A hotel for those who are tired of the city and people. No parties, nightlife, etc. THIS IS NOT MUI NE!! ! From the hotel to Mui Ne we got 1 hour with a change in Phan Thiet! We went for 10 days (with breakfast). Take sunscreen at least SPF 50. Some friends took 30 and they all burned out. We smeared SPF 50 for sunburn and also took it after sunbathing with cactus juice.

Nowhere burned down and arrived as blackwear))) Rooms. We lived in the already known on the Internet, number 601. Everything is clean, beautiful. They cleaned every day pretty well (we left 20 thousand dong every other day). There is: a hairdryer, a TV (one channel), a refrigerator, a safe, bathrobes (although they are very hot in them), rubber flip flops, a kettle, 2 plates with mugs (mini). Tea, coffee, 2 bottles water, soap, toothbrushes, combs were added every day, even if the previous ones were not touched. Towels were changed every day, but bedding, in my opinion, only 1 time. There was still water, juices, beer in the fridge - it's all for a fee, so we didn't touch anything))). The view from the room is gorgeous (as in the picture), because these rooms are at the very top (the whole hotel is on a slope). There were no insects. On the second day, a gecko came in to eat from a trash can, but, apparently, it was not tasty and he did not come again. But some said that a black cockroach ran out to them... Internet Several Wi-Fi points. Basically, the fishing was good, every evening they called home. Day 3 (before the new year) stopped catching in the room, but by the pool, on the balcony and at the reception was caught well. Sea and pool. Salt water pool. Three pools of different depths are interconnected. Plus a lot of small ones, with a bath, where children and grandmothers did not get out)))). The beach is a little further. It is really deserted and there really is someone living in the sand (the roofing felts were biting, or someone else), but the problem was solved before the flight: we bought the cheapest cream for itching. TA-dah! ! We walked along the beach almost every day! And in the morning, before lunch, there was a low tide in the sea behind the pool and many swam (but it is dirty). The hotel as a whole. The staff is friendly, but the language barrier is noticeable. True, the receptionist understands a little English. With us, the hotel was packed, but !! ! We hardly met anyone! Due to the architecture of the hotel, no more than two rooms go along one path. . True, you can easily get lost, especially when you go out for the first time))) The shop at the hotel is very expensive... of course. 3-4 times more expensive than in the city. Restaurant. There are a lot of dishes. There is both traditional and their, Vietnamese. But, thank God, they are already preparing for Russians: spices or a little bit or not at all. I wouldn’t say that it’s delicious, but you definitely won’t die of hunger: in extreme cases, they also cook scrambled eggs there. Everything became boring only towards the end, day 7-8. WHERE TO EAT We leave the reception on the road, turn right and walk to the second cafe. The first one is commanded by Natalya (Russian), but she is very rude. And the dishes confuse and talk about Russia tortures and is a little expensive for her. Second: at Misha. Well, it has already been advertised, so I can only say: SUPER! Everything is always delicious, not expensive (we took, for example, soup, 2 servings of rice with seafood: such as risotto, 2 beers, squid rings, 2 juices - we paid about 200 thousand dong. ). The owner himself is very friendly, each time he gives salted peanuts and bananas as a gift, and even makes a discount of 5-10 thousand dongs. A trifle, but nice. Opposite a shop (Misha's friend), the prices are there, as in the market in Phan Thiet, so take it easy. By the way, he understands and speaks Russian well. HOW TO GO TO THE CITY (FANTHIET) 1 option (we always went like this). From the reception we go to the right, we reach the booth with the guards (this is the security of the hotel). We say: bass, six, Phan Thiet (that is, the sixth bus to Phan Thiet). They nod, offer to sit on a bench in the shade, and they themselves go out onto the road and catch this bus for you (the price is 16.000 VND). On the bus, say: Koup Mart (this is the local twilight market: 1st floor - food, 2 - clothes, 3 - souvenirs, 4 - food). And on the side in this building like McFoods: Lotteria (very reminiscent of McFoods). But WARNING! the last one from Phan Thiet goes at 17:30-18:00. Option 2: Shuttle bus (bus from the hotel). He is also paid and you need to agree with him in advance, otherwise he may not go. 3 option. Moped. We don't have category A licenses, so we didn't even bother with them. SPAKhrenovy. During the massage, they chatted among themselves in Vietnamese, constantly chatted on the phone, or even ran away somewhere. The guy's hands are rough - not nice. And not a massage therapist at all. In addition, (I