There is a bus from the hotel to Patras. the fare is 2 euros. Very beautiful city. The hotel has delicious beer, ice cream too. Interesting excursions from the hotel. WI-FI is good only in the central lobby. Greece liked the hotel too.

We all loved it and would love to come back to this hotel! We chose Porto Rio, as they usually choose, in terms of price and quality. There were no questions about the settlement, everything went well. The room was cleaned, everything was changed, the weight is excellent. There are not many hotels with all-inclusive meals in Greece, we had a full board here, drinks were also included in the tour price.

There were entertainment in the evening - this is a plus, from the minuses - pebbles on the beach, but there, in my opinion, there are such beaches everywhere. On the territory - 2 swimming pools + children's pool, the sea is nearby, great view. There was a stop near the hotel, we went to Athens and other excursions on our own. We liked everything in this hotel.

The hotel is located in the small town of Rio, not far from Patra. Beautiful, large, clean with polite staff. Excellent buffet with a variety of delicious dishes. For lovers of gambling, casinos. For children there is a playground, as well as a kindergarten from 16:00-20:00. You can ride a ferry for free, which melts cars to the other side of the Ratrava Strait every 15 minutes.

For children there is a playground, as well as a kindergarten from 16:00-20:00. You can ride a ferry for free, which melts cars to the other side of the Ratrava Strait every 15 minutes. every hour there is a train to Patra, a large tourist city (distance 15 min. ), the ticket price, if I remember correctly, is 3 euros. and more than once!!!! ! Ask the staff where it is better to go there and what hours the shops are open. By the way, from mid-July to the end of August, there are 30-50-70% discounts in stores, you can buy good things for a penny))) ) And also take a ride on the ferry (faribot), which departs either in front of the bridge or after the bridge (there are 2 parking lots of ships).
There are problems with wi-fi, it pulls badly....and with 3j (4j) !!!!!!!!!!!! ! bad connection..... on my nokia lumia, only 3 antennas were caught (((((The video on YouTube worked, but not everywhere. I knew in advance and therefore uploaded cartoons and films to a USB flash drive.
I would not advise a fan of a beach with sand to go there !!!!!!!!!!!! !... because the beaches in Rio are made of pebbles..... buy special slippers for yourself or your children in advance. The beach, of course, wants the best...... The water temperature is not stable...... today it is warm, and in a week it is very cold..... We were lucky all week the water was warm)))) And also frequent winds in Rio can spoil your impression of the whole of Greece..... !!!!!!!!!!!! ! GREECE is a magnificent, beautiful, fabulous country !!!!!!!!!! ! Just learn to choose the right one for you a place, because we are all different, and for whom that stone beach and cold water does not matter, but for someone it is a ruined vacation and wasted money!
