In the second room (checkpoint) - 2 single beds and 2 bedside tables, 3 doors wardrobe. But unfortunately, air conditioning and TV is only in one of the rooms. And the cold air from the air conditioner does not reach the back room. Room cleaning daily. Bed linen was changed once a week, towels every other day. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, liquid hand soap, hair and body soap. Bathroom and toilet are shared (large). There are few sockets in the room, so take tees. Our sockets are Russian.

The hotel area is large, green, many plantings (pomegranates, grapes, figs, spruces, cypresses, flowers and of course olives). 2 - a pool (1 - near the restaurant, the 2nd right next to the sea). Bar near the 2nd pool. On site there is an "A LA carta" restaurant, where you can dine once for free (but you need to register at the reception in advance) and a restaurant with a buffet. There is also a spa area, in which 30 minutes of massage costs 29 euros, but. But for new settlers, 15 minutes are free for each adult (as for massage, I recommend signing up immediately upon arrival at the spa area, otherwise your massage will turn into not nostalgia and relaxation, but hard labor, because massage on a tanned back is a horror Also at the reception you can pay a deposit for a beach towel of 5 euros - 1 piece (when you return the towel, your money will be returned to you), you will be given a card and in the spa area you will receive beach towels, which you can safely change every 3 days At the reception you can borrow an iron on deposit (we had our own), a fumigator (we didn’t need it), an extension cord (I think it’s not needed at all). But do not be discouraged, you can lie down on a sunbed by the pool (it is located next to the sea) and relax.

The food is excellent. Nobody will be left hungry. always ice cream, fresh vegetables and fruits, Greek food daily. For dinner, roasted pig, duck, turkey. For breakfast - pancakes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, cereals. And this is not all that you can taste in a restaurant. Wine, beer, juices. Fish, pork, chicken. Potatoes, pasta, spaghetti, rice, casserole and much more.
Leisure.
Outside the hotel, on the left, there is a shop where you can buy everything you need, but if time and desire allow, go a little further to the right (200 m) and run into a shop. While the decision was being made for two or three days, the price fell further, and decently so, although later, while the vacations at work were being coordinated, it rose slightly, but it was still much cheaper than the original amount, so there was no feeling of annoyance. And for what crazy money it is offered at the height of the season - this is tryndets!
Flight "Northern Wind" without delay, on a Boeing-777. The chairs are comfortable, there is enough legroom (dad is 185 cm). No meals, only water offered. For our family, this is even good, because the children do not really eat, but only spoil everything around, you know, when, quite by accident, something falls and spills. In addition, flights are not very convenient in time, or vice versa convenient, everyone was sleeping. Luggage per person is 20 kg, but one piece of luggage is not more than 20 kg, which is quite inconvenient for a family. As a rule, the four of us are going to have a suitcase for 24-26 kg, plus hand luggage with cookies and sandwiches. I confess that due to a catastrophic lack of time, I did not study the baggage rules of this airline (I always have a spare bag with me), so I had to shift at the check-in counter in Sheremetyevo, after which I had to go through security again. But hand luggage of 6.6 kg at a rate of 5 kg was missed.
The company "Pegas Touristik" worked clearly, without a hitch. I bought the tour on the website, the documents were ready six days before departure. We met, saw off, intimidation and extortion from the guides were not noticed. All the necessary information was given, everything was clear and to the point.

