About the hotel: The hotel is not bad, the staff is friendly. The first impression was bad, the room was not cleaned after the previous residents (I mean the garbage), they turned on the air conditioner - it dripped into the room. Reported to the reception - everything was quickly fixed. In the room: TV, air conditioning, fan, mini-bar, telephone, shower, toilet.

There is no safe in the room, they left the money like that - no one took it, then they showed us a common safe near the reception, this is a room with two doors that are locked with a key, there is a large rack with separate boxes in the room, each box has a safe. Put money in there too. All OK.
Regarding the room: The doors in the room are cardboard and wooden, so there is no soundproofing. Bed linen and towels are clean but gray and have henna stains. It's just worn out over the years. Bed linen and towels were taken with them.
There are no living creatures in the room like cockroaches, ticks, rats, etc.
Only there are ants (they lived on the 1st floor at the exit to the pool) which, after the raptor was turned on, died in 5 minutes.
The room will be cleaned only if you ask about it at the reception, towels are also changed. If you leave a dollar, you will be the most beloved guest.
The pool is chlorinated, swimming is not scary. Every morning at 6 am it is cleaned.
Breakfast without frills - satisfactory. The manager Begam is a very responsive woman and helps in various matters (without money). There were problems with the tour. operator - she contacted the office on her own so that we were informed about the transfer.
Go to the sea 800 m. So it's better to rent a bike or take a rickshaw for 30-50 rupees.
We would return to this hotel again and again.
Where to eat and shop: The hotel is located near supermarkets, a bunch of cafes, and Hindu tents with souvenirs.
On the beach there are necks where you can eat. If you buy something in a cafe, a sunbed and an umbrella are yours for the whole vacation.
Wi-Fi is good and free in the neck of Fanta Sea, they also serve delicious food and fulfill your every whim.
I would like to mention the Coco`s shake, which was reviewed here 2 years ago. Apparently advertising played its role, and Coco`s neck got a lot of visitors who, as a result, do not want to go back there again. The owner ate, the prices are the same as everywhere else, and the seafood smells spoiled. The fruits also smell sour. In addition to it, there are a bunch of other cafes that will gladly provide you with quality service, and if something is wrong, they will immediately replace everything.

My husband and I went to Goa for the first time. For a long time we could not decide on a 2 * hotel. My husband and I went to Goa for the first time. For a long time we could not decide on a 2 * hotel. We read all sorts of horror stories in the reviews, but after studying the reviews about this hotel on foreign sites, they took a chance. And they were not mistaken! Transfer from the airport was private. We arrived at 18:00. evenings. They settled in right away. The room is huge, 60 m2. Clean, modest furniture, large refrigerator, plasma, air conditioning, 2 fans, kettle, 2 balconies and round the clock hot water. The windows of the room overlooked the pool and the restaurant. Cleaned the room upon request. But the cleaning was done very well, a tip of 20 rupees + sweets. Towels are also changed on request, at least twice a day. The staff is polite, helpful, they try to speak Russian. The pool is cleaned every morning. Many swam in the morning, before breakfast. They take care of the territory of the hotel - they wash, sweep, water it. The restaurant is a special conversation. I give it an EXCELLENT mark! Clean!! ! Tasty!! ! And not expensive!! ! The waiters are guys from Nepal, polite, helpful, attentive. They always smile and strive to fulfill all wishes. A small tip and a box of "Evening Kyiv" - a small thank you for the good mood.
The hotel is located in the center of Benolim village. Everything is nearby: 2 supermarkets, bazaars, shops, currency exchange, bank,
Taxi. To the beach on a straight road 10 min. You can also take a taxi or tuk-tuk for 50 rupees. ($1=50.2 rupees) It takes 3 minutes. The ocean is super! Warm, clean, majestic! The sand is white, clean and creaks underfoot. There are few people. Mostly foreigners. It is better to choose sheki (cafes) away from the entrance to the beach. It's cheaper and there are fewer people. All sheks are clean, the waiters are polite, the menu is varied. Each shack has a toilet, a shower, sometimes even a small library! Sunset on the ocean is a special enchanting sight. But it gets dark quickly. Take a flashlight with you.
From Benolima beach you can walk along the coastline for 10-15 minutes to Colva beach. Then walk around the shops and markets of Colva. I recommend buying spices: saffron, vanilla, cardamom. And medications from Himalaya. Spices in local shops are cheaper than spice plantations. (There is such an excursion). You can buy massage oils and Ayurveda cosmetics.
Fresh fruit, cheap and tasty. We even ventured to drink cane juice with lime. Yummy! Nobody got poisoned!
We chose two excursions: 1. Waterfall, spice plantation and elephants; 2. temples and churches of Old Goa and Panaji. Tours are expensive.
It is better not to go on the first excursion with small children. The road is long and very tiring. Children themselves suffer (then they are not up to monkeys) and others are disturbed by constant crying.
In short, the vacation was a success. The main thing is to tune in to positive emotions, give others smiles. Take some chocolates and some sweets with you. This will help you make friends with the local staff and bring joy to their children.
A depressing impression was left by some vacationers from Russia. More women are killed. They drink a lot, swear (even with their own children! ) Ambition reaches pathology. They don't consider locals to be people. Treat them with contempt and rudeness. I am very ashamed of this people. In response to the question "Where are you from? ", they answered that we are not from Russia, we are from Ukraine. By the way, many people from Ukraine work in Goa. And they are treated well. But I met vacationers from Ukraine only at the airport.
You can also buy Old Monk rum, fabrics, and jewelry in Goa. There is good tea, but very expensive.
And yes, the climate. Warmly + 30-32 during the day and + 21-25 at night. Humidity is not felt. The water in the ocean is +27.
The country is quite poor, but they don't steal. There was no safe in the room, but neither documents nor money were missing from the closed suitcase. On the beach, they always left a bag with money and phones on the sunbed. Maybe the fact that foreigners were resting nearby, no one coveted our bags. Shek waiters also keep an eye on things.
. Whoever wants a more active and noisy holiday, go to North Goa, and who wants to take a break from the noisy bustle, admire nature, the ocean, the sound of the surf, sunsets, communicate with the local population, get to know the national flavor, then come here to Benolim.
I recommend this hotel.

