Free buses run throughout the Val Cenis Vanoise region, providing tourists with quick and comfortable access to all stations and ski lifts. The excellent cable car infrastructure has a total of 26 lifts.
Aparthotel Les Balcons is located in the heart of the Vanoise National Park. It offers self-catering apartments and free Wi-Fi at the reception.
The aparthotel also has a restaurant and a small supermarket.
Apartments at Les Balcons de Val Cenis Village feature satellite TV and a private bathroom with a hot tub. There is also a balcony and a kitchen. All apartments can be reached by lift. Les Balcons de Val Cenis Village features a country-style restaurant, La Bergerie, serving Savoyard and Italian cuisine. The cost of the hotel's covered car park is EUR 35 per week, and EUR 19 per week from 05 January to 16 February 2013 and from 16 March to 20 April 2013.
How to get there?
We flew to Malpensa Airport (we booked tickets in advance and the flight to Italy was much cheaper), then on a rented car to France. The distance of 250 km on toll roads took about 3 hours. The average consumption of diesel fuel on a diesel fiat with a 1.6 engine was 6.5 liters per hundred. Since we arrived on Friday, and check-in at hotels in France on Saturdays, we stayed overnight in Milan, Hotel Ornato (Via Luigi Ornato, 64), a 3-bed room with breakfast cost us 65 euros.

In Milan, on the outskirts of the city, they were stingy at the Hypermarket for 150 euros, these were 2 large baskets of products, the prices are quite acceptable. For example, a pack of 10 yogurts = 3.5 euros. In the resort itself, next to the hotel, there is a shop 20 meters away, the prices in it differed by 20-30% from the "Hypermarket". You can buy absolutely everything you need in it! Sooo delicious French loaf costs a little less than 1 euro. Good light wine 3-3.5 euros! ! !
Ski rental.
The rental of budget equipment at a discount cost 88 euros per adult. For a child of 10 years - 56 euros.
Skipas.
For a week, lifts cost 156 euros for an adult and 125 for a child. My friends, a married couple, ski pass for a child was free!
Apartments.
Upon arrival, at about 20:00 in the evening, the reception was closed, on the glass at the main entrance they saw attached envelopes, among which we found an envelope with our last name, where the number of the apartments was written. The room was open, there were keys and bedding in it.
The room is large and spacious. Designed for 6 adults. Two bedrooms and a large living room with kitchen. Shower room and bathroom. Balcony. The first night was cold, we slept dressed))) but after contacting the reception, a plumber came and adjusted the heating. There are all utensils, pans, pots, etc. Dishwasher. Fridge.
The apartment was released for 7 days 650 euros for 6 people!
On the day of departure, we cleaned the apartments ourselves, saving 50 euros!
On the way back we again spent the night in Milan, Hotel Ornato. Therefore, it was time to walk around the evening Milan, which met us with real "spring weather"!
