Wouldn't come here again.
"Pros":
- The Carpathians are amazing in August (however, this has nothing to do with the hotel) : )
- Good, large territory of the hotel.
- Normal, clean rooms.
- There was cleaning and change of towels and bedding 3 days after arrival.
- There is a swimming pool.
Probably, from pluses it all.
"Minuses":
- Terrible cuisine. For 7 days of rest, dumplings or dumplings were served 4 times for lunch. (Karl!! ! Dumplings from the package!! ! At a time when there are a lot of national local dishes!!! ). Once they served dumplings not even buttered! And buckwheat for breakfast was fried onion in sunflower oil (!!! ). In general, the cook is a "friend" of ulcers and stomach ulcers. For a long time they didn’t eat buckwheat porridge poured with onions in sunflower oil)))) I was the last time in a hungry student community, probably)))
- Small portions at a fabulous price. For comparison: 2 kilometers from Chersak, on the "red line" along the highway to Bukovel, there are a lot of cafes where breakfast / lunch / dinner costs one and a half to two times cheaper and portions are also one and a half / two times larger. Not to mention the quality and taste of the food.
- "Bar". I wrote "bar" in quotation marks - because this is a conditional name. He is, but he is not. Drinking coffee is impossible. It is impossible to drink beer (it is corny not, apparently, they did not take permission to trade). There is nothing in the bar. It's empty. In the refrigerator on display only juice in bags. Here's a bar.
- Staff. It was just impossible to drink coffee in the "bar" due to the fact that the girl and the barista, and the waitress and the maid (and I don't know who else she was there). If she serves in the canteen (and she constantly serves on delivery), then it is impossible to drink coffee separately from the meal either at breakfast, or at lunch, or at dinner. She has never been to the bar. If you want elementary coffee, look for this girl all over the database.
- Administrator. I got the impression that this is a former military man, who is used to having everything according to the charter in the best martinet traditions. He made constant remarks such as "close the gate", "wipe your feet", "don't make noise", "don't put cars", "don't take towels into the pool", etc. It is clear that there should be order, but making ultimatum remarks to guests in such a rude form is wrong. There was an impression that they settled in his house as "poor relatives".
- Yes, even... If you did not have time to invest in the indicated hours of breakfast / lunch / dinner - that's all, you remained hungry (although food was included in the price). Options "leave us in a plastic box" does not work.
And since they did not come to sit in the room, they stupidly gave half of all meals to "Chersak". By the way, the administrator very strongly asked to inform us that we would not be at breakfast / lunch / dinner in advance. It can be seen that not to strain with the preparation of extra portions.
- Well, the most "minus" is the location and the road from the highway to the base "Chersak". That's horrible!! ! There is no road! From the road to "Chersak" 2-3 km along the dirt road and stones. Dust rises to the skies in summer! One section of these 3 km (near the river) is generally difficult to travel for a modern passenger car. Constantly rubbing the bottom of the stones. The location is such that it’s bad with a car, but without a car it’s a nightmare, because to the “red line” of the village, where there are cafes and shops, you have to stupidly go these 3 km along a dirt road, dust and stones.
In general, the result: tolerable. But for the money you can find better on the "red line", albeit without a pool.
1. Accommodation - good rooms, spacious enough, but we took 2 rooms because we were with children.
Cleaned up daily.
2. Meals - breakfasts and dinners are very varied, for every taste. Even the children did not go hungry.
We were at the hotel on New Year's Eve - beyond praise : ).
3. Internet is free in the hotel and worked well in the rooms.
4. The hotel has a small swimming pool, you can swim in the evening and warm up in the sauna.
We were 3 couples, all with children. Everyone was happy, including the children.
I imagined my legs falling off after ascending and descending 2.000 meters, but remained silent. He began the storm: Are you at home too? ! ! I answered politely that after bad weather and a walk with the dog - yes, I also have sand at home. He did not calm down. After that, before our departure, he approached and tried to provoke a conflict. He said that we do not look like Kyivites, that Kyivites do not behave like that. Apparently the refusal to order a bath in the evening also angered him. I politely said again that all people are different, and he has the right to his own opinion. And then he was openly rude. Raising his voice, he said that he was not interested in our opinion at all, and that it was only his opinion that was wrong. I didn't quite understand what he was trying to say, but it spoiled my mood. The guide standing nearby did not even think to step in and stop him.
Apparently a relationship with your loved ones than the reputation of the tour company and its personal.
I am very upset when tourists are seen as a bag of money and do not provide fully paid services.
The hotel meets all criteria.
ROOM:
We had room 207 with a terrace. The room has a shower-toilet and a separate bedroom. The wardrobe in the bedroom is small, but it was quite enough for two, considering that we dried our clothes on batteries. We didn't watch much TV : )
The view from the huge balcony is simply amazing, right on the mountains with the capture of the inner territory of the hotel.
NUTRITION:
We only had breakfasts, but they were very tasty! The staff is polite and unobtrusive. Fruits, pancakes, toasts, eggs, sausages and of course homemade yoghurts : ) The restaurant itself is made in Alpine style, everything is very stylish and concise.
SPA in the hotel:
The hotel has a sauna and a nice swimming pool. Of course, not Olympic sizes, but in order to relax a little after skiing, it is quite enough.
THE MOUNTAINS:
Slides, as always pleased. If you buy a ski pass in the evening and arrive by 8.30, then there is no queue at all. The tracks are quite good, there was a lot of snow, we caught different weather: from +10 to -8 : ) There were rains and snowfalls. If I still go to the Carpathians, then most likely I will stay at the Chersak Hotel!
This is in the village of Mykulychyn, not far from Bukovel. A beautiful, solid house in the Alpine style. Away from the bustle of the world. The nature around is magnificent in any weather.
We rented a double room. Settlement according to international standards. Very decent. Spacious, bright, with hot water (! ), Wi-Fi, beautiful bed linen and other amenities.
The cuisine is excellent, there is a choice. There are a lot of Ukrainian national strains.
Of course, trout is incomparable in any variations!
The staff is responsive, hospitable, always ready to give the necessary information about local attractions and resort infrastructure.
A bathhouse with a pool followed by a barbecue also amused me!
All in all, our vacation was a success.
On the next vacation we will come only to "Chersak"!
