All this time we could not find the perfect place for a vacation in the Carpathians, which would suit us. Every year, visiting different places in the Carpathians, we were constantly not completely satisfied with the rest, emphasizing the significant shortcomings.
For myself, I concluded that none of the mountain hotels we visited were presented at the same time all 3 items we were looking for: QUIET, CLEANLINESS, SERVICE.
Our entire tourism business was able to offer two out of three and no more, no matter how much money it cost. Among all the proposals, as a rule, there were 2 main types of recreation:
- hotel complexes, where there was service and cleanliness, but there was no silence, it was ants, I can not call it a holiday.
- a cottage in the yard with the house of enterprising locals - here you could find silence and (not always) cleanliness. The service did not smell.
And so we really found what we were looking for "Quiet Farm". All this time he was almost under our noses (130 km from Chernivtsi). This is a hotel complex, which is located quite high in the mountains, away from the road and villages, and has 12 small cottages for about 40 guests. That's why we were able to find silence here that we could not find in other hotels.
For us, "Khutir Tykhy" is a solid plus, where it is difficult to find any disadvantages, but I will try to objectively describe all the pros and cons of the eco-resort.
Pros:
- very high quality service and friendly staff. There are young people who love their work and do it perfectly.
- Cleanliness in the cottage - when we go to the hotel, we always look in the refrigerator and dishes. As a rule, they reflect the real situation. Here is the absolute frequency, no smells of raw meat and other signs of previous guests.
- complete silence around - we did not notice the stay of guests in other cottages and in the complex, although, judging by the transport in the parking lot (with video surveillance), at least half of the rooms were occupied. By the way, the restaurant is open until 9, so in the evening no one makes noise and does not disturb the peace of guests.
- Restaurant where they cook perfectly delicious food. The food is very tasty, in addition, the cost of living includes a wonderful breakfast that can be brought directly to your home.
- WiFi and internal telephony. Yes, for such a place high in the mountains (1000 m above sea level) it's cool! You can just dial the administration or restaurant and order everything from home.
- the approach to the design and design of rooms is beyond praise. Everything is chosen with taste, I do not want to leave the room.
- a huge number of health services and recreation provided by the complex (I will not list everything, many seasonal, everything can be found on the website of the eco-resort).
- air and nature - spruces grow near cottages and their branches touch the veranda, breathe like in a pine forest.
- pricing policy - despite the rather high prices, the administration
Minus (he is one for us):
- traditionally it is a bad road to Khutor. This disadvantage is usually not directly related to the hotel itself, but it can not be said. The last 45 km (from Tudov and beyond) is horror and hell, there are places on the road where even jeeps go at a speed of about 10 km / h. What I would like is to improve the last 800 meters of the climb directly to the hotel. Quite a bad road, there is a suspicion that in winter we simply will not go there.
I would like to wish the eco-resort "Quiet Farm" further development and prosperity, we are now your regular customers.
About the place ...
The Carpathians are, by default, beautiful landscapes, fresh air and unforgettable emotions. But such (!!! ) landscapes have not been seen for a long time.
On the farm and really quiet. Not only quiet, but very calm. It seems that even an hour is resting here: no one is in a hurry, everyone is friendly, smiling at each other, wishing good divination, health, like old acquaintances.
Regarding service ...
Here is everything that may be needed in the rooms (I do not want to list, because this information is in the promotional materials). I will add that the houses are warm, clean and very cozy.
As for the haircut ...
It was the biggest surprise. On the way to Serhiy we were looking for snow that had not yet melted: the combination of flowering trees against the background of snow, which covered the tops of the hills, looked unusual.
And when we arrived (and it was in the afternoon), the air temperature was + 15C (for the mountains - more than warm).
But when I woke up the next morning, everything was covered with a 10-centimeter ball of snow. I returned to my childhood in a moment, and this childish and festive mood accompanied us all the time.
I would like to thank the staff of Khutir Tykhoho. Everyone we had to talk to was very friendly.
In short, got incredibly wonderful emotions !!! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
The trip began with the fact that we arrived at Easter : )
What turned out to be a surprise for us, nothing worked and even transport did not go, very believing people are here!
I had to order a transfer, but it is not cheap 1000 UAH.
a few more words about Roads : ) they simply don't exist there. . . it's short, but that's the way it is. . . there are no roads!
