minibus) and drove for 5-10 minutes along a picturesque road to neighboring Icmeler. There, the beaches are wider and clean, both on the beach and in the water.
