I bribed the price, for seven nights I paid 57 thousand with breakfast and dinner for two people. Throughout the rest for us, perhaps the only significant drawback was the poor soundproofing in the rooms. Behind our wall lived two habalistic smoking ladies of indeterminate age, who on the very first day woke us up at 6 in the morning with their wild neighing on the balcony.

Throughout the rest for us, perhaps the only significant drawback was the poor soundproofing in the rooms. Behind our wall lived two habalistic smoking ladies of indeterminate age, who on the very first day woke us up at 6 in the morning with their wild neighing on the balcony. I had to make a note. Everything else is not a problem. Paid Wi-Fi - you buy ice cream in a cafe around the corner, they give you a password and use it for free until the end of your vacation. We didn’t need a refrigerator, because we didn’t cook in the room, we dined at local establishments. In order to drink tea on the balcony in the evening, I brought a small kettle and tea bags with me. Because of the boiler, by the way, I had a little problem at the Larnaca airport. The employee at the inspection could not understand what kind of device it was, she ran to show it to her colleagues))) I liked the breakfasts. Yes, every morning was the same, but the choice is great: oatmeal, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fried sausages and bacon, three types of sausage, two types of cheese, two types of yogurt, two types of jam, toast, croissants, three types of cereal , coffee, tea, juices, delicious oranges. You can mix it up every day and then you won’t get bored)) Dinners are good: there were always two types of meat or meat and fish, several types of side dishes, green salads - for dinner, that’s it, sauces, desserts, but only watermelon from fruit is not sweet at all. The rooms themselves are excellent: everything is new, fresh, clean. Free air conditioning, hair dryer, there were always two rolls of paper, soap and shower gel in the bathroom. Cleaned up in the room well. The staff is unobtrusive and responsive. Would you return here again? More likely yes than no, but I would try to book a corner room, where there will be fewer neighbors.

We stayed at the hotel in July-August. With a six year old. Settlement. We arrived late in the evening. At the reception they gave out a form to fill out, sandwiches (two breads, cheese and sausage) And after filling - the keys to the room. Asking to change the number does not make sense. As far as I understand, the hotel allocates rooms in advance and only registers and populates upon arrival.

Asking to change the number does not make sense. As far as I understand, the hotel allocates rooms in advance and only registers and populates upon arrival. We had no problems with the number, so I won’t say if we can change the number later or not. Room 606, sixth floor (end), family suite (two rooms). In both rooms there are air conditioners, TV (but for some reason there is only one remote control)))). Refrigerator NO! At all. Nice bathroom with a bathtub (very clean). There are no toothpastes, brushes, hats and slippers. Gel and soap are in dispensers on the wall. The smell is pleasant.
In the bedroom, double bed (moisture-proof mattress pad under the sheet). wardrobe, built-in table with mirror. In the living room there is a single bed (+ mattress topper), a sofa (squeezed). A table, chairs and something like a kitchenette - there is nothing but sockets. There is a large balcony in the same room. No clothes dryer. .
Laminate on the floor. With cleaning no problems and stories. Well done maids!
Two elevators - orange and blue. Serviceable.
The hotel lobby has nothing but chairs and a reception desk.
Restaurant, bar (even two - one in the lobby (not working), the second near the pool. Meals....This is how it works: everything is sooooo very monotonous at breakfast. From drinks, tea (bags), coffee (automatic), juices (also automatic , but I liked the quality - orange and apple), water. Everything without restrictions. From fruits, only oranges, cut.
Dinner. There is less monotony, but still a lot. There is meat: chicken, pork (which the chef does not know how to cook very well - hot sauce would help out, but there is none), fish... Pasta, potatoes, some poor salads (cabbage, green salads)....Not at dinner and drinks. At all. However, if you bring a bottle of water with you, they won’t tear it out (I only saw a showdown in a week because of what I brought with me).
The pool is small. Clean with a variable result (windy, leaves, etc. )
Beach. To the beach, municipal, about 5-7 minutes of leisurely walking, across the road. The sea water is clean.
And now the cons, perhaps subjective.
1) Reception does not solve issues. They asked why there was only one remote control for TV - they promised to figure it out - there was no result (the point is not that they are desperately needed, but that they could ask when leaving WHERE THE SECOND remote control is? ) They did not apply anymore. In general, from my point of view, the night administrator deserves a good review (unfortunately I don’t know his name), a full, short man. Here it is, YES! smiling and trying to help. . .
2) The hotel DOES NOT RESPOND for anything: the pool - there will be no lifeguard, the playground - at your own peril and risk....
3) A separate song - prohibitions. For the sake of curiosity, read - almost everything is prohibited)))))
4) There are no refrigerators, kettles in the rooms....More precisely, of course, there are, but they will bring it only after payment. According to my calculations, for a week you need to add about 50-75 euros to the cost of living... This would be a refrigerator, kettle, internet, drinks for dinner...
5) Internet. Like 20 euros for a week, for one device. And apparently it’s not known that there will be Internet - and many will stay in the lobby, in the bar - and these are orders for water, juices, beer, etc...
A small summary: the hotel is certainly a good three-ruble note. It’s a shame, but it’s losing ground - judging by the advertising booklets, etc. - earlier it was much more fun there, maybe there’s a barbecue for youth, there’s a barbecue - no one starts it and doesn’t even think (although there are tables and screens... Plus a definitely redneck approach ( well, call it European, it doesn't matter) - to squeeze money out of tourists for the usual things (refrigerator, kettle, etc. )... This, IMHO, kills all the pluses. The city location of the hotel is not bad... However, there is nothing to buy there (in Cyprus)..... There are bars, restaurants, etc. , but it's not ours and I can't tell you anything.
I would come up with a gradation of the hotel - BEDROOM. T e hotel where you can only sleep. But there are already hostels

