Were on the free beach in Icmeler. No sun beds, on your own towel. There are more people, the sea is normal.
We arrived early in the morning. We were told that there were no available rooms (as always), and that we should wait... Nearby, the hotel guide was promoting the same sleepy tourists who had not yet received numbers on excursions...
The hotel mainly rests Europeans, few Russians. The staff does not speak Russian.
We lived in a standard room: it consists of a living room and a bedroom. Everything in the rooms is new. Satisfied with cleaning.
I liked the kitchen: meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, fruits, sweets, ice cream.
Two small pools, enough sunbeds. There are slides, but they work by the hour.
Animation and adult and children's good, fun. The staff is very friendly and polite.
Wi-fi is paid, expensive.
Hamam in the hotel is also very expensive, but you can buy cheaper in local agencies.
On the street, excursions are at least 2 times cheaper than those of a tour operator, and most importantly, a greater choice. Were in Dalyan, Pamukkale, Gyokova Bay.
They took great ones, rode them to Marmaris. On Bar Street, I personally only liked the Green House and the Arena. Animators take you only to Back Street, for $10, but you can leave some local tour agencies for free and to better bars.
The hotel is great for families, you don't want to leave the hotel at all. We liked it, although if you go only to sunbathe and swim, it's probably inconvenient.
We moved in without any problems, no expectations and overlays.
Arrived yesterday, rested from June 20.12 nights. They lived in the femel room 1120 (two bedrooms).
The hotel disappointed, or rather the concept of the hotel, led to the feedback of the British (they have their own criteria for relaxation, swimming pool from morning to evening and bar), everything else they have the opportunity to purchase. Marmaris is imprisoned exclusively in Great Britain. Until last year, the 1st building, where all tourists from the Annex are accommodated, was called Green Wold (Green World), and Julian was the 2nd building, it is more decent and the furniture is newer. Owner Julian bought 1 building and gave it to the Annex (requires repair, furniture is tired).
If you eat to the sea (free sunbeds and umbrellas), they do not exist. The hotel does not have a beach. 15-20 lire on any beach or city in the sun. 40-45 plus in the shadows, this is POPA.
Transfer to the beach at 10.00 there is already sunshine, a small Ford transit, if you got in then go, or wait for the move. Back 16.00, ie you want to have lunch (from 13-15.00) for your 2 lira on a dolmus (1 USD = 3.5 lira).
WIFI-paid 120 lira - a week or 35 lira - a day. Very expensive.
As for food, no comments, the chef is great, but the place where we ate, such as a restaurant, I can not find the words. Round canopy with two Conders in 5 meters is not felt at all and the door is always open, and on the street 40-45 plus. So the seats are not designed for the number of guests from the two buildings, as the restaurant was designed for only one building, ie wait for the table. And in the evening you will be surprised by a swarm of wasps, so-so type of bee that can be swallowed with food, the result can be fatal.
Beach towels are rags for washing the floor. Therefore, cards are not issued for them, they are not lost, you want to get rid of them.
Bars two, drinks, you can adjust, the norm of beer. Bacardi rum with cola or gin and tonic.
The hotel is far from the sea, happy before the trip, that in the morning to the sea on foot, and back dolmus, but 3 km from hell it's not serious.
Upon arrival, I had a conversation with the manager of the hotel Denise (spoke English), tried to persuade to change the schedule of transfer to the beach, in vain.
All guests of Julian Forest can visit and eat at two more hotels of Julian Club 4 and Julian Marmaris 5 (go to dinner, feel the difference). The five celebrated the couple's birthday. Super.
Excursions that went to the Aegean Islands, I liked, $ 17. of people All inclusive. The rest were seen in Turkey.
Behind the hotel there is a small canyon, walk a couple of kg as the cow licked.
Summary I can not recommend the hotel (the opinion of our Ukrainian company of 7 people. ), Many disadvantages, only nature, the mountains painted our stay.
Have a nice holiday.
My husband and I walked back and forth, only to get Wi-Fi)) since the Internet was free on the beach, but it was expensive at the hotel.
The rooms are tolerable, but the housekeeping is terrible. The food is very good, the pool is clean. The main thing in this place is the nature that is around, cute turtles, a beautiful canyon, a small "sugar" cave, and the streets of Icmeler are all beautiful, quiet and it was interesting to walk along them to the beach and back.
We went to Turunc once, I highly recommend it, after the beach in Turunc, the beach in Icmeler seems not so clean))
In general, the rest was very good, but not for everyone; )
P. S. If you rent bicycles, go to the city and take Migros opposite (the cost is 5-10 bucks for one for the whole day).
Lovely interior.
The reception at the hotel speaks English. No one knows Russian from the hotel staff.
The room is excellent: bedroom, bathroom, hallway, 2 air conditioners, balcony. Cleaned, towels changed every day (we left a tip).
Restaurant in the hotel - buffet. Lots of meat and fish dishes, salads, soups, side dishes, cakes, fruits, ice cream. . . Everything is delicious and fresh.
The staff is very friendly and polite.
The animation was (in English) - we were not impressed...
The sea is far from the hotel, there is no beach.
The main contingent of the hotel is Europeans (and they, as a rule, do not reach the beach, they love pools).
In general, we were satisfied with the rest!
