I would like to start right away with how we arrived in Crimea itself. We arrived by plane and decided to take a trolleybus to the place, since a taxi cost 2000 rubles. To Alushta 1000 rubles, but Alushta is not a cliff, as we found out on the spot, there is a big difference in price.
On a trolleybus, which was released back in Czechoslovakia, we traveled 3.5 hours to the nearest stop to Santa Barbara. From there we went down by taxi for 220 rubles.
Finally, we got to the hotel, where it immediately became clear that our room (previously booked for 2000 rubles) costs 3000 rubles. Fortunately, we had a correspondence with the manager Marina, where she confirms the reservation for 2000 rubles. In addition to the price, our correspondence featured a room with a sea view. Of course, here I just didn’t have the strength to fight with the hostess or the manager (you can’t figure it out) and we agreed on a view of the courtyard (it’s very difficult to call it a garden, it’s in disrepair and the staff just smokes on it). In the photo, all the furniture is new, in real life the bed was stripped.
All this is nonsense, you can live, but there is....There are several cafes in Santa Barbara, including the cafe of the hotel itself (namely a cafe, not canteens), where you can eat, since there is nowhere to cook in Lotus.
In general, we (two young people: husband and wife) spent about 3.000 rubles on food per day. At the same time, we had breakfast with porridge or scrambled eggs, dined with soup and dined on whatever was necessary. Alcohol was not consumed at all. Every evening I remembered with sadness the buffet in Turkey and Egypt and could not understand why I came to Crimea.
The sea is good, but since you have to go down the stairs to it every time, without feeling the charm of sand or pebbles under you....
To be honest, we went to the Crimea, because we thought that Turkey and Egypt would be more expensive for us, but we were very mistaken. We left 45.000 rubles in 6 days. (generally) denying yourself a lot. Crimea is a place for patriots or for those who are simply forbidden to travel abroad. It's my opinion....

We found the hotel ourselves, according to the prezdu, I liked the look. The price was also negotiated with the owner. We lived in room 11 on the top floor. From the huge balcony you can see the sea. Very good location - 2 minutes to the sea, 3 minutes to the market, center, dining room. Everything is clean, comfortable, video surveillance, cleaning on demand, dishes in the room, a kettle.

We liked everything very much, the only negative is the mattress, in which springs are felt. We advise you to eat in the "Dining room at home" Very tasty!! ! food can not be called "canteen"