A good three-ruble note, at an adequate price, construction is underway nearby at the moment, but we almost did not hear it. When we booked the hotel, we read the reviews and prepared for the worst, but once in the room we were pleasantly surprised. We booked the Famiy Room - a spacious 2-room suite with a view of the sea and the city, the room corresponds to the description.

We booked the Famiy Room - a spacious 2-room suite with a view of the sea and the city, the room corresponds to the description. There are only Russians in the hotel. We went to the beach across the road to the Atlantica Miramare hotel, once in Dasoudi, we were recommended, but far away. Close to shops and restaurants, no problem.
The food at the hotel was not very good, so we went to the restaurant opposite the hotel. In the same place, opposite the restaurant, we accidentally noticed an office where we rented a car and one excursion on donkeys, the children really liked it. We went to the mountains, to the local villages, but we didn’t reach the Kikksky monastery, but we were at the birthplace of Aphrodite. In general, I liked Cyprus, and I liked the hotel. Corresponds to its 3 *

Hotel neat, clean, fresh
The room is nice, in pleasant colors, cleaning every day. And the reception has a very pleasant atmosphere.
They feed twice a day, monotonously, but not bad. Went to town for lunch. There are many bars and restaurants near the hotel. But the prices are not outrageous. Once we walked and wandered into a cafe called "Tsimes" (a little further than Dasoudi beach) They have Russian-speaking staff, they have a Business lunch for only 5.50 euros. The price surprised me! And the food quality is just like home
There is a problem with wifi in the hotel. Expensive and bad. As a result, we got a vacation without devices)))

