Well, here we are back from the Crimea.
We visited here for the first time, chose the Breeze-Morskoye hotel for accommodation: according to the description on the site, everything suited - food is included, reasonable price, there are all amenities.
In fact, the description really matches. But this, as they say, is my assessment, "if you do not look for flaws. " True, no one was specifically looking for them. Themselves, so to speak, asked for the eyes.
Firstly, there was a "jamb" during the settlement. According to the documents, we booked room 32 on the third floor. On the spot it turned out - 22 rooms and on the second floor. They showed us an electronic booking sheet that we filled out in Moscow - that's right, 22. Apparently, there was some kind of over-piping. Not fundamentally, of course, but could warn.
Further. The territory of the hotel is small, but green and well-groomed. Car owners will most likely find the parking lot small, but we weren't driving, so we didn't worry about that.
The room we got is quite cozy, decorated with wood. What was missing? Large mirror in the room. In addition, the table and chairs that appear in the description are plastic. They are good for gatherings on the balcony on a warm evening. As needed, the table was brought into the room, but definitely - a simple table, for example, a coffee table in the room is not enough. The bathroom is no longer perfect. The floor itself looks untidy - such an impression is created by dirty blue tiles and a yellowish uneven seam. The toilet lid is scratched, as is the shower tray. The same is with the walls in the room. They are white, so any stain catches the eye. Especially if it is large and yellowish, as it was with us. Not very nice.
The dining room is quite clean and the staff is friendly. Nutrition? We only stopped for breakfast. They are quite hearty and tasty here: as a rule, it is a sandwich, tea / coffee, some kind of porridge, an egg, pancakes, cottage cheese or something like that. Stayed a couple of times for lunch. In principle, not bad - due to the large and tasty portion of the soup. But usually they preferred to dine in the village or buy homemade meals from private traders - it was always tasty and satisfying. Dinners were not impressive: not enough. Yes, we may be gluttons. But after a busy day, you want to eat a hearty meal. Therefore, again, they preferred homemade or dining rooms.
By the way, on the hotel website it is indicated that, if necessary, a dry ration can be collected for a guest on the road. So, in fact, this ration will put you a maximum of a couple of sandwiches. We first encountered this when we left for an excursion early in the morning. They warned us in the evening, they answered us - no question, come earlier (at 7:30), we will feed. They came. We were served a sandwich, which included two slices of cheese instead of one, as usual. It turned out that this is our breakfast (which, by the way, was paid as usual). True, they agreed to compensate us for malnutrition in the morning - they gave us soup and a salad. In the future, we did this several more times, including before leaving home. Then we asked about dry rations and again heard about sandwiches. No, better soup on the eve of departure...
We also visited the local sauna. It's quite comfortable inside. But inside the "steam room" more than three people are unlikely to fit. There is a lounge with a table, TV and karaoke. No, it doesn't work. A small pool is also provided - they don’t pour water into it, why they couldn’t explain to us. In general, we sat, sweated, washed ourselves and back.
In general, the conclusion is this. The hotel is conceived and done quite well. But at the moment it needs repair and some kind of refreshment. Worn out, so to speak. And so - a normal affordable housing.

A very good hotel, offers great discounts on promotions, a convenient payment system - accommodation with breakfast is paid immediately, and lunch with dinner, or one lunch or dinner later. At the same time, there is a 20% discount on complex meals - in case of purchase of both lunch and dinner . The territory is magnificent, and palm trees, and bananas, green gazebos, a fountain, the sauna - the first visit is free.

The food is varied, there were chicken legs, and fish, and even squash pancakes. Not a single dish was repeated. The kitchen is homemade, the service -restaurant serving meals (hot). Everywhere is clean, comfortable. Room cleaning is daily. Everything in the room is made of natural wood, with a magnificent view of the sea from the loggia. No worse than in Turkey (we were there before). Thanks to the administrators Olga and Larisa Nikolaevna for their attention and organization of a wonderful, unforgettable vacation!!! !