But there are many of us, and one of the family members can save another, but no, it's not allowed : )) Towels and linen are old, but clean. We didn’t experience a lack of towels, we didn’t track the change of linen.
Cleaned daily, even very diligently. Once they threw out a couple of empty bottles from under the water left after the flight. I hid them on the refrigerator under the table on purpose, so that my eyes would not be an eyesore on the table, and so that someone would not accidentally throw them away. I didn’t save it)) But they were needed. The fact is that when you check in, you are entitled to one bottle of water per room, and then only from the bar in glasses, or buy a bottled one, pour it yourself into a bottle, for example, in a restaurant from a cooler (where juice drinks are poured during a meal and water, including) is not possible. And water is a strategic thing, there should be a reserve. Our children, for example, if they already get up for a night census, then they definitely need to make up for the lost moisture : ))
The number of sockets does not correspond to the modern number of gadgets. There were three free sockets in our room: in each room and in the passage between them. Sometimes the TV and refrigerator were turned off at night. Not only do a bunch of phones need to be charged, but fumigators also need to be turned on. Yes, there are mosquitoes, and a lot. Maybe this is a temporary thing. But I must admit, although these mosquitoes are voracious, their bites do not itch and are practically invisible. Warning for families with children: Dogs, obviously homeless, run into the territory. At the reception they said that they couldn’t do anything about it, the territory was not fenced, they recommended that they talk with their children so that they would stay away from dogs... Compassionate guests feed them, more dogs are added. I do not presume to judge whether this is good or bad, but I do not like it. What are these dogs? What kind of ailments do they have? “A dog is biting only from a dog’s life” - what kind of life do these individuals have?
There are two pools, near the main building with fresh water, and the main, tricky one with sea water. The water feels a little warmer than the sea. The beach and the pool area border. The beach is pebbles, boulders and slabs in the water. For whom sand is important, then this, of course, is not here. This is a natural feature of the region and nothing can be done about it. Special shoes solve the problem. But, for example, I forgot to take my slippers out of my suitcase for a couple of days, I don’t belong to thin people for a long time and nothing, I went in without slippers. For the time being, children don’t care what pebbles or sand, they generally prefer a pool, they are more comfortable there, it’s not scary, there are boundaries. And the sea - it is so big, deep, and even the fish swim, and suddenly they bite. By the way, on the right in shallow water you can hunt for crabs. And release them, of course, later))
The water in the sea, in the pool, was not hot. To go in, you had to strain a little, but then it is very pleasant. And after leaving the water there was no feeling of chilliness. It seems like they said that water is +22, air is +26. Probably so. Children, of course, splashed up to blue lips, they had to be pulled out by force to warm themselves. Eh, they themselves were like that, only splashing in the dirty ponds of central Russia...
About food. There is no unimaginable variety, but what is, everything is delicious, and this is quite enough not just to eat, but to bite. The bottom line is, there are no fifteen bowls with the same vegetables, but they stand in a bowl of cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers, a bowl mixed with cucumbers and tomatoes, all this is replenished regularly. Meat dishes are in abundance, pasta with rice and french fries is always there. One fish dish is a must, not salmon, of course, but cod, for example. In general, the dishes were not always and not all signed, with cucumber-tomatoes it’s understandable, but if some kind of baked meat, but in sauce, it’s visually difficult to determine who you are going to eat, a pig or a bull. Fruits, cakes and ice cream are very decent. At lunchtime and for dinner, very decent pasta was offered. I am not a great connoisseur and gourmet, but it seemed to me tastier than in those few establishments that were visited in Italy. You can eat all day: breakfast smoothly flows into a snack by the pool (pizza, vegetables, fried meat or cutlets, fruits), then lunch, then afternoon tea with pancakes and all sorts of sweets, and now dinner : )) There is an a la carte restaurant by appointment, it is covered where the afternoon snack is by the pool. We did not notice any full house, but there is nothing special there either. You can visit for variety.
About drinks. Standard set: soda, cola, sprite, fanta. From alcoholic beer, wine of medium scall. We didn’t try strong ones, according to other guests, it seems like tequila is not bad. I don’t like cocktails, but sometimes I drank Spritzer, wine with sprite, almost champagne))
about other benefits. Guests of the hotel are offered 15 minutes of free massage. Once you give, you must take. The girl did well, she didn’t fumble, she wasn’t tired yet. Of course, a 50% discount was offered for subsequent sessions, of course, we promised to think about it ))

It's hard to say what will happen when the hotel is fully loaded.
When choosing a Dessole Blu Star Resort 4 * hotel, you need to understand that it is located in the pope of Crete. It is far from the main sights, to the nearest civilization - Ierapetra - 5 km. And if you get completely bored at the hotel, then either take the bus to the city for a walk, or excursions from Pegasus, but the price tag shocked me personally, or rent a car. Again, there were no rental offices nearby, the nearest one is 4 km on the outskirts of Ierapetra. The price tag at the hotel from Pegasus, in our beggarly opinion, is horsey, there is no competition. If you go out once or twice, you can probably go broke, but not us, we are miser : ))) Somewhere in the reviews it flashed that the price starts from 60 euros (which is the true truth), and this prompted us to order a car through Internet on the site-aggregator. Results. Very, well, just very, very satisfied with their pastime in this hotel. The hotel is old, but well-maintained, you can feel the care of the contents, there is no sloppiness and abandonment. What I always pay attention to (everyone has their own cockroaches in their heads), there is no mold and blackness. The rooms (maybe not all) had cosmetics a year or two ago, the furniture is not old. Nice staff, quiet atmosphere, cleanliness. Perhaps our mood, our desire for warmth and sun played a role, which was somehow not irritated by the sometimes occurring chips on the dishes, scuffs on linen. Or maybe this is the very beginning of the season and there are no annoying crowds in wet shorts, raging drinkers, or rather, get drunk and forget, there are no queues for food, no neighbors slamming the door loudly (we lived alone in a bungalow with 10 rooms). Or does price matter? Yes, and it is also. If I paid as much as a tour to this hotel for June, then, perhaps, I would remember every hole : ))

