We wanted to get a comfortable hotel, if possible, not too expensive, clean, with good service by the pool. The distance from the beach was not important because we originally planned to rent a bike. In general, the hotel met all the requirements and even more. If you need a beach nearby, then this is definitely not here) A couple of kilometers on foot to the beach is not an option, but a bus takes you twice a day, but again, we still took a bike.

Although, if you wish, you can walk to the beach, but the streets are dirty. But in the hotel, compared with the area, it's just a paradise. Clean comfortable. Good swimming pool. There is even a spa and gym. Several restaurants of Indian, Italian cuisine but Italian is a bit pricey. Our tour included breakfasts of a lot of Indian food, but there is also European food, so don't wake up hungry. Well, then you choose, we often dined at the hotel. I really liked the number. Spacious with good furniture did not even expect that it would be so good and comfortable. . We were treated as if we were the dearest guests, it was very pleasant. In general, people in this country are very friendly. . Internet is free only in the lobby but it was enough for us to contact the house. For the kids there is a mini club and a children's section in the pool, but there are few families with children. In general, if you want comfort and tranquility, you are here!

The hotel left a pleasant impression. The rooms are very well equipped, everything is of the highest class, very comfortable bed, beautiful view from the window. The hotel has a swimming pool with a children's section and a bar where you can sit without leaving the pool. There is also a spa and massage parlor, several restaurants, a souvenir shop at the service of tourists.

The staff is smiling and pleasant, there is also a Russian manager.
The hotel is not very suitable for those who are important walking distance to the beach. The shuttle from the hotel runs three to four times a day, 7-9 minutes drive. The same amount to get to the main street with a large bazaar and discos.

Stayed for a week at this hotel. The staff was very nice, everyone was extremely polite and tidy. Settled immediately, a few hours earlier, did not have to wait for the check-in time. The room was a standard double, on the first floor of a quiet distant building. The territory is small, so we didn’t have to go far, but the sounds of the evening disco almost didn’t reach us.

A large (triple) bed with a high mattress and a soft feather bed was to our liking. The room had a refrigerator, TV, safe, fumigator, slippers, air conditioning and a fan, but there was no hair dryer and bath, only a shower behind a curtain (a big minus).
The room was cleaned every day, but in the end they forgot to leave either a fresh towel or shampoo.
The territory, as already mentioned, is small, densely built up, there is a main multi-storey building (ground floor: a banquet hall, a reception, a cafe, a spa, a restaurant and a lounge on the second floor), a small four-story building and separate cottages. There are two pools: a large one with a lawn and an indoor bar where you could drink without getting out of the water, and a smaller one, for those who like privacy, around the corner.
The nearest beach (Baga) is far away on foot, but there are free shuttles every three hours. In fact, it's just a taxi at the expense of the hotel, you have to go to the reception and declare that you are going to Baga. Then they call a passenger car or several, depending on the number of people.
The cuisine was varied, many vegetarian dishes, also spicy and national. Few fruits, lots of ice cream.
In general, the hotel left a good impression. There were few Russian tourists, mostly English and numerous Hindu families.

The hotel is just super, by Ghanaian standards it is generally chic! Better in northern GOA, except perhaps Hayati. We arrived very early in the morning (4 am), settled right there without any problems, they also offered tea at the reception while filling out the cards. At first, everything was somehow gray, the food was also somehow not very good, but then they settled down, tasted it and liked everything.

We arrived very early in the morning (4 am), settled right there without any problems, they also offered tea at the reception while filling out the cards. At first, everything was somehow gray, the food was also somehow not very good, but then they settled down, tasted it and liked everything. were with friends in other hotels and realized that our hotel is a palace! the staff is friendly and responsive. everything was provided at the first request without any problems. We had all inclusive, we were satisfied with the food in the hotel restaurant Mango - there was everything for every taste, very varied and for every taste. there are not many spicy products, and in the end, for a greater variety, we have already tried and fell in love with these products. Baga beach is party, we liked ashvem the most - a taxi from the hotel for 6 - mineven for 800 rupees, you can arrange a round trip. Tour operators should not take excursions at all. Fish party sucks. It’s better to go to a baba and order seafood in a cafe, it’s cheaper and tastier. and on the beach of ashvem, a large two-kilo lobster was prepared for us for 50 dollars, so the six of us ate. we took another one - goa for the whole day and then regretted the taxi is much more convenient and cheaper. we went to Cola Beach and Paradise by taxi - it's much cheaper. in short, the best thing is who knows how to ride a bike, rent a bike and ride everywhere. the road is dangerous, so for those who are afraid of extreme taxis, that's what you need. the main thing is to bargain everywhere. . . the hotel is clean and beautiful, the rooms are the cheapest good, really. the bathrooms are not ideal, some have a slightly let down shower, some have a shelf. . . in short, the bathroom does not pull on a 5-ku, but we were quite satisfied. friends had a room a little more expensive, so everything was very super for them, both the bathroom and the room. the area is groomed. on the territory we saw a snake a couple of times, but this is a rarity here. One staff immediately caught and eliminated, the other saw me herself and immediately fled. you should not be afraid, I myself am madly afraid of them, but then I ran after her myself to take a picture. In short, choose this hotel and do not hesitate. The only downside is that it's far from the beach. . But there are practically no such hotels near good beaches, except perhaps a couple and the price is twice as high, there is no point in paying more, because you still ride on different beaches. The state is large and it is stupid not to travel around it. Great budget bud. I always rest everywhere in such fives, so this is the only hotel I want to return to. If I go to Goa again, I will definitely stay here. I fell in love with India. If you have any questions - write - I will answer!