Now about the first impressions, they are wonderful, starting from the fact that you are at an altitude of over 1000 meters above sea level, you feel the freshness and purity of the air and just an energy boost, it's wonderful, it's actually simple, even for one day to come to feel this power of the Mountains, these Views, this air! It's worth it!
We lived in a house, in the most standard one, it was called Chalet "Comfort". but at the same time, you can live in it not only together, but also with a company, it is two-story with a bed and a large sofa, the supplement for a person costs 300 UAH.
The house itself is beautiful, spacious, with a very beautiful view, with large floor-to-ceiling windows, with a ceiling with Ukrainian-style paintings, and everything is made of wood, it is very cozy and warm (fortunately there were four or five heaters) what else I want to note is the water, it simply delicious and flows directly from the tap, and the hair after such water is gorgeous !! ! (girls will especially appreciate! )
The territory, not very large, of the hotel itself, but since you can walk into the mountains and into the Forest, it becomes simply huge : )
What lives in this Eco Hotel are different animals, from rabbits, goats, sheep, horses, to badgers, foxes, deer.
Food: the price included breakfasts, with a choice of a couple of dishes, they cooked deliciously, especially liked the service, you could ask for apples and they brought them to us in an hour, if for example they ran out of them, as well as "legendary" well, for us we have it adored Uzvar : )
prices are comparable to Kiev restaurants, since there is no competition and there is only one restaurant on the territory, and I don’t know how much to the nearest one, but obviously it’s not half an hour’s walk... but they cooked deliciously, ate borscht, and various pickles, etc.
The hotel also provided the opportunity to hire a transfer for excursions, since I am a photographer and the girl who was with me is also a photographer, we did not miss the chance to ride in the Carpathians, we managed to visit a waterfall, a pass, and a mountain lake (ala sinevir) a lot of fun, and a comfortable car (there are no roads! : ) )
What else I would like to tell you is about the weather, when we arrived there was a fog, a beautiful mountain, the next day it was raining a la such an autumn, then it was summer, the sun was warm, well, it was SNOW for the rest of the days : ) yes, for 5 days in the Carpathians we visited all seasons of the year : )
it was unbelievable, the snow completely piled up above the knees : ) fabulous!! ! : )
So, Thanks to Turparvda and the wonderful hotel “Eco Hutir Tihiy” for the opportunity to take wonderful photos and have a lot of fun!
Recommend!
My husband and I took part in this competition, took another honorable place and won accommodation at the eco-resort "Quiet Farm" for 3 days.
We settled down on Thursday, March 30, and stayed there until April 2.
"Khutir Tykhy" fully justifies its name, because it is very cozy, no one interferes and there is an opportunity to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. The landscapes of the Carpathians are simply stunning.
There is a mini-zoo with deer, badgers and chanterelles, a mini-farm with goats, sheep, chickens and rabbits. We really liked one white krill - it was just huge. There is also a sports ground with 10 simulators, a sauna, a shooting range where you can shoot a bow or rifle, as well as our favorite place - juniper plant.
We spent many hours on it - lying on a deck chair and breathing the healing Carpathian air with juniper, enjoying the incredible view of the mountain. We even got tanned - and it's the end of March.
There are only 10 houses where we lived, so there are never many people here, and when we rested, taking into account that it was the off-season, the resort had only a few families with whom we rarely crossed paths. Therefore, sometimes it seemed that the whole resort was just for us. The house, which has an area of .70 m2, had everything you need for relaxation - a hair dryer, electric kettle, Carpathian tea and even an umbrella, in case you did not take it with you. Next to the cottage was a terrace overlooking the forest and mountains, where we met every day to the singing of birds. Next to each house there is a barbecue for barbecue lovers.
The eco-resort offers massages, horse riding and many other activities. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food.
The resort staff is very friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant.
With all the advantages of the resort, which can be described for a long time, there is one disadvantage, but a significant one is the road. Getting to the "Farm" is quite difficult.
If you own a car - it has its nuances, which relate primarily to the quality of roads, and it is sometimes terrible. If you need to make many transfers on public transport, go first to Chernivtsi, then to Putyla, and then call a transfer to Khutor, which costs 150 hryvnias, as getting there is very problematic.
Overall, we rested just fine. I want to come back here again, but at other times of the year - in summer, when you can go for mushrooms, or in winter, when you can go skiing.