If you go to the Crimea, then: there are 2 types of Crimea - steppe and mountain. I recommend the mountain, because in the steppe of the entertainments there is only a beach. The steppe is beautiful, there are fields of poppies, but there is nowhere to walk, except for the beach.
All the very best is located in the mountainous Crimea. The mountains stretch along the coast from Feodosia (Eastern Crimea) through the entire South Coast (Southern coast of Crimea) and end behind Sevastopol (this is the West Bank).
WB (East Coast) has a number of advantages:
1. More democratic in terms of prices.
2. The climate is great!
3. There are almost no accessible beaches in the south coast, in the zone of continuous cities (Alushta, Alupka, Yalta, Simeiz, Gurzuf, etc. ), flowing one into another and having the common name "Big Yalta" there are few free beaches and the sea is often not quite clean. Fruit and accommodation are expensive. And a lot more people. You have to go there “to skip dresses”, admire the Yalta palaces (Massandra, Livadia, Vorontsov Palace) and ALWAYS visit the Nikitsky Botanical Garden. Go there mostly lovers to hang out.
And you need to climb Ai Petri, although now the top of the mountain is occupied by the Tatars, no worse than the Arabs pestering everyone with offers to ride a camel or eat (I do not advise) in a barbecue shop. By the way, the Crimeans are much more tactful and not so unceremoniously impose their services.
East coast:
There are several places ideal for a happy holiday.
1. Pike perch. Oh, Sudak, city of the sun!!!
A relatively small town with a bunch of boarding houses, sanatoriums, private houses, etc. But! This is still a town, so it’s impossible to completely merge with nature.
2. New World. ALWAYS take a walk (and not on a boat, but along the path, if the child can stand it) along the Novy Svet bays. I have it in the album Path of Golitsyn. It's a fairy tale, it's incredible! Unfortunately, since last year, the descent to the Royal Beach was closed due to tourists littering on it. But anyway, I recommend it! For living, the New World is beautiful, but expensive. This is the most expensive place in Eastern Crimea. Needless to say - there is even a recreation center for astronauts, and they relax there for a reason! There is also a champagne factory there. If you buy REAL champagne ("New World", "Lev Golitsyn"), then THERE! Already in Sevastopol - fakes. And the rest of the wine on the East Bank is MUCH better and cheaper than on the West Bank. After the Crimean wine, I can’t even look at our “champagne” - slop...
3. Koktebel - I’ve been passing through, I didn’t really look at it... But there is a factory of branded cognac there - you can stock up on gifts.
4. Morskoye village!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY vacation spot!! ! Small village, the longest beach. Nothing special - a village as a village. Houses immersed in greenery, roses all around like cabbage heads, everything is entwined with grapes, the air - OOOO! The aromas of mountain herbs, the smell of sea water, heated pebbles! How it sparkles in the surf - a scattering of precious stones! Every year I bring her home... If you go there, then you need to take with you ALWAYS: 2 swimsuits (while one dries, swim in the second), beach rubber flip flops (you just can’t get through anything else), a cap (baseball cap) and a bedding on beach + sundress or pareo. For a woman (although everything can be bought on the spot): hand cream (the skin of the hands dries very much), for the face, and from sunburn / for sunburn / after sunburn, etc. . Burn in the sun there - just spit!
+ shorts, several T-shirts, sneakers or slippers with rubber soles such as sneakers (for climbing mountains) and a jacket (jumper, jacket) in 1 copy - after sunset, go for a walk. Nothing more from the clothes (well, socks / shorts) is probably not needed. Buy or borrow an umbrella on the spot! They are sold everywhere! Otherwise, burn!
For accommodation in Morskoy: climb the groups I marked, there are links to all boarding houses and hotels, there is also a private sector. I don’t really recommend the private sector: it’s lazy to mess around with pots, but children need to be fed. There are cafes and canteens, but it will not be very economical. And hot water can be a problem.
From year to year we go to the boarding house Briz Morskoye. If you write there (to Moscow, the Rubes-Tour company), write to Yulia Nasedkina - a very nice girl, she is in charge of booking). In my opinion, it is optimal in terms of price / quality / proximity to the sea. The food is delicious and the rooms have all the amenities. And, if you go on an excursion, you can agree - they will give you dry rations with you. And wash, if anything. In general, with you - only rest! Of course, this is not a ***** hotel, but you can relax comfortably.
The beach is pebbles, it is certainly more difficult to walk on it than on sand, but the sea is clean and transparent. And where there is sand, there the waves disturb it and it turns out dirty.
The rest is in my photos. It was in them that I tried to confess my love for the Crimea! And all the places I have listed are there.
Yes! You can also visit the children's water park in Sudak.
Another place you DO NOT want to visit: Zelenogorye (see photo). If you want, I'll tell you more about it. Briefly I can’t - my favorite place on earth is Zelenogorye! It is better to go there (and to Sudak) by driver. You will meet a lot of them on the way to the sea. We have "our" driver, his name is Igor. He has a Chevrolet-Lanos, He knows the Crimea at 5, loves it very much and drives great. Even on a mountain road with him is not scary! If you think about it, I'll give you his phone number, you can ask him to meet you at the airport (train station). Everyone knows Igor! By the way, you can buy an excursion to Yalta and the Nikitsky Botanical Garden + palaces, and to the water park in Sudak - guides sit under umbrellas on the streets and sell them. And if you go to Zelenogorie or other places, it’s better to take a car (I highly recommend Igor), because the child can get tired, Igor can easily put him in the car to rest, but not on a general excursion.
In addition to wine, everything is brought from Crimea:
Herbal teas (very healthy)
Honey (there are incredibly many varieties of honey, as well as jam).
Aroma oils. They are sold both in the Marine and in the botanical garden and in general everywhere!
Crafts from shells
VERY inexpensive clothes, but if you want, hit the market and shop in Sudak - in the Marine there is a small selection, mostly lurex sequins. A sort of Turkish-Chinese chic…
I don’t advise you to buy varnished crabs: they will break and stink...
When to go:
If there is a choice, then, for me, it is best in June:
1. Sweet cherry (see photo - this is not photoshop - from nature ! ! : )))
2. Less people
3. The sea is cleaner
4. No heat itself
5. low prices.
6. waterfalls are fed by melting snows and at this time they are quite full-flowing.