The fact is that when you check in, you are entitled to one bottle of water per room, and then only from the bar in glasses, or buy a bottled one, pour it yourself into a bottle, for example, in a restaurant from a cooler (where juice drinks are poured during a meal and water, including) is not possible. And water is a strategic thing, there should be a reserve. Our children, for example, if they already get up for a night census, then they definitely need to make up for the lost moisture : ))
The number of sockets does not correspond to the modern number of gadgets. There were three free sockets in our room: in each room and in the passage between them. Sometimes the TV and refrigerator were turned off at night. Not only do a bunch of phones need to be charged, but fumigators also need to be turned on. Yes, there are mosquitoes, and a lot. Maybe this is a temporary thing. But I must admit, although these mosquitoes are voracious, their bites do not itch and are practically invisible. We learned about the existence of bloodsuckers when we saw them gorging themselves on the ceiling in the morning. Or rather, I knew about them from one of the reviews, well, I was convinced))
Beach towels for a deposit of 5 euros, ancient, of course, but the color is joyful - blue - which somewhat brightens up their antiquity. You can change every three days.
The territory of the hotel is compact, but for all its smallness, there is no feeling of tightness and crowding. Very well-groomed and cozy, there is even an alley with benches.
Warning for families with children: Dogs, obviously homeless, run into the territory. At the reception they said that they couldn’t do anything about it, the territory was not fenced, they recommended that they talk with their children so that they would stay away from dogs... Compassionate guests feed them, more dogs are added. I do not presume to judge whether this is good or bad, but I do not like it. What are these dogs? What kind of ailments do they have? “A dog is biting only from a dog’s life” - what kind of life do these individuals have?
There are two pools, near the main building with fresh water, and the main, tricky one with sea water. The water feels a little warmer than the sea. The beach and the pool area border. The bar is one for everything, in the evening it turns into a night bar. There is also a zone with slot machines (paid) and a stage for all sorts of events nearby.
The beach is pebbles, boulders and slabs in the water. For whom sand is important, then this, of course, is not here. This is a natural feature of the region and nothing can be done about it. Special shoes solve the problem. But, for example, I forgot to take my slippers out of my suitcase for a couple of days, I don’t belong to thin people for a long time and nothing, I went in without slippers. For the time being, children don’t care what pebbles or sand, they generally prefer a pool, they are more comfortable there, it’s not scary, there are boundaries. And the sea - it is so big, deep, and even the fish swim, and suddenly they bite. By the way, on the right in shallow water you can hunt for crabs. And release them, of course, later))
The water in the sea, in the pool, was not hot. To go in, you had to strain a little, but then it is very pleasant. And after leaving the water there was no feeling of chilliness. It seems like they said that water is +22, air is +26. Probably so. Children, of course, splashed up to blue lips, they had to be pulled out by force to warm themselves. Eh, they themselves were like that, only splashing in the dirty ponds of central Russia...
About food. There is no unimaginable variety, but what is, everything is delicious, and this is quite enough not just to eat, but to bite. The bottom line is, there are no fifteen bowls with the same vegetables, but they stand in a bowl of cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers, a bowl mixed with cucumbers and tomatoes, all this is replenished regularly. Meat dishes are in abundance, pasta with rice and french fries is always there. One fish dish is a must, not salmon, of course, but cod, for example. In general, the dishes were not always and not all signed, with cucumber-tomatoes it’s understandable, but if some kind of baked meat, but in sauce, it’s visually difficult to determine who you are going to eat, a pig or a bull. Fruits, cakes and ice cream are very decent. At lunchtime and for dinner, very decent pasta was offered. I am not a great connoisseur and gourmet, but it seemed to me tastier than in those few establishments that were visited in Italy. You can eat all day: breakfast smoothly flows into a snack by the pool (pizza, vegetables, fried meat or cutlets, fruits), then lunch, then afternoon tea with pancakes and all sorts of sweets, and now dinner : )) There is an a la carte restaurant by appointment, it is covered where the afternoon snack is by the pool. We did not notice any full house, but there is nothing special there either. You can visit for variety.
About drinks. Standard set: soda, cola, sprite, fanta. From alcoholic beer, wine of medium scall. We didn’t try strong ones, according to other guests, it seems like tequila is not bad. I don’t like cocktails, but sometimes I drank Spritzer, wine with sprite, almost champagne))
about other benefits. Guests of the hotel are offered 15 minutes of free massage. Once you give, you must take. The girl did well, she didn’t fumble, she wasn’t tired yet. Of course, a 50% discount was offered for subsequent sessions, of course, we promised to think about it ))
Wi-Fi works throughout the territory, somewhere better, somewhere flies. It was enough to read nonsense in parental chats on WhatsApp and Viber, it was possible to post pictures on social networks, the children even watched cartoons on YouTube, but their room went out to the center of the universe, and there the signal is always excellent. It's hard to say what will happen when the hotel is fully loaded.
When choosing a Dessole Blu Star Resort 4 * hotel, you need to understand that it is located in the pope of Crete. It is far from the main sights, to the nearest civilization - Ierapetra - 5 km. And if you get completely bored at the hotel, then either take the bus to the city for a walk, or excursions from Pegasus, but the price tag shocked me personally, or rent a car. Again, there were no rental offices nearby, the nearest one is 4 km on the outskirts of Ierapetra. The price tag at the hotel from Pegasus, in our beggarly opinion, is horsey, there is no competition. If you go out once or twice, you can probably go broke, but not us, we are miser : ))) Somewhere in the reviews it flashed that the price starts from 60 euros (which is the true truth), and this prompted us to order a car through Internet on the site-aggregator. Everything arranged, without complaints and claims, 115 euros for five days with full insurance Volkswagen Golf automatic, in the season, I think, the prices are higher, but in any way cheaper than hotel prices. We were not going to engage in tight rides, not only are we miserly, we are also lazy, but let it be for that kind of money, even if we leave the hotel a couple of times... Well, just for info: no one asked for international rights.
Results. Very, well, just very, very satisfied with their pastime in this hotel. The hotel is old, but well-maintained, you can feel the care of the contents, there is no sloppiness and abandonment. What I always pay attention to (everyone has their own cockroaches in their heads), there is no mold and blackness. The rooms (maybe not all) had cosmetics a year or two ago, the furniture is not old. Nice staff, quiet atmosphere, cleanliness. Perhaps our mood, our desire for warmth and sun played a role, which was somehow not irritated by the sometimes occurring chips on the dishes, scuffs on linen. Or maybe this is the very beginning of the season and there are no annoying crowds in wet shorts, raging drinkers, or rather, get drunk and forget, there are no queues for food, no neighbors slamming the door loudly (we lived alone in a bungalow with 10 rooms). Or does price matter? Yes, and it is also. If I paid as much as a tour to this hotel for June, then, perhaps, I would remember every hole : ))

