This year the vacation fell in May, and my friends and I decided to visit Greece. The choice was between the island and the mainland. As a result, we stopped at the village of Hanioti in the south of Kassandra, the Chalkidiki peninsula. The hotel where we spent our vacation impressed us with its hospitality. Upon arrival, we were met by a hotel guide and helped with the check-in, I want to say right away that a small part of the staff speaks Russian and it was doubly pleasant.
We got great joy when we found out that we would be provided with a higher category room at no extra charge. Initially chose this hotel for its reasonable prices. The room was in a renovated building, and was a spacious apartment. Everything we needed was there: air conditioning, safe, hair dryer, the latest plasma with Russian-language channels, a small kitchen area, its own terrace and more. The hotel consists of a main building and a building with studio rooms. On the territory of a swimming pool with sun loungers and a bar. We lived right in the center of the village and all the entertainment was within walking distance. It is literally 5 minutes to the azure sea, the sea and the beach are striking in their cleanliness. Shops with souvenirs and grocery stores across the road. Despite the fact that the hotel was only for delicious breakfasts (Greek yogurt and all the various additives to it (honey, jams, nuts), traditional pastries, scrambled eggs, an abundance of hearty snacks and much more, you will lick your fingers), we had lunch and dinner at local taverns, and each is good in its own way (it’s hard to single out, but a couple of names are still in my head, Colibri is a tavern on the waterfront with a variety of dishes and live music, Zorbas is in the center of the village, a 2-minute walk from the hotel). In conclusion I want to say that we came home happy and rested, and since my review is dedicated to the hotel, we will return there more than once.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Dionysos Hotel for the services provided. Stayed for 10 days with family. The staff at the hotel is very friendly. Even though we arrived very early, we were quickly seated. We lived in Dionysos Studio, the room itself is spacious, there is a kitchen and all cooking utensils, which is very convenient.

There is a wide choice of breakfasts, but it is better to have breakfast early in the morning to avoid the crowds. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Close to the supermarket, and to the sea, and to the stop, from where you can go to any village of Kassandra. Also, the hotel has a beautiful area, there is a swimming pool and a bar. Wi-fi works well throughout the hotel, including in the room. The city beach is dirty, but there are good well-maintained beaches not far away, where friendly staff and a good entrance to the sea. We rested in early June, the sea was clean and invigorating, in general we were very pleased with the rest.

Rested with a friend this year in sunny Greece. Usually, we give preference to no less sunny Spain, and it seemed to us that there were no more colorful and interesting countries to be found! Until this year! During the landing on the return flight, it seemed to me that I was flying away from my native home to foreign lands - I felt so good here.

Until this year! During the landing on the return flight, it seemed to me that I was flying away from my native home to foreign lands - I felt so good here. I brought a bunch of gifts, mostly for myself: oil, cosmetics, shells, olives and a lot of other little things! Oh, and wine, too, of course.
We rested in the village of Chaniotis, in Northern Greece, in Halkidiki. We had an economical hotel, Dionysos studios. The room had a kitchen, dishes, we cooked dinner ourselves a couple of times. In general, the hotel is not bad, quite clean and well-groomed area, there are a lot of flowers, we had the whole balcony covered with it, though goosebumps crawled from the flowers, but they were promptly destroyed by the hotel staff. The staff should be praised separately - everyone smiles, is polite and speaks a little Russian. The downside of this hotel, perhaps, is that Wi-fi is paid and only at the reception. Breakfast is not very varied but tasty. We tried the local cuisine in the village - went crazy with the portions! A lot and very tasty. The sea is great! Warm, azure, pure. We practically never left it. The beach is good but dirty. Well, it depends on the culture of the tourists. We also went on an excursion - on a cruise with swimming in the open sea! A lot of impressions! We went to Neas-Marmaras, tried awesome ice cream! In general, the rest was a success, thanks to everyone who made it so bright and wonderful! We'll be back.

We returned from vacation on September 22.2013. We rested with friends. The village is great. The kitchen is great. I really liked the restaurant "Omega-3". We went to eat - like to my mother's home. Warm home environment. The range of fish dishes is incredible. My husband, the chef, appreciated it. Now about the hotel.

Now about the hotel. Only for an overnight stay and nothing more. Furniture, doors - old plywood, beds - creaky. Plumbing - from my grandmother's time. Water does not flow. We were met by cockroaches in the shower. The kitchen is a horror (it would be better if they removed it altogether). Some kind of wool hangs from the hood, all rusty.
Fortunately, we were lucky with the weather and we only slept in the rooms and took a shower with horror. A slightly different situation is with deluxe rooms - they are really better there. Therefore, if you want comfortable living conditions, then this hotel is not for you.
Hotel breakfasts - I will rate below the level for scarcity, monotony and the complete absence of vegetables and fruits (and this is in season !!! ).
Pleased with the hotel service. Room cleaning, change of linen and towels - no complaints. Lawns, flowers, swimming pool, evening lighting - everything is fine.
Hotel guide Anna from Belarus is a different story. The girl clearly made a mistake with the choice of work. Communicated with tourists lazily, as if reluctantly, lounging on the couch. Apparently she was tired of questions and tourists.

