I want to express my deep gratitude to all the people who write their reviews here and not necessarily about hotels, but in general about Dubai and how to survive in it)) I read the site a month before going on vacation to Dubai, although there are no specific reviews about our hotel here But all the information that people write about the metro, sights, cafes, money and malls helped a lot!
I hope my review of the hotel will help someone to choose a hotel!
The hotel is clean and comfortable - I would say such a family hotel, no running around and screaming or long queues at the reception. The staff is very helpful - everything we asked for (hairdryer in the room, extra dishes or salt) was given to us without question. Everyone speaks only English , but since I know the language, there were no problems.
They cleaned every day well, shampoo / lotion / soap was replenished every day, the bed was changed 2 times in 10 days, if you throw a towel on the floor, they change at least every day (the cleaner cleans all day on the floor from room to room, it happened that we even during the day they changed wet towels and asked for additional shampoo). The water is high pressure and well hot - the main thing is to turn on the boiler as soon as you enter the room and it heats up quickly (you can never turn it off)) but the cleaner always turned it off after us.
Men clean, by the way, and in general all the hotel staff are men in the dining room and hall.
You control the air conditioning yourself in the room, we didn’t use it, because it wasn’t hot at all, the tiles on the floor were cool and there were no carpets, only small rugs by the beds.
There is no washing machine - who cares.
The rooms are large as in the pictures of the hotel, very spacious, but not such a new hotel - as it looks on the Internet))
In the bathroom, the cubicle is a bit old, the sink and the toilet are new. The upholstery of the chairs is worn, but the bed is good and comfortable, but a good mini-kitchen, everything is new - a refrigerator (large with a freezer), a microwave, a stove with two burners, an electric kettle, a toaster and the necessary utensils. Good bar counter with high chairs has become our favorite place in the evenings))))
A large closet for things and a plasma with one Russian channel (we returned at 2 am and fell asleep under it))) An excellent balcony with a table and chairs (there is a dryer there).
Everything we expected from a hotel, we got!
Basically for me there was a large room + balcony + kitchen,
since my 6 year old daughter and I did not want to be on top of each other.
So my daughter could walk on the balcony with dolls or watch cartoons in the same place from the iPad, she had a playroom there)) it is very convenient to dry things from the beach in the air, and not in the bathroom.
In the evenings and nights, we sat at the bar and did not interfere with the light of my daughter's sleep, since her bed (quite comfortable and surprisingly wide! ) Was on the opposite side near the balcony.
A huge plus of the hotel is really free WiFi throughout the entire hotel (rooms, dining room, hall, rooftop pool).
So here it is for free and very good! Skype worked well and we could communicate with Ukraine and upload pictures to the social network easily.
The pool on the roof of the 8th floor from 0.5 to 1.7 is clean and warm (we used it a couple of times when we didn’t want to go to the beach), the child had fun there with might and main, since there are few people in the pool. There are 10 sun loungers, there are tables with chairs, you can sit and smoke if you need to. An awning is stretched over the pool, you can swim in the shade, there is also a small jacuzzi +30 water nearby (with evening illumination, it looks cool at night! )
Sauna for wives and husband separately for free, also a small gym.
Breakfasts were included, we didn't take dinner. A lot of Indian food, but there is scrambled eggs / boiled eggs / fresh tomatoes cucumber salad / two types of cheese / cereal with milk / delicious yogurts / toast jam butter / muffins croissants donuts / watermelon melon bananas always, sometimes grapes and oranges / tangerines - instead of bananas (once pineapple) Tired of the same thing in 10 days, but we always ate up!
In general, the hotel is very suitable for holidays with children, it is spacious, quiet and you can cook in the kitchen if the children are small, I saw how they gave extra cots for new ones))
There are few Russians - we saw only a few people, and then, not at the hotel, but in the morning transfer to the beach, the bus at 9 am takes you to Jumeirah Open Beach, but we always went on our own to different beaches every day. They don’t take them to malls in the evenings.
Specifically, you can write a lot and for a long time about Dubai, so ask questions and I will try to answer everyone! We visited many places - the old market in Deira (gold / spices / souvenirs), Burj Khalifa and fountains (were also at the top), Madinat Jumeirah (Dubai Venice ) and the territory near it Burj Al Arab (Sail), an aquarium in Atlansis, from the Dubai Mall and Emirates Mall, Burjuman Mall, Al Guer Mall and the beautiful Ibn Batuta Mall, Dubai Marina. They mastered the metro very well. We were on 4 different beaches.
Basically, everything that is written here on the site is true, so whoever is planning a trip, be guided by the reviews and you will not lose!
The reviews were my guide to Dubai (I even took some pictures on my phone about where to eat or how to get to a certain point and used these pictures in Dubai)).
