A month before the event (exhibition) through the site of the exhibition complex, I looked through the recommended hotels, including Nyvky Plaza 4 stars. I looked at the location - excellent, near the exhibition complex (indeed, we went by car, taking into account morning and evening traffic jams - 4-5 minutes). This is where the pros of this place end.
The manager gave me my booking number. The day before arrival I called back - at the other end of the wire they were looking for my reservation for a long time, finally they found it, they said that they were waiting.
We arrived, as I felt, at the reception it turned out that there were "problems with plumbing" in our room and they gave us another one. I ordered with a double bed, they give with two separate single beds... okay, they agreed to it.
We went up to the room . . and were literally stunned !! ! what 4 stars! there are no three with an interference fit!
The room is terribly dirty, the wallpaper on the walls is in some kind of streaks (I'm afraid to assume the worst . . ), cobwebs in the corners, linen caused very big doubts about cleanliness...
in the bathroom, the shower cabin is not at all the same as in the photo - a blunt sash with loose doors, a pallet walks under weight and leaks from below - after taking a shower, half the bathroom is flooded with water. The photo shows soap streaks on the wall in the shower room - this is how it looked when we settled there, that is, cleaning, probably, was not carried out.
The washstand is not that compact . . it is just the size of a plate - it is impossible to wash, see photo.
The mirror is dirty, the water comes off badly. There is no backlight on the mirror, wires stick out, and they are not insulated.
In the toilet, sorry for the details, there was yellowish water... and on top there was a paper tape "sterile" . .
There were sticky drops on the nightstands near the bed (hopefully only from coffee).
The air conditioner was stained with something brown from the bottom (maybe coffee, maybe beer), they didn’t turn it on at all, the grilles in it, probably, no one washed from the moment of installation.
On the walls of the room in several places there are traces of dirty fingers.
On the table near the minibar (Sovdepovsky refrigerator in a "frame" made of chipboard) there are again sticky spots, patchy and, sorry - hair. The window sills are just black with dust, I ran my finger - I went to wash my hands.
There is no cup for brushes in the bathroom, we had to improvise. Liquid soap and some Chinese shampoo are so bad that they didn't even use them. Towels were in doubt, but with a grating heart I had to use them - they didn’t take my own from the house.
The bed frame is falling apart, the furniture is disgusting, the cheapest - I speak as a former owner of a furniture production.
Cable TV - 11 channels, complete nonsense.
It’s good that I had hand sanitizer with me - they cleaned the toilet seat to at least reassure myself with this.
This is a junior suite! There are no slippers, they cost extra money, and there is a price for disposable ones, and there are rubber ones. We took ours from home
There is no shoe rack.
There was an electric kettle in the room - dirty to the point of vomiting... no cups, only two glasses.
In the photo there is a bedside lamp, it is one, despite the fact that there are two bedside tables. Probably, the long-legged beauties, whose photographs are so abundant in booklets, carefully laid out at the reception, in the rooms and on the floors, in a fit of passion, more than once dropped it (the lamp) on the floor - hence such picturesque cracks in the lampshade...
Minibar - beer expired back in July. Some leaks inside. Rumbles at night so that it is impossible to sleep.
Separately - for soundproofing. She just doesn't exist. You can hear how they walk in the corridor, heels, talking, drunken delirium - it was the last night, someone very "cheerful" drove by. In the corridors at night someone smoked - it was drawn from under the doors. The neighbor behind the wall was snoring so that we could hear everything. Separately, thanks to him that the sluts did not bring.
People on other sites write about condoms in the rooms - I won't lie, we didn't have that. But everywhere lay booklets advertising prostitutes and brothels. Probably, this hotel is intended for the people of Kiev.

They came in the evening after the exhibition - the garbage from the bucket (it is in the room, open)) was removed, the table was wiped, it even smelled a little Pronto, but the spiders and garbage remained on the floor. My wife said that spiders are for guests - probably, the hotel lures guests in this way.
The breakfasts are good in our opinion. There is a choice of dishes, two or three meat dishes, two side dishes, one salad and fresh cuts. vegetables, oatmeal, two types of pancakes, grain coffee, tea, juices. Everything is delicious.
I would like to note the staff of the Kindrat restaurant (in the form of a pub) - very nice young guys, polite, courteous. As if not from this institution. It was they who cheered up a little after a hard exhibition day and srach in the room.
Having gone down on the last day before leaving for breakfast, we found an extinguished company of a young man and two ladies of cheeky behavior. At 7.30 on the table, vodka, cold cuts, leftover food and a drunken scratch... seeing that the guests began to catch up for breakfast, the ladies gathered and took their gentleman with them...
Yes, another important point - the first administrator does not greet, speaks only Ukrainian, and reacts to Russian speech with hard-to-disguise disdain . . This is one of three. The other two girls are simpler.
During our stay (November 06-10.2013) there were two huge exhibitions, a lot of people, visitors, foreigners . . but there were not many guests in Nivki Plaza 4 (!!! ) stars, probably people already know this viper... sorry , 4 star hotel!
It is a pity that there are no alternatives in the area of the exhibition complex, either 2 stars in general, or hostels, or Ambassador - but these are the same owners as Nivki Plaza, according to the comments on Booking and Hotels 24 - the same srach, only more expensive.
And further. The room is cold and damp. The heating either works or it doesn't. Hot water in the shower has to be drained for about 5 minutes to go more or less hot. On the third day of our stay there was no hot water at all. Despite the declared daily cleaning of the rooms, they only took out a bag of garbage from our room, did not vacuum and, moreover, did not wipe the window sills and other surfaces. They didn't clean up at all the last day. As well as there was no declared change of linen (once every three days). The photo shows the "pictures" in the room, filled in my opinion with some streaks of brilliant green. But the level of the hotel is also emphasized by grammatical errors in the signatures of these "canvases". I have a question: Mr. (or Mrs. ) the owners of the Nyvky Plaza Hotel! Do you read reviews about your establishment? Why is nothing being done for the better? Why such an attitude towards guests? Or do you think that stray "macho" with sluts will make you popular and box office? And yet - who told you that your institution has 4 stars? How is this confirmed?