Tsanotel 2* Limassol - Hotel Marketing Tutorial.
The main thing to know about Tsanotel: if this is your only option to relax in Cyprus, go by all means! Keep in mind, however, that Tsanotel 2* Limassol is just asking for a collection of marketing cases (learning situations) for the first year of a business school. This hotel is a prime example of how a fixed asset investment can be ruined by a strict return on that investment.
So, case.
“Tsanotel 2* Limassol – who is to blame and what to do? »
The first component of the marketing mix is location. For dynamic lovers of freedom, hiking and the sea - amazing, beyond praise, 200% satisfaction. The hotel is located in the tourist area of Limassol, next to the bus stop. Around - excellent shops with products, local delicacies, adapters for sockets 1 each.
7 euros and other essential goods, there are also interesting manufactured goods: a designer clothing outlet, where shirts for 30 euros are side by side with Cavalli dresses for 800 euros, a handmade shoe store, jewelry, cosmetics, etc.
The beach is across the road. In Limassol, unlike Ayia Napa, and, moreover, from Paphos, you don’t need to worry about the beach at all. The whole city is a beach. You can swim anywhere from the old port to the end of the tourist area. Everywhere there is a fairly convenient entrance to the sea, everywhere is clean, everywhere there are sun loungers and umbrellas for 2.5 euros per day. Somewhere there is a shower - free of charge for buyers of sun loungers and 0.2 euros for the rest (prepare coins! ) Somewhere, buyers of sun loungers and umbrellas are provided with wi-fi. Almost everywhere, the range of services includes basins for washing feet.
There are places that are luxuriously equipped like the beaches of five-star hotels. One such place is Columbia Beach.
It is a 30 minute walk from Tsanotel towards Crown Plaza, or a 30 minute bus ride in 10 minutes. Columbia Beach management demonstrates an amazing understanding of its customers. Free toilets and showers, two free umbrellas for those who are lucky enough to take them, luxurious sun loungers, trendy lounge music - why not stay here longer?
Tsanotel guests, unlike Columbia Beach visitors, have absolutely no reason to stay at the hotel. Because they need to pay literally for every step. And this is a pity, because the premises and infrastructure of Tsanotel are very pleasant.
So, the remaining components of the Tsanotel 2 * Limassol marketing mix are the building, living conditions, and staff.
Fresh renovation, light colors of the floor and walls, high ceilings and a large area of the rooms, bright color spots of textiles, an unusually designed lobby, fountains, elevator glass touch panels and many other details indicate that someone has invested a lot of soul and money into the design . The management found good suppliers of soap and towels, a good laundry. Liquid soap in the bathroom smells amazing, washing with it is a pleasure. Towels are soft, large, smell delicious.
But at the stage of completing the rooms and the final formation of the list of services, apparently, austerity began. So I see the next meeting of the owners and management of Тsanotel, where a new motivation system is announced to the management, with a small salary and bonuses directly dependent on operating profit. What's left for the director? He needs to feed his family somehow!
The director assembles a team and through intense brainstorming, a lot of “brilliant” details are born regarding food, staff and additional services (the rest of the marketing mix):
• Buy the cheapest mattress covers that will stretch and tear in a few weeks, and don't care that guests wake up in the morning on bare mattresses
• Mattresses should also be taken cheaper. And firmer.
• And let the beds move across the floor from the slightest movement of a person lying on them. So cooler.
• Do not install refrigerators in the rooms, although initially places for this were provided. Do guests want cold water in the heat? Let them buy water at the bar for 1.5 euros per bottle. After all, they will not realize that in a nearby kiosk you can buy chilled water for 0.5 euros. And if they realize, then we will forbid them to drink it in the rooms. How?
And we will write announcements that it is forbidden to drink and eat anything that is not bought on the territory of the hotel on the territory of the hotel.
• Offer room service for food and beverages. For the price of a nearby kiosk. The fact that guests will not want to buy warm water, wine and whiskey without the ability to cool drinks is not a problem for the management of Tsanotel 2 * Limassol
• Adapters for electrical appliances sell for 3 euros. In a nearby store you can buy for 1.7 euros? Well, let them go and buy.
• Rent out cups and a kettle. For 10 euros. Not cheap! The kettle will pay off in one rental, then the net profit.
• Charge for wi-fi 5 euros per day or 30 euros per week. Per person. For two, it means already 60. Cool? Super!
• Leave one bartender at the bar for dinner. Give him the oldest blender, or even let him bring his own from home. If anyone wants a smoothie, then let him watch how hard it is for the bartender with this blender, you see, he will leave a tip out of pity
• Allocate for smokers the most beautiful places in the restaurant - on a green lawn, under the trees. This will appeal to smokers who are tired of discrimination in the EU countries, and in Russia they have a hard time. It is merciless to drive non-smoking guests out of these areas, referring to the orders of management. Let smokers feel their exclusivity
• Buy the cheapest coffee and adjust the coffee machine so that the coffee is as liquid as possible.
• Instead of yogurt, give a cottage cheese product with vegetable fat
• Serve the cheapest olives, so slightly wrinkled and shriveled
• Give margarine instead of butter for breakfast.
• Jam also give the cheapest, on flavorings and dyes
• Promise to serve breakfast on the day of departure, but no hot breakfast. When a guest tries to make himself a sandwich with himself, accuse him of “stealing food”.
If a guest tries to say that breakfast and dinner supposedly included in the price of accommodation were 80% inedible during the week, in principle, accuse them of stealing food again.
• And all this will certainly be fixed by the rules of the hotel.
I must say that the hotel staff are very well-mannered, polite, intelligent. They smile sincerely, help, lively respond to requests. They are real good guys! Sometimes they break out "sorry, madame, it's not our decision, it's management. " Yes, I understand… management…
Management is focused solely on the product, without the slightest attempt to provide for the desires of the consumer and earn money by satisfying them, and not trying to be cheap on basic needs.
It never occurred to anyone that at an early breakfast on the day of departure, one could not only “allow” the guest to take a piece of bread and 30 grams of cheap cheese on the road, but also give him a bag for this.
Because it, by and large, does not cost anything, but the gratitude of the guests skyrockets.
It never occurred to anyone not to mark up additional goods higher than in the surrounding stores
No one realized that the prices in the bar should somehow be brought to the average in the area
No one guessed that because of the paid Wi-Fi, people massively dumped from the hotel after breakfast. And this is a pity, because the territory of the hotel is worthy: spacious, well-groomed, playgrounds for children are equipped, the pool is large enough, an invigorating, but unobtrusive lounge sounds everywhere. Here, Internet-addicted guests could hang out for hours, replenishing the cashier of the bar, and there, you see, they would buy lunch. And in the original lobby, furnished with designer chairs, people with smartphones, tablets and laptops could hang out, enjoying cocktails and wine and painting the charms of Tsanotel 2 * Limassol. They don't hang. Alas.
How to prepare for a trip to Tsanotel 2 * Limassol, while there is a focus on the needs of management?
Take something with you that will allow you to fasten the bed linen. Pins, threads and needles, adhesive tape, elastic bands, clothespins ...
You can cool drinks by wrapping the bottle in a damp cloth and turning on the air conditioner. One hour - and you can drink water.
Adapters for sockets can be bought at the discount supermarket Plus, from the hotel to the left, no more than a three-minute walk. Another interesting thing there is delicious chocolate and sugar-free cookies, and the sweetener erythritol + stevia (those in the subject know it). Drinking water is also very cheap there, but, unfortunately, there is no chilled water. Chilled can be bought at a kiosk (in Greek - Periptero) directly next to the hotel.
I won’t advise you to take a boiler with you, it’s still a violation of fire safety.
And it is best to consider Tsanotel 2 * Limassol, given its low price, cleanliness, helpful staff and excellent location, simply as a place to stay. Put in the budget of the trip the rental of a kettle and cups, morning coffee in pleasant places and the purchase of a local SIM card with a good Internet rate. Because Cyprus is a paradise, and the disadvantages of Tsanotel cannot outweigh its advantages.
We loved the beach at the apartment across the road. To get to it, you need to exit the hotel on the left, at the first traffic light we cross the road, turn right, pass the nut shop and the cheap clothing store, and before reaching the crossroads, turn left. In front of you is a shady, tiled path between pretty apartments. Flowering shrubs and climbing plants surround you along the way. There are sun loungers in neat little courtyards, sometimes cats gracefully lie on them.
A few steps to the right is the snack bar “Happy days” - “Happy days”, where from 11-30 to 16-00 you can have a very tasty and inexpensive meal, and from early morning until late evening - extremely inexpensive and tasty drink. Wi-fi is free here, as in all cafes in Cyprus. A spectacular blonde in her 50s quickly and kindly serves visitors, managing to sing along to the hits coming from the speakers. In general, complete relaxation. A few more steps and you are on the beach. There are stones, an entrance to the sea through sandbags, you can lie right on the lawns under palm trees, or on a rocky shore, or sit on benches romantically placed along the walking paths. And at any time you can get up and go towards the business center, or deep into the tourist area, and everywhere there will be paths, trees, sea air, scents of flowers and leaves, beaches, freedom and safety. Cyprus. Delight. Just heaven.
The main thing to know about Tsanotel: if this is your only option to relax in Cyprus, go by all means! Keep in mind, however, that Tsanotel 2* Limassol is just asking for a collection of marketing cases (learning situations) for the first year of a business school.