The hotel is good, but without special frills, but we were ready for this. I read the reviews, got scared, wrote that there was no hair dryer, soap and a lot of mosquitoes, they dragged a hair dryer, liquid soap and mosquito repellent with them, all in vain, there is a hair dryer, there was soap, there were no mosquitoes : ) A lot of children, respectively, a lot of noise and children's screams, including our child : ) The room is normal, not big and not small, kitchen at the entrance, with tiles, shower, condo (in Russia, the travel agency tried to make us pay 7 euros per day for it, we decided not to pay, right they did it, because they gave us a remote control from it at the reception and didn’t take money), a TV set (the remote control at the reception for a deposit of 5 euros), they cleaned every day, the maids of Georgian origin, speaking Russian, were cleaned well, the linen was changed every 3 days , we lived on the second floor, so we had a balcony, on the first floor there was also a balcony flush with the ground (the first three days we lived in a regular room on the first floor, there were no mosquitoes, no cockroaches, no dampness, we were even upset when we were moved to the 2nd floor), the child sat on an ikea folding chair.

Not a lot of space, but a lot of greenery, there is a small pool in which we never swam. It took 10-15 minutes to go to the sea, but it didn’t bother, but it was clean, the beach was miniscule and not very clean, 2 sunbeds and an umbrella 7 euros per day, in the end we bought an umbrella for 5 euros, bedding and lay right on the sand, as it were did most of the people. We lived in a room with a kitchen, cooked lunches and dinners ourselves, had breakfast at the hotel, regular breakfast, toast, juice, tea, coffee, cheese, sausage, muffins, jam, eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, muesli, milk, cottage cheese, dried fruits, bread and a roll, butter, canned peaches, simple breakfasts, but delicious. Near the hotel there is a small supermarket where everything is sold except meat and fish, for them we went to a large market on the highway in 5 minutes. walk, called Masutis. The fish is fresh, tasty, most of all I liked the tsipura. The room had a minimum number of dishes, there were no frying pans and salad bowls, I had to buy it. When it was too lazy to cook, we ate at the Angelo tavern, I advise you to try the baked eggplant with feta, very tasty, the staff speaks Russian, the largest bill for three was 30 euros. Very tasty and cheap "Land of giros" according to our shawarma, but much tastier, gyros in pita 2 euros, gyros on a plate 5.5 euros, delicious pork or chicken sulvaki skewers 5 euros, in general, cheap and tasty, you can take it with you with lunchbox. Try Malamatina wine, white wine with pine resin, I really liked it, unusual and tasty, in masutes 1.19 euros per 0.5 liter, drink cold. The town of Hanioti is small, there is a central square with a fountain, there are many shops and restaurants around, 10 minutes from the hotel.

When I was about to go there, I found a review in which it was written that this is a suitable hotel for those who only sleep in the room. Now I can add that it is better to fall asleep before entering the room, and in the room you no longer open your eyes, but it is even better to plug your nose. Not only are the rooms shabby, but they also have big problems with cleaning.

The tile in the bathroom (microscopic, by the way), apparently no one washes at all, there are traces of the vital activity of the previous inhabitants on it, very similar to dried snot. At the junction of the rod from the curtain in the shower and the wall - a cluster of someone's hair. If you enter the room immediately after the cleaner comes out, you can clearly smell a rotten floor cloth. The room (we lived in a room with a kitchen on the ground floor) was inhabited by garden ants and cockroaches (in fairness, we saw only one cockroach, dead (apparently, the ants had bitten it), but a large one). Linen is measured every three days, and, apparently, linen is taken from the next room for a change - on the first day I arrived at the hotel, I washed my hair and wrapped myself in a hotel towel - I had to wash my head right away, because the towel stank of tobacco. The air conditioning in the room is cleverly designed, and works only when there is someone in the room (the key is inserted into a special cell) and the door to the courtyard / balcony is closed - i. e. from a walk you will always find yourself in a stuffy hot room. The bathroom has a "warm" floor - hot pipes run under the floor, the tiles are so hot that sometimes it is impossible to step on them with bare feet. At night, you have to carefully close all the doors so that the heat from the bathroom does not go into the room (we could not turn on the air conditioner at night, because it is located directly above the extra bed on which the child slept, and it was scary to move the falling furniture). Breakfasts do not differ in variety (yogurt, cold boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried and raw sausage, bread, cheese, jam and honey), but they surprise you with poorly washed dishes - cups with a gray coating from yesterday's tea, poorly washed cutlery and plates with sticky residues food is not uncommon.
In general, I advise you to look elsewhere. There are good and relatively inexpensive hotels in Greece - when we went to Kalambaka, we literally stopped at the first hotel we came across (Famissi Eden Hotel), because we arrived late, we were tired, we didn’t have the strength to look for something. So, this hotel was just a palace compared to Dionysos, although it cost almost 2 times cheaper (EUR 55 for three people with breakfast at Eden vs. EUR 90 for three people + EUR 5 per person for breakfast at Dionysos Hotel). Honestly, we thought that in Eden they would charge us 55 euros per person, the difference with Dionysos was so great.
For those who still decide to settle there and who are traveling with small children - rooms 110 to 120 (which are studios) overlook a lawn surrounded by a green fence. Our child enjoyed playing there. Well, also - in the room there is a shower, a hairdryer, air conditioning, a stove, a refrigerator, two pots, a frying pan and a set of dishes for 3 people. There is no kettle. A safe deposit box for 2 weeks cost us 20 euros. To get the remote control from the TV and air conditioner, you must leave a deposit at the reception (10 euros).
