Wi-Fi is free in the lobby and in the rooms, also free sauna, Turkish bath, fitness center, table tennis.
The rooms are spacious with kitchenettes, all with sea views and large balconies. The interior is modern, the furniture in the rooms is excellent. The food is amazing, good quality.
Does the hotel have an outdoor pool. By the pool and on the beach sunbeds, umbrellas and towels are free of charge, on the beach 1 drink is free with a voucher.
They plan to make a descent to the beach right next to the hotel like an elevator.
The hotel deserves attention.
2. You can’t sit in a taxi in a tunic, so you need to dress “thoroughly”, and in beach hotels in a swimsuit from your room and immediately into the sea - this is more convenient on vacation.
3. On the way back, you need to go to a coastal restaurant and ask the staff to call a taxi, of course, they are not willing to do this. And also when they call (at the same time being indignant and asking us why they need it, this is the work of the hotel) and once and twice and three times in the taxi service they hang up when they hear that tourists need to be taken from the sea to the hotel. Because we are wet and there may be sand on our feet! Like this. So we dried ourselves, washed ourselves, so that they put us in a taxi. Walking up that mountain in the heat, and then still in a straight line to the hotel, you’re not very much. from the cafe refused to call. We got them with our requests to call. Although the hotel told us that they have such an arrangement
Now about the dinner, which we paid for at the travel agency. It takes place only 1-2 times a week (on Shabbat and any of their holidays). The rest of the time the door to the restaurant is simply closed. They give you a voucher and you go to a riveted cafe (we have END) where they gave us a menu in Hebrew, and in English they said that since we dine not for cash, but with a voucher, then we have at our disposal a choice of EITHER: scrambled eggs, OR yogurt and dairy something OR pizza. ALL!!!!!!!!!! ! We are not supposed to do the rest, or order for money. We went to the reception desk, started to find out what kind of nonsense it was, they phoned the cafe, found out something and we returned. we were brought a menu in English and were allowed to choose one of any dish + brought a small bottle of water and that's it. And so every day, except for Shabbat dinner at the hotel. And very specific. The breakfasts are poor, they don’t even fry an omelet there, moreover, there’s not even this stove there. You have to take a taxi to the shops, the area of new buildings and the infrastructure is not developed at all (40-60 shekels).
I want to say that the sea is clean and warm, a light pleasant breeze blows all the time, so the climate in Netanya is very pleasant. Will definitely come back, just to another hotel.
First, the pluses, a luxurious room, a huge guest room with a kitchen (dishes, a refrigerator, a microwave, etc. ), a leather corner, stylish furniture and a small bathroom, a plasma and an audio center, then a no less huge bedroom with a huge bed, there is already a large bathroom. Further, there is also a huge loggia with sun loungers, a table with chairs and a beautiful view, the sea seems just right next to it.
Another plus is the promenade with wooden flooring and many beautiful views of the sea.
But with all the pluses.
The most serious minus is the distances measured on the map, repeatedly walked to the hotel (as it were) beach 1850 meters, in fact it is more than 2 km, and you have to read the steep descent to the beach, the second beach is open to all winds and not equipped, with a dubious bottom it 850 meters, I think in fact no less than 1 km, with a difficult descent into the bargain. The promised free shuttle by the hotel to the beach is a myth, they demanded it once in 11 days and saw three times that it seemed to appear at the hotel, so walk or taxi. To the city, to the center, and not to the sleeping areas at least 3 km. , the bus going there was seen a couple of times.
I don’t know how to compare breakfast, I haven’t seen such a modest one in Israel until now, not for the first time in Israel. The hotel staff is not very friendly, except for one of our guards. in English, we guessed that every time this stupid miracle wondered if we were from here, only Russians stayed, was he playing something like that. you need to vacate the room not at 12, as it was burnt out, but at 11, nothing, they say, walk for an hour in 32-degree heat. Maybe that's why there were no hangers in the closet.
In general, there was a clear impression that this is a hotel for locals or to stay no more than 1-2 nights due to an excursion, without pretensions to swimming and normal food. Five stars deserve the room itself and the view from it, the rest does not even pull on 3.
My husband and I bought a 10-day tour - 5 days Netanya (Island Hotel), 5 days Eilat (King Solomon Hotel).
We had a wonderful time in Netanya, we liked the hotel very much, the white, leather furniture in the rooms is especially impressive! Everything is new, clean + stunning sea views and romantic sunsets in the evenings.
The beach is not far from the hotel, about ten minutes walk (the hotel itself is located right on the seashore, but on a cliff), if you wish, you can use the shuttle that runs every hour, and also take a bike from the hotel (free of charge), very useful after a lazy holiday = )
I was impressed by the pool, very large, elegant with beautiful blue water. The hotel has a gym, my husband and I went a couple of times, drove fat after yesterday's dinner, which was very tasty and nutritious with a large selection of dishes (buffet) =)
We walked to the center of Netanya, 10 minutes by taxi (25 shekels / 200 rubles), many cozy cafes, shops, there is something to see / show yourself))
By the way, the hotel has a food / water delivery service to the room, very convenient, but we preferred to walk to the store ourselves!
There were no problems with the staff, many Russian speakers.
We will write about Eilat later =)

At the end of February, we rested with friends at the Island 5 * hotel, we still remember : )
The hotel is simply gorgeous, the first thing that is no less important is the location on the seashore, the chic white rooms with huge balconies, from which the view of beautiful Netanya... The food is excellent, a huge range of dishes for every taste! The hotel is more designed for family vacations and of course for tourists who want a great vacation : ) Because everything is there for this!! ! Friendly, helpful staff, always happy to help with any questions!
Special thanks to ANASTASIA!! ! Thank you for a wonderful vacation, super mood, and unforgettable impressions!
I can say one thing: Island is your hotel, your home, where you will find much more than prestige and great location.