The ferry departs between 10.30 and 11.00, tickets can be bought at every corner. Chrissi is the Caribbean of Europe.

There is practically nothing nearby (greenhouses, olive trees) 10-15 minutes by car to the town of Ieropetra.
Pros: -Amazing to the depths of the soul, friendliness, goodwill, a desire to help the stupid tourists of the Cretans. At the same time, not a drop of importunity, characteristic of many friends of the Russian people. Lack of knowledge of English does not interfere with communication; a mixture of Russian, English, Greek and gestures did not let us down;
- good food. The pastry is just amazing. Fresh fruits. We didn’t have time for cherries and strawberries, but watermelons, kiwi, oranges, bananas, peaches, melons, apples, grapefruits, apricots pleased us. Meat dishes are getting better every day. For 2 euros - freshly squeezed orange juice.
- 2 evenings in 11 days there was live music of a very good performance
- Every day the room was cleaned, towels changed, every other day - bed linen
The hotel guide Julia is a wonderful responsive girl, she could always ask and get help.

, all historical, archaeological sites were far from us. To the capital of Crete - Heraklion - more than 2 hours. Therefore, they mastered only 2 excursions from Pegasus. It is more likely to rent a car, after all, it is more profitable in the sense of self-acquaintance with the island.
The hotel is a quiet family hotel, but vacationers without children are a bit boring, there is nowhere to get out for a change.
And the fattest minus is the entrance to the sea. A variety of boulders, pebbles, stones, plus the restless sea makes it very difficult to enter it. Considering that the sea was also turbulent, not very warm, this makes the problem significant. At the same time, the sea is clean, you can see everything that is on the sand. Next year, the hotel is going to correct this mistake and do something for a comfortable entrance to the sea.
Separately, I want to say a few words about the tour guide Svetlana. Without it, excursions would be completely uninteresting. She is also an amazing storyteller. It will be imprinted in my memory: the amazing color of the sea and the amazing guide.
