First about the hotel: a modern hotel with good rooms (we had a Suit room - a bedroom, a living room connected to the kitchen, a refrigerator, a large plasma, a fairly spacious toilet connected to the bathroom (moreover, the bath pleased me, I can’t stand showers) Everything is new, Works great. I was resting with a friend, it was inconvenient that there was only one bed (and not very big), they asked for a second sheet. The view from the balcony is so-so, the sea is in the distance. You have to pay extra for a normal view. A big plus is friendly staff, girl Galina at the reception, Julia is a waitress in the dining room, and everyone else. There is no cleaning in the room, but we didn’t really need it. The balcony is huge, access to it from both the bedroom and the living room.
On the balcony, a clothes dryer is a trifle, but nice) The pool is small, there are enough sunbeds, but not everyone could sunbathe, because many have shade. The location of the hotel seemed inconvenient to me, far from the sea and the center of La Pineda, even uphill. What I did not like was the queues in the dining room, despite the fact that the season was already almost closed and there were few tourists. The thing is that they mark each visitor and take them to the table, so everything is so slow and people accumulate (that is, when you are in a hurry, you need to have a quick breakfast, this must be foreseen). I didn’t like it yet (well, it’s probably the same everywhere in Spain) paid additional services: a safe 20 euros for 2 weeks. + 10 euro deposit, iron 3 euro per day + 10 euro deposit, internet in the room 8 euro per day.
About La Pineda: we went from the tour operator Natalie Tours, we didn’t like our guide Sergey at all, complete indifference and unwillingness to help in various unpleasant situations.
We took a ticket for 15 days, taking into account the fact that we will go on various excursions. At the meeting, he told us that the season was ending and there were no more excursions (it is strange that we were not warned about this in Moscow when buying a tour). We planned to go to France, fly to Madrid, go to Valencia. They no longer had anything (there was only Barcelona and all sorts of garbage like catamarans). There are two Spanish agencies on the waterfront - Bus Plana (with them we ended up going to Valencia and Figueres - I advise you, great prices, quality of excursions, great guides, everyone is very interesting and answers any questions) and Costa Dorada Turs - don't you dare deal with them! We took Barcelona from them (we planned to go once with a tour, and then ourselves.
At the appointed time to the appointed place, this is early morning and every day we have planned, a young man drove up - Pavel, and announced that they forgot to include us in the lists and there would be no place for us, we were very upset, but we didn’t swear, he kindly agreed to take us to the station, helped buy tickets and we went on our own (a lot of money, but we didn’t see much, we traveled around the big ring on an open-top sightseeing bus (Hip on Hip off), spent a lot of time, didn’t really see anything, got off at the Sagrada Surnames, it was not possible to get inside, unreal queues), sat in a cafe, ordered paella for 2 and beer - 80 euros.
) The next excursion from this agency is Mount Montserrat (everything went well, excellent guide Irina, everything without overlaps), Port Aventura - they sell a ticket and make a discount on Montserrat, the next excursion is Cannes - Monaco - Monte Carlo - San Remo - Nice ( the cities are amazing, very colorful, Monaco and Monte Carlo were especially impressed, we went to the casino, be sure to go in, even played)) But the guide is just wild horror! Shizo- and this is the opinion of the whole group. I was with a girlfriend, we are young girls, the rest were families (by the way, a tour by car for 7 people), he didn’t leave us, some show-offs, all the stories about how cool he is, that Soho rooms in Moscow (still laughing ))) him that he knows the prince, everyone around him knows that they let us into the casino only because of him. The pathetic loser himself, apparently, ugly, old (mows like a young boy), the guide from him simply did not convey any information, only about where some oligarchs live. The whole group was disappointed.
It’s still not clear why we went to San Remo - of course, the shopping there is excellent, but the shops open at 10-11, and at 12 we had to leave - they grabbed whatever was horrible, but the shoes were amazing and the prices were pleasing)) Ahh ... by the way, the guide name is Oleg, we called him Olezhka. On the second day, he began to speak boorishly, we sent him, didn’t let him take a picture, insisted that everyone listen to his stupid stories about millionaires, and immediately moved on. I told him that I would spend the trip the way I needed, and I would read all his stupid stories on Google if I wanted (after that, he said that he was WRITING history, and that I would not read what I hear here anywhere). In general, fu, they remembered him then for another 2 days, a very vile impression was left. On this trip, we met the driver - Victor (by the way, he also can’t stand him, and indeed their whole team)) Victor is a wonderful person, very intelligent, punctual, he tried to please everyone.
It was very unpleasant how this Olezhka was talking to him (everyone was trying to indicate his significance). It's just that Victor didn't want to quarrel with him in front of tourists. By the way, once there was a case when one of the tourists stuffed his face. We went to Barcelona with Victor - the second time, had a great time, gave us useful advice. We are delighted with it! By the way, he is from Vinnitsa, but has been living in Spain for 15 years. We advise, the prices are minimal, and we looked more than it was stated on the tour, and we are not tied to anyone ! ! ! And for the money it turned out great, I did not even expect. His phone is +3.699 8.26 12! He makes discounts for Russians.
In general, take excursions to Bus Plane - the best value for money!
All excursions in Spain are very interesting: Valencia is just a fairy tale, be sure to get there! Montserrat - beautiful views! Figueres liked it. Port Aventura is delighted, Shambhala is just PPC (sorry, there are no other words)), Barcelona is definitely super, France-Italy- see.
above, a very difficult trip, and all at a gallop across Europe, I ended up confused, and now I can’t determine which city I’m in from the photo)
Shopping in La Rocco Village is just awesome, the prices for branded items are simply blown away - for example, Burberry jeans - 70 euros, Versace trousers - some 18.8 euros, others 22.2 euros, Dolce Gabbana jeans - 100 euros, panties are also there 4.95 euros (I'm in shock, I buy 5-6 thousand in Moscow) and so on.
Don't forget to apply for Tax Free on purchases over 90 euros!! ! ! Then nothing can be done, as a result, I forgot 100 euros ((
Have a great holiday, good people and sunny mood! ! !