went on a promotion: 3 times cheaper) they used the cheapest coconut oil. I have never encountered an allergy in my life, and then I had to go to the hospital, because suprastin and zodak: like a dead poultice! Face swollen 2 times, rash, itching. . They said it was Quincke's edema. Fortunately, the case was recognized as insurance. So…. TRAVEL AGENCIES. I'll give you an example right away. 2-day excursion to Nyachang: Vinpearl + Dalat. Pegas $160/person, Anex $150/person, Focus Asia $130/person, Natalia (first cafe) $110/person, Alex (in Phan Thiet) $100/person. The choice is yours). We took a 3-in-1 tour from our operator (Focus Asia): Mount Taku, Crocodile Farm and Mud ($85/person, Alex has $50/person), Alex has a 2-day tour, we went ourselves to the KeGa lighthouse and fishing at the Bao Ma hotel. ALEX Great guy! His office is located in Phan Thiet, opposite the same supermarket, Koup Mart (wide road with dividing lawn). There are many pavilions and one says SAIGON. That's where he lives (here is his cell phone in Vietnam 0918201875). Take it boldly, from our hotel he did not deceive anyone (we even had a Russian guide). In general, he helped us a lot! He suggested which ATM is better to withdraw money through, and even helped to withdraw (ATMs are in Vietnamese). Then he helped with the purchase of medicines: we told him what we needed, and he wrote on a piece of paper in Vietnamese to show at the pharmacy. They gave me what they needed. He also told us where the market is, how to get to it, how and where to buy cheaper. And once, when we were late, he came from home on a call and escorted us to the shuttle bus. In addition, you can exchange money with him at a favorable rate and order coffee, tinctures, etc. In a word, this is your boyfriend for Russians in Vietnam (he loves Russians very much, because he once lived in Moscow). EXCURSIONS. Be sure to take money with you, because some little things are not included in the price (cunning). 3-in-1: Mount Taku, Crocodile Farm and Mud. BE SURE TO TAKE! Mount Taku: there is the largest recumbent Buddha (you can make a wish) and a lift on the cable car. Crocodile farm: fed crocodiles, then ate crocodile and ostrich (included). Therapeutic mud and mineral springs: on the same territory as the farm. Very nice and all procedures are pleasant. 2 day tour of Winpearl. Entertainment island. I won’t write about him, because there is a lot of information on the Internet. I can only say that it is very fun, there is something to do and it is exciting that everything is free (although I paid for the entrance to the island). AWESOME water park, a shitty oceanarium, etc. A guide will accompany you there and you will be on your own all day there. Nyachang. You only spend the night there (2 * hotel, included in the price) + dinner is included (very modest, but we took it for $ 100 / person, so we were not upset). Well, we went to the market for souvenirs (MUCH, of course, cheaper). Dalat. A very difficult road: several hours of serpentine (take pills for motion sickness and try to sleep). BUT! it's worth it. Amazingly beautiful city! Lots of beautiful places where you can take pictures from all sides! We rode an elephant))) KeGa lighthouse. Exit the hotel and turn left. We walk for a long time, about an hour, or we all sit down on the same six, only in the other direction and say: KeGa (they land themselves, the Vietnamese have a phenomenal memory). We reached a village, there is a road to the left. But! a Vietnamese woman showed us the way, she stopped, showed a picture with a lighthouse and pointed out where we should go. It's between this road and the Vietnamese "houses". You wouldn't have guessed for anything! We went there and went to the pier, there a guy drove up to us. They bargained with him (in my opinion, 300 thousand dong for two), he brought a Vietnamese who took us to the lighthouse. There he waited for us and took us back. Upon arrival, they gave the money and so far! The place is not very touristy, so we were alone: romance. A guard sits on the island at the entrance, he needs to give 20 thousand dong / person and he will go to sleep, and you will climb (236 steps) to the lighthouse yourself. The view is awesome! But you need to be careful: there is not a soul around at all and the stairs are already worn out by time! Fishing in Bao Ma. I found out about her by accident. Exit the hotel and turn left. We don’t go very far, there will be a pond on the right side: perches and piranhas are bred in it especially for tourists. 80 thousand VND for 3 hours of fishing (not bad). Fishing is good! And one more thing that attracted us: they will cook the fish they caught with their own hands for a fee! Just WARNING! Warn them in advance to put less spices or not at all, because this is a Vietnamese hotel and they cook there in a local way. As much as my husband loves spicy, but it’s not that we didn’t feel the taste, even the smell of fish. Upset. .