1. Arrival.
Dabolim Airport surprised by the hustle and bustle. The meeting party, Le Passage to India, was not impressed. We were taken to the hotel, handed an envelope and left. Settled themselves, after almost a day on the road. All the same disorganization and confusion. But again, we were lucky, and instead of the booked standard, we got a Superior Suite without any additional payments.
2. Tour operator.
Not impressed. Special thanks to the guides Roman and Kristina for the exciting excursions. It is clear that they love the country. The hotel guide did not come to the first meeting on December 31, although we waited for her at the reception for an hour. I had to call and, lo and behold, she still appeared to our eyes on January 3rd. Sold excursions and disappeared again. We solved all our numerous problems ourselves.
3. Hotel.
Worth a separate paragraph. An amazing place in every sense of the word.
The official star rating of the hotel is 4+. Plus, as for me, superfluous. Whoever passes him off as an A, let him be alone with his conscience. Our room was spacious, two-story, with a kitchen and a large bathroom. They took it out of hand badly, both for money and without it. Dishes taken out of the rooms were kept on the stairs and railings for days. Two days before departure, they deigned to fill the minibar and, upon check-out, they tried to charge a bill for the 2 liter bottles of water we allegedly drank. Any requests were processed from the 3rd kick. Although they rested on the All Inclusive system, they regularly tried to slip us bills for the drinks we had already paid for. The ironing bill, paid in cash on December 31, regularly, as if by magic, popped up on the account of the room until the very eviction. In total, we spent almost 20% of our time at the reception.
3. Baga.
Rare hole. The beach is terrible, filthy, dirty, packed to the brim with Indians in faded shorts.
We visited on January 1st. They physically made their way to the water through the crowds of half-naked drunken individuals, grabbing their hands and filming everything that happens on the phone.
4. Trade.
Trade anytime, anywhere. Prices go up 4-5 times. Do not make concessions - leave, they will run after you and agree to your price.
5. About the positive.
Excursion "All Goa in 1 day". Super! Intense, informative, interesting.
Ashvem and Mandrem beaches.

Hello! We were in North Goa at the Rio Resort Hotel from December 31 to January 8.2012. The main disadvantage of this hotel is its location. The nearest bad Bagi beach is a 5-minute taxi ride. In some places it was written that you can walk to the beach, but this is not so. Another lie is that free shuttle buses run from the hotel.

In fact, there are none. The hotel is on the outskirts, so local taxi drivers break prices in three ways (plus it was the peak of the season). The hotel is not 5 star. The hotel seems to be new, but the shower works strangely, half broken, the air conditioner roars so much that I put a pillow on my head at night. In short, this hotel is not worth the money. For example, we went to visit a 3-star hotel on Kandolim beach and it was just smaller, but it’s not worse at all!
We went to the beaches of Vagator, Mandrem and Ashvem. About our nearest beach, Bagi, everyone said in unison that there was horror, horror, so we didn’t even go there. I didn't like the Vagator either. There are stones, cows and a bunch of merchants. Much better on Mandrem. But most of all I liked Ashvem. (One way trip - 400-500 rupees, 2 ways - 800). There are no cows, the beach is huge, beautiful palm grove. As a result, we rented a bungalow there for 1 night for 2000 rupees with amenities. This place is called Babu huts & pagna cafe. I advise everyone! Quiet place, very tasty inexpensive food, everything is brought quickly!! ! They experienced real peace there. Just take a blanket with you, as it gets a little chilly at night. In general, the choice of houses for every taste and wallet on this beach is very large. But since we were at the New Year holidays, almost all the houses there were occupied.
In general, if I were you, I would look for another hotel for that kind of money (we were on New Year's holidays and gave 120 thousand rubles for two with a flight).