Hello! I will do a good deed and write the first review about this hotel . . Basically, our vacation was focused on the sun and the ocean, so we decided to save as much as possible on accommodation in order to fully enjoy the local flavor, nature and food, which, in principle, we did not regret, but. . .
The hotel is located in the tourist heart of the village of Benaulim, which is very convenient, because. in the immediate vicinity there are several good supermarkets and the sale of all kinds of necessities (fruits, clothing, currency exchange, etc. )
Go to the sea for at least 10 minutes on a straight road or you can take a taxi / tuk-tuk for 50 rupees one way.
Now about the hotel: the territory is minimal, the hotel has only 19 rooms, there is a swimming pool, it seems to be clean, but we didn’t risk it . . A young guy works at the reception, not boom-boom in Russian. They settled us on the 3rd floor overlooking a wonderful landfill and a noisy road, but because We only slept in the room and it didn't bother us at all. In the room: double bed, sofa, table, wardrobe, TV, air conditioning and fan, bathroom with hot (! ) water. Everything is working properly. TV is true without Russian channels, but this is not a problem. These are pluses! Cons: a lot of dirt and a constant unpleasant smell, most likely due to humidity. Everything in the room is dusty, the bin is in pieces of dirt, but gray bugs of an incomprehensible breed roam the room, but they seem to be harmless) They clean it only if you ask the reception for this service after leaving the room key there. We ordered cleaning 1 time, then we realized that it does not make sense. They left 50 rupees on the bed, in the evening they came to the room, hoping to see glimpses of cleanliness there... they realized that the cleaning was done only after the disappearance of fifty dollars from the bed)) I'm lying! They also took out the garbage from the dirty trash can and changed one of the two towels. On one of the nights, a rat (mutant) got into our room, most likely through the balcony . . I woke up from the rustling of fruit bags on the table, as if someone was conducting an audit in them, looking at my husband... sleeping! It became scary as never before, and in order to turn on the light you have to go through the whole room! I wake up my husband, I drive him to turn on the light, he gets up without understanding anything and goes to the switch and then bam !! ! Let there be Light! I’m watching a monster of unrealistic sizes sit right “booty” on my cosmetic bag and look for something in the bags... I scream, she jumped on the floor and under the bed! No one has ever seen her again, I know for sure, because I never slept again, I was always awake, even at night! The next day at the reception, the guy answered me: Mouse it's good! And he smiled so sweetly)) And of course everything was not bad.
We had breakfast, as it should be on a tour, at the hotel. Croutons, scrambled eggs to choose from, tea / coffee. Everything was delicious!
The review referred only to the hotel, just to spend the night the place is normal but no more!
The holiday in general was fabulous! There is beauty all around, the ocean is like fresh milk, people are all kind and helpful!! ! Separately, I want to say about food on the beach: we tried to eat in almost all the beach shakes of Benaulim, it’s delicious everywhere, but we still stopped at one, especially cozy one: Coco`s shake (4th shake to the right of the main entrance to the beach, right behind Rogers ). The owner of the establishment is Nepalese, their cuisine is especially tasty and inexpensive! I will answer your questions!