Guys, 50% don't listen to any reviews. We rested at the hotel from 01/09/2012 to 01/20/2012. Super! Mosquitoes can't get rid of it, but they don't bother you much if you don't itch. And what you wanted is exotic. Without mosquitoes, I ask you to go to Spain or somewhere else... The hotel has about 50 rooms for about 100 people.

I don’t know why, maybe because of anti-advertising, but Russians don’t go there, but in vain. If you want peace and tranquility, this is the place for you! The whole civilization is 35 km from the hotel. Ride 1 hour on a local bus with a transfer (first No. 6 then at the same stop No. 1) costs $ 1.5 /. If by taxi (like a deu matiz $ 22, if like a minivan $ 30) one way. The food is great everywhere. In the hotel from the belly per person $ 20. In Mui Ne (35 km from the hotel) 10$. At 100 m from the hotel there is a local shaman (Exotic. The owner's name is Moon, that is, Misha in ours. Everything is 3 times cheaper). Living here is super: silence and all that. If you want to hang out, then you should go to the hotel area (Muine). For excursions, I definitely advise you to go to Dalat! Maybe a tour of the golden triangle. In general, if you take a tour, be sure to take it with Cambodia together. It's great there!!! !

Rested with my husband at the Rock Water Bay in a bungalow from 16 to 28 February 2011. First of all, when buying a ticket, carefully read where you will be placed. If this is a bungalow, then you are in...just like we are. And we ended up in the old abandoned part of the Rock Water Bay hotel, which is now a separate hotel called either Lang Spa or Kega Spa Village Resort (one sign on the road, another on the beach).

There is a reception building on the first line by the sea, where a Vietnamese girl sits, speaking and understanding only Vietnamese, across the road from the reception (that is, on the 2nd line from the sea) bungalows with thatched roofs and rather dusty and shabby furniture hid in the jungle, neither There are no fences or guards around, but there are all kinds of living creatures in large numbers - snakes, healthy black cockroaches, lizards croaking at night, mosquitoes and some creatures living in bed linen (whose bites itch for weeks).
In principle, bed insects strained most of all - since no funds brought with us had an effect on them - and we took with us everything that was - ointments, aerosols and a fumigator.
Further, I want to note that the bungalows are located on a hill, that is, bungalows with a number of more than 10 are quite high and not everyone can climb the stone steps to such a height, let alone drag suitcases there, but we managed : ) After a little skirmish with the lady from the reception - we managed to agree that we were moved lower. . but after 3 days.
Everything looks good in the room, the view from the window is beautiful, however, the shower on the floor, a colony of ants in the bathroom outside, a thick layer of dust on interior items, fungus on the walls, dirty curtains and shabby furniture immediately spoil the impression.
Now let's move on to breakfast and the hotel restaurant (we are talking about a hotel with a bungalow).
Breakfasts are the same every day - traditional soup, rice pancakes, vegetables, scrambled eggs, sausages, bread and something else, in principle - not bad, if it weren't noticeable that what the hotel residents don't eat - smoothly turns into the next day's breakfast and so on until it is completely destroyed.
The restaurant where you can have lunch and dinner is the same one where breakfast is served, and there is no reason to assume that for quite a decent price (2 times higher than in Mui Ne) you will be served freshly prepared food. We had dinner at the nearby Rock Water Bay, where there is quite a decent restaurant, but, in comparison with Mui Ne, the prices are 2-3 times more expensive.
Next, you need to look at the beach ...It is the property of the hotel ...However, like a garbage dump on the shore and in the sea. Every day, the sea throws mountains of bags, plastic cans, scraps ashore, which lie picturesquely on the sand.
Since the hotel is located on a cape, waves are constantly raging in the sea, and the hotel nearby is called ROCK water bay for a reason, as there are stone blocks in the water that break the waves, which makes the hotel beach completely unsuitable for swimming. The pool in this hotel is tiny and not suitable for swimming at all. But, again, all the inhabitants of our hotel went to the nearby Rock Water Bay and swam in their pool.
There is already a review about the remoteness of the hotel - it correctly says that it is 20 km to get to Phan Thiet, 40 to Mui Ne. And taxi prices are very decent - about 20 dollars for 40 km.
So it is not at all clear who gave this hotel 4 *. . He can hardly pull on 3 *.
In this place of KeGa there are absolutely no entertainment, shops, markets (not counting three shops 4 km away, where they sell coconuts and bananas).
The only place you can get yourself is the lighthouse. We rented bikes from the Rock Water Bay Hotel and rode 4km from the hotel.
For 60.000 dong (90r), one of the fishermen took us to the island where the lighthouse stands and patiently waited for our return. Entrance to the lighthouse cost another 20.000 dong (30r). Then, having made the ascent on foot along the spiral staircase, we got the opportunity to admire the surroundings. The tour turned out to be quite good. Nothing more to say about the hotel. .
We were moved to a lower room, but the bed fleas were there. So my husband and I packed our bags and spent the bulk of our holiday at a hostel in Mui Ne. The price of the issue is 11 dollars per room per day. From there we have already gone to Dalat and Nha Trang - at least we looked at Vietnam from a different, more pleasant side, otherwise the impressions would have been only negative ...
I would also like to say a separate "no thanks" to Coral Travel, which sent a hotel guide to this godforsaken hotel only on the 3rd day of our stay in it.
It’s good that my husband and I read reviews about the location of this hotel in advance and were able to get to Mui Ne on our own, where there are at least some amenities for tourists and, most importantly, a pharmacy and a first-aid post.

