This was our 3rd trip to Goa, and we lived in this guest house from December 26.2014 to January 4.2015, tour operator Sunmar, flew from Krasnodar by Nord Wind airline to Goa for 7 hours, I liked everything, no complaints .
Morjim Pearl consists of several villas within walking distance from one of the best beaches in North Goa - Morjim, away from the main road, so it is quiet there. Morjim is a wide, uncrowded, clean beach without cows, beggars and, as it has been observed, with the weakest waves compared to other beaches. In Morjim, as well as on the neighboring beaches of Ashvem and Mandrem, mainly Russian tourists rest.
Morjim Pearl also accommodates tourists who paid for a tour at the White Feather Guest House in the absence of free rooms in the latter (apparently, they have one owner).
Our room was on the 2nd floor of a 3 story villa with a padlock on the front door. The room is spacious, with a double bed (bedding and towels are pure white, a rarity in Goa! ), a wardrobe with several clothes racks, two armchairs, a coffee table, a red refrigerator with a key, air conditioning (never used, t . k. the nights were cool, and during the day we were not in the room), two ceiling fans, a small flat-screen TV (no Russian channels), two balconies (one in the room and one shared on the entire floor), kitchen sink, no safe (we kept valuables and documents in a suitcase with a combination lock).
The bathroom is small, there is a water heater on the wall, upon arrival they put a small bar of soap and a roll of toilet paper. Twice there was no water at all, incl. On the day of our departure, we did not manage to take a shower (
Of the living creatures, ants and mosquitoes were seen. Be sure to take mosquito repellent with you, there are a lot of them after sunset.
Cleaning and change of linen is done only on request. To do this, you need to take the room key to the reception and ask to clean the room, as well as change towels and linen.
Wi-Fi on the territory of the guest house, as well as in all cafes, restaurants and shakes on the beach is free, you just need to ask for the password.
Breakfast consists of a slice of scrambled eggs, two toasts, jam and butter, like on an airplane, and a choice of coffee with milk or tea. Every morning you need to go to the reception and ask for breakfast, otherwise you can simply not wait for it, the staff is extremely slow.
The exchange rate (purchase) upon arrival was 63 rupees per $1, when they left, the dollar dropped slightly to 62.5 rupees per $1.
About the weather: hot during the day, cool in the evenings (I wore a blouse), on January 1st and 2nd there was a short rain, the water in the Arabian Sea is warm, comfortable for swimming.
As usual, we took a scooter for the whole holiday, the price is 350 rupees per day (when you exit the guest house, turn right to the end of the street around the corner, bargain).
The vacation flew by quickly, we rode to different places and beaches.
Of the advantages of the guest house: it is located not on the main highway, sleeps well, is located in close proximity to the sea, on the way to the beach there are two decent restaurants - "Tibet" and "Rainbow", there is no theft, bedbugs, fleas and so on. horrors, clean linen. I recommend.
