In general, I liked everything. The location is remote from the entertainment center, in Deira, but I liked that the building is far from the shops, no buildings adjoin it, there is a public garden nearby. Shops nearby across the road, a good non-stop supermarket.
The staff at the hotel does not speak Russian, Pakistanis and Indians work.
But with a minimum knowledge of English, it is quite possible to go.
The rooms are small, but quite comfortable and clean.
We had a room on the first residential floor, the window overlooked the inside of the hotel, and not the street, but this did not bother - but the planes were not heard.
But of course the audibility is strong in the hotel - music at night from nightclubs. However, we got tired during the day and still slept like the dead.
A comfortable bed, a kettle in the room (2 bottles of water only upon arrival, then you need to buy, and tea too), in the bathroom there are toothbrushes, razors, cotton swabs and more. There are floor scales.
It was not possible to set the air conditioner warmer, so they simply turned it off if it got cold.
By the way - a non-smoking room got, but they said that we could smoke in the room without any problems, which we did.
The bar has some alcohol, in principle, not very expensive.
There is a Russian channel, you just need to click on the settings.
Spacious closet, table, two chairs.
Removed normally - young Indians.
Leave a tip every other day - 10 dirhams. The Hindu even came to see if it was money for him and was very grateful.
We took towels from the hotel to the beach.
The only thing that I personally did not like was not very hot tap water, so I would not recommend traveling with a very small child.
Although my companion was just right, he said that the water was excellent for him.
There is a pool and a bar on the roof, as well as a fitness room - did not use, but went to look - everything is very nice.
In general, the hotel is beautiful - both the hall and the corridors. The elevators are beautiful.
The breakfast room is small.
Breakfasts are specific - no slices of cheese, sausage, ham - but this is probably the specificity of the region.
And so there are fruits, and cereals with milk, sausages, toasts, cakes, pastries. But everything is monotonous and modest.
We did not try lunches, because the food was BB.
We went to the restaurant at the Golden Fish Hotel - we liked it, it was tasty and not crowded. Good Turkish coffee. You can smoke, offer beer.
The location is good in my opinion. It is not long to go to Al Mamzar beach, there is a bus from the hotel at 9.30. Back at 13.00. If there are not enough seats on the bus, another minibus is served. No entries from the evening on the bus, as is the case in other hotels.
Once we went to Jumeirah Park Beach for a change - it also didn’t take long and was inexpensive by taxi.
To the subway 10-15 minutes in a straight line past the shops. Near metro McDonald's, Pizza Hut.
The branch is straight to the center.
To the gold market and the square with a bunch of shops - on foot. It's pretty close too.
Whoever goes there - immediately take the hotel's business card to the reception, it has a location map. Not all taxi drivers know this hotel. We sat down, showed a business card and no problem.
In general - a good city hotel, for the money we paid - very good.
Recommended for young couples.
I do not recommend with children, because it is noisy.
And it will not be very comfortable for those who do not understand English at all.
The Russians are offered it by the travel agency NEVA. From them, my friend and I flew. Met and had a great time. The hotel was quite good for a city hotel. Located in Deira. The staff is polite and friendly, most likely they are Indians and Filipinos. The room has beautiful furniture and all bathroom accessories, including toothbrushes, nail files, etc. There was also a bathrobe, but for some reason there was only one! In a double room. The downside is that tea, coffee and water are provided once upon arrival. Then you need to buy all this in the nearest supermarket. Luckily he's around. Another minus - on the roof by the pool there are only three sunbeds for the whole hotel! Three, I'm not kidding! Plenty of chairs and tables around the pool though.
There is a shuttle to the beach at Al Mamzar. At 9.30, back at 13.00.
Not far from the hotel is the shopping center Al Gureir.
Of course, there are "fours" and better in Dubai, but this hotel is also a good option for a relatively low price.
