I decided to make myself a present for the new year and go to India. It's nice to come from winter to summer. I often do this. Hotel VIVANTA BY TAJ - HOLIDAY VILLAGE 5 * pleased with its cleanliness, well-groomed territory, its own beaches. This is one of the main advantages of the hotel. Wi-fi, unfortunately, is paid.

Room cleaning even twice a day. Snack bar by the pool, very convenient. I also note the spa center with yoga, meditation, and the whole set of standard procedures. Rest was very satisfied.

The area is really amazing! Lots of greenery, palm trees, flowers! The hotel consists of one- and two-story buildings. It is located right next to the wide beach, on the beach there are sun loungers and umbrellas from the hotel. The room had everything you needed: free safe, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, and even an iron and ironing board! The room was in good condition, nice and clean.

Wi-fi in the hotel is paid, but catches well.
I also liked the location of the Vivant hotels: both of them, Holiday Village and Fort Aguada, are literally a 2-minute walk from shops and restaurants, that is, you are not confined to one hotel, which is very convenient, especially in the evening.
The hotel really does not pull on a 5 * deluxe, although its cost is not small. But for a high-quality five - quite.
Food, service - everything was great!

Subjective opinion - this is not a VIP hotel. The territory is shared with Vivanta by Taj Fort Aguada 5 * (you can walk along the beach, you can order a free shuttle to the reception). Rooms - bungalow type, scattered over a very large area. Rooms, service, food excellent. The beach is wide but! ! drain from the pipe and a pile of garbage.

Stayed at this hotel a month ago. The tour was ordered from the tour operator "Sun International" on Khreshchatyk. Initially, they planned another hotel in South Goa (all inclusive), but the manager said that he was on the foot and offered her options, several 4-5 star hotels. She also said that it is better to take only breakfast at the hotel, since the food there is very spicy and it is better to eat yourself in different cafes, ordering non-spicy dishes.

(Later we realized that it is better to invite at least breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Just there, less spicy food and you can choose better continental food). We chose the most expensive Holiday Village offered, as the manager said that she was there and the hotel is just super. The hotel area consists of separate houses surrounded by greenery, each of which has its own terrace, sunbeds, etc. We chose a house-number of two rooms (entrance hall and bedroom) with a terrace, everything is as it should be. We looked at the photo. All liked it.
The transfer flight took about 14 hours. We arrived in Goa at 4.30 am, we were at the hotel at 6.00 am. Immediately upon arrival, the hotel manager said that our room was still occupied and we would have to wait until 12.00-14.00. And we sat in the lobby with our things all this time. At 12.00 we were informed that the room was ready and were taken to settle. It turned out that we had booked a room on the second floor in a two-story house designed for 4 rooms. The room has one room and the balcony is shared with the neighboring room! ? I called the hotel manager - he said that it was this room that we had booked, and in order to be moved to a separate house, you need to pay about $ 300-350. Of course they didn't move. I called Sun International - the manager said she would clarify and report the next day. On the trail. the day she wrote that it was her mistake, she did not know that this hotel has such houses! ? and that they were told that the hotel all the rooms are separate. And at first she said she was here.
The second moment - the house in which we were settled was in the farthest corner of the hotel from the sea and from the restaurant overlooking the fence of the neighboring guest house. Later we saw that half of the hotel rooms were empty and it was possible to settle us much closer to the sea, even in a similar room. Even the room next to us, overlooking the sea, and not the neighboring plot, was empty. Therefore, the first impressions obviously spoiled the whole vacation.
In general, the territory of the hotel is beautiful and green, but the attitude towards CIS tourists is not very good. Managers do not communicate in Russian, they only know English and local.
