PROS: Lived 7 days in a standard double for the New Year holidays (02-8.01) for 2800/night with breakfast. Excellent value for money for ordinary days, not to mention New. Year. Very clean hotel. Good design. Very comfortable beds. There is a third pillow in the closet. Convenient lighting. Dove squeeze gel is on the wall in the bathroom - it smells quite nice.

PROS:
Lived 7 days in a standard double for the New Year holidays (02-8.01) for 2800/night with breakfast.
Excellent value for money for ordinary days, not to mention New. Year.
Very clean hotel. Good design. Very comfortable beds. There is a third pillow in the closet. Convenient lighting. Dove squeeze gel is on the wall in the bathroom - it smells quite nice. From the metro station Vyborgskaya 500m (8 minutes at a leisurely pace).
Even at night the street is calm. 2 shops-24 hours, several cafes (no nights), air / railway tickets, 2 pharmacies (no nights). To the left of the metro - a pizzeria until 23 (and there is a night delivery). 2 km from the hotel there is a very good night bowling (Almak) with excellent cuisine - where you can eat at night (there - 150 rubles on a ride from the metro, if you walk slowly - 20 minutes)
There are many stops of various transport around (there seems to be a direct bus N14 to Gorkovskaya).
The quality of the hotel compensates for the distance from the center. From Moskovsky and Finlyandsky railway stations in a straight line 3 (2) metro stations - very convenient.
We had our own laptop, but it says in the elevator that the hotel can give you a laptop for free if you don't have it with you.
Breakfast is quite normal and until 11-00 (porridge, scrambled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, fruit salad, muesli, pastries)
We had room 810 (8th floor). A safety suitcase with a set of ropes was found in the room to go down (in case of fire). Caring - well done!
There are a number of disadvantages (see), over which (as we understand) the hotel is working. And since the hotel has clearly sensible management (everyone is very adequate and polite - from the maid to the reception), it seems to me that they will try to correct the cons.
At this price level, after 06.01, many alternatives appeared in the center, but we did not move, because despite a number of minuses, the hotel is very comfortable.
Of the pluses, there is also the opportunity to extend the check-out from 12-14 (600r), from 12-17 (1000r), etc.
At a price of 3500/room, it might be worth considering something closer to the center.
Perhaps it would be right for the hotel to sell rooms without breakfast.
And offer it as an option for extra.
......................
MINUSES
1. Very hot and stuffy in the room. There is air conditioning - but only warm air from there. We turned off the battery altogether and opened the window for the whole day. You close it before going to bed - and by the middle of the night you wake up from stuffiness. There is no comb on the window - therefore it is problematic to slightly open it at night, you had to turn the window handle to adjust it so that it blew a little.
2. Wifi connection in the room is difficult to establish and periodically breaks - both facts were very annoying. But the speed is quite normal. Wifi is almost non-existent in the lobby and restaurant of the hotel.
3. On the upper floors at night, street (? ) ventilation (? ) is very audible - some kind of weak rumble (and this is not ventilation in the bathroom, it's from somewhere on the side-top-outside). The first night was disastrously annoying. Then, either they got used to it, or it became less noisy. But something should be done about this (at least take breaks so that you can fall asleep)
4.
Water doesn't flow very well in the shower (tolerable)
5. From non-essential:
Noted when booking, non-smoking, and given judging by the ashtray - a smoking room. We didn’t notice right away, because there was no smell. A little more careful, plz!
In general, the staff is emphatically polite, but without cordiality, and with a touch of sadness. So it seemed.
And unfortunately they know almost nothing about the area around the hotel.
It would be nice to provide some kind of free guide (like Inyourpocket) and host a counter with promotional cards for nearby establishments (cafes, etc. ).
...............................
CONCLUSION:
Everything seems to be fine: comfort-design-comfort-price.
But the real cons: heating-ventilation; You can live, but you must fix it!

Was in this hotel on a business trip. Close to the subway in a quiet area. The hotel is new and the staff is friendly.