If you are choosing a hotel for your holiday in Vietnam (Phan Thiet area) and are considering the Rock Water Bay hotel, then you should consider some features: 1. The first and most critical, in our opinion, is the lack of the opportunity to go in and swim in the gentle sea, which you dreamed about when going to Vietnam. Waves of great strength and very intense knock down even near the shore, so that adult men cannot conquer this element, not to mention women and children. There were rumors that in this place, due to intense currents, funnels are formed in which people drown. On the beach there is a sign in Russian that "Swimming is prohibited! ". The hotel guards warn with concern and in every possible way drive tourists who went into the sea just to wet their feet. Therefore, the only option left is to swim in the pool. . . with sea water and chlorine. . . or just sit on the beach, ...... or an hour drive to the beaches in Mui Ne, where there are also waves, but you could swim in such a sea. Choose .2. Outside the hotel you will not find cozy cafes with local flavor, SPA-salons, ATMs, shops with fruits and souvenirs. Leaving the hotel, you can only see the road, bushes, garbage.... darkness and silence. . . Since the hotel is an hour's drive from Mui Ne, there is simply no choice of restaurant for the evening. You will be doomed to dinner at a hotel restaurant at prices 2-3 times higher than in a tourist place or at a restaurant in a neighboring hotel, where prices are lower, but not by much. Reminds me of the hopeless monotony of sanatoriums. . . 3. Service at the hotel is tolerable, for 3 stars. The staff does not speak English and does not understand even basic phrases, which we politely stretched out with particular clarity and syllables - we had to express ourselves in sign language. The hotel staff reacted promptly to our wishes, sincerely wanted to help, but not knowing the language greatly slowed down the process. Our air conditioning did not work for 2 nights, and the fan made painful rhythmic moans. Hot water appeared sporadically, so that I had to seize the moment to put myself in order . Going to the beach, if we still managed to get beach towels by the pool, they were yellowish in color, they were damp to the touch, and there was a strong feeling that the towels had not been washed at all. Once the standard towels ran out, we were given hand towels without an apology, so that we could lie closer to each other on the sunbeds By that time, the shock had already passed and we perceived everything with humor. 4. There was also a bummer with a number. We bought the highest category of accommodation in this De Luxe Ocean View Villa hotel, it was supposed that we would live in a separate bungalow overlooking the ocean. . . However, in fact, we lived in a room, the view from which rested on the rock, the ocean was only audible. This room did not look like a villa at all: it differed from the standard room only in that it had a small dressing room, where the sink, the entrance to the toilet and the entrance to the shower were located. There was also a sauna, but the door to it was boarded up. 5. Rock Water Bay is being sold as a 4-star hotel, although it would be more correct to rate it as a good three-star hotel and this hotel should cost a little less. 6. Since there is no way to visit other restaurants and shops, you will probably go for a walk along the deserted strip of wild beach that stretches on both sides of the hotel. There are picturesque views and a sense of the elements and wildlife, but overshadowed by mountains of garbage brought to the white sand from the sea. . . They ordered hot coffee for 2 days, and received it with ice. There is a remedy for bites at the reception. They answer indignation that they are also bitten! There is 1 Vietnamese woman for the whole hotel (sitting in the SPA building) Tamara speaks Russian and can solve something....

If you are choosing a hotel for a holiday in Vietnam (Phan Thiet area) and are considering the Rock Water Bay hotel, then you should consider some features:
1. Therefore, the only option left is to swim in the pool... with sea water and bleach... or just sit on the beach, ...... or an hour drive to the beaches in Mui Ne, where there are also waves, but in such a sea you can was to swim. choose
2. Outside the hotel you will not find cozy cafes with local flavor, SPA-salons, ATMs, shops with fruits and souvenirs. Leaving the hotel, you can only see the road, bushes, garbage....darkness and silence...
Hot water appeared sporadically, so that you had to seize the moment to put yourself in order. Going to the beach, if we still managed to get beach towels by the pool, they were yellowish in color, they were damp to the touch, and there was a strong feeling that the towels had not been washed at all. Once the standard towels ran out, we were given hand towels without an apology so that we could lie closer to each other on the sunbeds. By that time, the shock had already passed and we perceived everything with humor.
4. There was also a bummer with a number. We bought the highest category of accommodation in this De Luxe Ocean View Villa hotel, it was supposed that we would live in a separate bungalow overlooking the ocean... However, in fact, we lived in a room from which the view rested on the rock, the ocean was only heard.
6. Since it is not possible to visit other restaurants and shops, you will probably go for a walk along the deserted strip of a wild beach that stretches on both sides of the hotel. There are picturesque views and a sense of the elements and wildlife, but overshadowed by mountains of garbage brought to the white sand from the sea...