Traveled with my husband and 3 year old child. Hotel on the outskirts of the city, 500 meters from the beach. The hotel does not have its own beach, the beach opposite the hotel is bad, small and the entrance to the sea is rocky, it is not possible to swim. A 10-minute walk is the city beach, acceptable, the entrance to the sea is smooth sand.

The hotel is small, from the advantages of the outskirts of Limassol, from the airport you will be brought almost first and picked up almost last : -). Very clean, newly renovated, clean air conditioners, good plumbing. The food was HB for everyone, very good cuisine. Meat, grilled meat, chicken, fish. From fruit only watermelons every evening. Drinks in the evening are paid. The pool is clean, very chlorinated, on the first day the bathing suits turned yellow. There is a good playground and football field. Among the shortcomings - if you take a standard room, then your windows will overlook the courtyard to the tavern, where almost every evening (6 out of 8) until 12 at night (and if there is a wedding there, then until 4 in the morning) deafening music will rattle, from which the closed balcony does not save at all. Sleep is not possible. And if your windows overlook the city street and the road, in the case of a suite, then the constant noise of cars. The tavern belongs to the hotel and the townspeople constantly celebrate their holidays there, because it is famous. But the worst thing is that after such a night at 6 am you will be woken up by construction in front of the hotel. . . In general, if you are planning a relaxing holiday without night parties, then this hotel is not for you. He is NOT family.
