We stayed in this hotel in September. Checked in on Saturday evening. The interior of the hall is interesting, but that's where all the pluses end. I note that initially we had to go to another hotel, but after reading the perfect reviews about this hotel, which are probably written by fellow countrymen of the staff of this hotel from one former CIS republic from different accounts, we rebooked the hotel for an additional fee through the Biblio-Globus specifically on Calypso, with decent surcharge. … More ▾ We stayed in this hotel in September. Bought for an interesting-looking design in the hotel. Behind the reception desk sat a dull-looking, bored girl from a well-known republic of the CIS. After looking at our Russian passports, without ever smiling, she began to fill in something on the computer. To our question about which side the windows of our room face, she sharply answered that there are still no other rooms available and in general you have paid for a standard room, and we give you with a balcony, despite that with a view of the neighboring hotel and garbage . We expected a warmer meeting. And the girl could offer to spend the night in this room, and if you don’t like it, try to change the room when the opportunity arises. Absolutely nothing explained to us, no time for breakfast, no where breakfast takes place, zero emotions. It was immediately evident from her behavior that the person was set up aggressively towards the citizens of Russia. But I confess to you, until we entered the hotel, we were in a great mood thanks to the wonderful Rossiya airline, which from Vnukovo delivered us to Rimini without delay, and the staff there was friendly and welcoming. The next day, the first breakfast was not bad, a young guy, Italian, worked in the breakfast room. The assortment was not great, but there were warm sausages, warm scrambled eggs, eggs, cucumbers and carrots, cut into strips. On this day (Sunday) good breakfasts are over! I don’t know who writes reviews about yogurts, etc. , since Monday, breakfast was only boiled eggs, butter, bread, one kind of cheese and two kinds of ham. As well as the above-mentioned cucumbers of not the first freshness and RAW cutlets cut lengthwise! The coffee from the coffee machine is acceptable, nothing bad to say. We didn’t remember any yoghurts, no one takes all sorts of muesli, because there is no warm milk to pour from. From fruit on the first day they gave pieces of pineapple, the rest of the days there was a terrible melon similar to a pumpkin to taste, cut into pieces 2x2 cm. )) On the last day there was a watermelon, once a week. No tomatoes, no olives, 2 more types of croissants were true: with and without filling. BUT, all this can be omitted, as we are not super gourmets and would be happy with a couple of coffee sandwiches, subject to the POLITE AND FRIENDLY attitude of the hotel staff. From the second day of my stay, another Russian-speaking girl from the above-mentioned former republic of the CIS worked in the dining room. My wife wanted to sit at a certain table that hadn't been cleared yet. Usually, in all normal hotels, in such a situation, they calmly clean the table and bring appliances. We were told in an orderly tone: "Sit down at another table, the day has not been cleaned! " In an aggressive manner, a la the dining room of the USSR in 1980. We were simply shocked by this collective farm. In the end, I had to eat on a table with crumbs, shifting the cutlery from the next table myself (( The final drop of our indignation was the lack of an early breakfast, which we asked for the night before at the reception for 6.30 am. Since our bus to Venice left at 7.20 and we were limited in time. Italian at the reception desk promised that croissants and coffee would be available. The hotel manager (one of the brothers) apologized to us for his staff, but the next day everything happened again, the boorish snarls of the waitress in the dining room, giggles and jokes with the manager's brother in Italian about us. I personally wanted to run away from this breakfast. We traveled to many countries and saw different categories of hotels, even in such backward countries as Cambodia and Sri Lanka, I have not seen such a boorish attitude of the staff. Perhaps the managers of this hotel have some kind of "romantic relationship" with the Russian-speaking young ladies, since they clearly feel very at ease in this hotel. There are no complaints about the cleaning of the rooms and the location of the hotel. It was always clean and the hotel was well located. Otherwise, the rest was spoiled badly, because. every morning I had to contemplate the ill-mannered, untrained, uncultured representatives of the former republic of the CIS independent in all places. If the hotel owners do not want to lose business, then the only right decision is to kick out such staff with a filthy broom and recruit normal trained Italians in their place, albeit more expensive.

The boorish and unfriendly attitude of the Russian-speaking staff of this hotel is simply amazing! We understood that this was a 3 * hotel, but we clearly did not expect such a dismissive attitude towards ourselves. Before the Italians, they fawn and smile, and Russians are considered second-class people. We will demand from the tour operator the replacement of the hotel and compensation for the spoiled vacation! Avoid this hotel!

And the hotel did NOT help me with the search for only 3 (!!! ) fellow travelers. Other tourists would also be interested in visiting these UNIQUE places, but we were all deprived of this. And even the director of the hotel, Senor Michele, openly laughed (! ) at my desire to go to Comacchio. Of course, the help would be paid. (Like turning on the split system for heating, because there were still cool nights in April. But he didn’t turn it on - perhaps the split is broken - it’s not possible to turn it on on his own, as well as open and close the blinds). He kept silent, motivated by not knowing the Russian language, but this is not so. (He is smart and speaks excellent Russian. ) Anything they needed for the hotel's benefit was quickly explained in Russian, such as the need to pay the city tax. Very sad. All you had to do was hang a printed text in Russian on A4 sheet about the search for 3 tourists who want to join a unique excursion on the information board at the entrance to the hotel and put a piece of paper near the board with the keys. Even without additional heating, puddles of water on the bathroom floor did not dry up, pouring out of a cramped and not quite correctly designed shower cabin. I had to constantly ask for a rag to wipe. There are no lunches or dinners at the hotel during off-season. For my money (and the price for a single does not match its quality, IMHO) I walked along the wall, I was afraid to once again bring the owners out of a state of shaky emotional balance. Cherry on the cake - in the evening before leaving, the senior director shoved me an old (! ) Used straw hat and called me to his hotel again !! ! I (! ) Was VERY ashamed of his act. It is hard to even imagine that such a level of education and disrespect for hotel guests is possible in Europe. It is NOT ethical to give old things to unfamiliar people, especially clothes to a woman (hotel guest). The disadvantages of the hotel are problematic management, non-working split-system (it is not possible to turn it on yourself, and the owners do not turn it on), lack of batteries in the rooms (they will freeze in the cold), monotonous breakfasts without hot and fruit, cramped rooms, a traumatic white step near the elevator, lack lunches and dinners out of season, problematic blinds, cramped and poorly designed showers, poor artificial lighting in the room. The advantages of the hotel are a convenient location, fast Wi-Fi, an iron (but they are not willing to give it), close to the train station and a mini market, a mini-yard near the hotel, a mini-fridge (paid! )

No one speaks Russian at the reception, they know some words. All issues are being addressed.
Free bike rental. The Internet is only at the reception, but someone on the 1st floor and in the room caught it.
There is a wide choice for breakfast, but it is better to come early. They did not figure out the system for issuing dry rations. They waved their hand.
There is a TV in the room, no Russian channels. Biggest negative: no fridge. Tile on the floor. There was always hot water. The bed was changed twice, towels every other day.

Meals are not included in the price of the tour, so we ate in those roadside restaurants where the guide brought us. The food and service is not very good, I didn't like it, but the prices bite. It is not clear by what criteria these “restaurants” were preferred, but the guide actively recommended them, apparently receives a percentage for delivered customers. In general, I was terribly tired, I didn’t really see anything, I also overpaid twice! My roommates advised me to turn to private traders, they themselves went on an excursion with a certain Victor, and were satisfied with the trip. But I was somehow afraid, I decided since this is a travel agency, everything should be of the highest standard there. In a word, disappointed.
