Boarding house of the Soviet construction. We lived in a renovated building in a deluxe room. But luxury is one name. There was air conditioning. But the wardrobe was without shelves! Cleaned badly, we can say not cleaned. The food was also so-so, although we are not capricious. A lot of people in the dining room, especially in the morning.

With a guest card, you could get a sunbed and an umbrella. The staff is smiling and friendly. In the evening they organized discos, children's animation. Water aerobics in the morning. We did not regret that we chose "AYTAR". We will gladly return there again.

Rested from 10 to 22 May. I liked everything very much. And the location, and the room in building 1, and food, and especially the sincere attitude towards vacationers. Thank you so much to all the staff at the resort. Meals - like in a sanatorium, cooked in the Aitar restaurant. Nature, Sea, Air - no words at all.

Whoever complains about everything in the reviews simply does not know how to relax. In September, if possible, then only in Aitar.

Cons - I have not seen such unkempt rooms for a long time: traces of leaks on the ceiling, torn wallpaper, ancient plumbing installed at random, falling off tiles; living creatures in the face of insects (red-haired ants) are everywhere; room cleaning upon personal request; difficulties in finding personnel; terrible cries of marvelous birds (peacocks) at night and in the evenings; the beach is so-so, it is not visible that someone cleans it and takes care of its cleanliness; do not be lured by the proximity of the arboretum, currently it is the residence of the President of Abkhazia and the admission of idlers is prohibited; the hotel is located in a remote area, so you can only get to the city by minibus (fortunately, they go often and the fare is cheap).

I was pleased that there was animation for adults and children, at 11.00 they did aerobics in the sea, at 10.30 they drew with the kids on the beach under a canopy, in the evening they also entertained adults and children. The room was decent, it was on the first floor, but there was a sliding grille on the balcony and it was easy to leave the balcony open, I left the documents and tickets in the safe upon arrival, I took not expensive jewelry with me, I didn’t take them to the beach, I kept them in a suitcase, everything was in safe and sound. The food seems to be decent too, but on the 5th day it started, diarrhea, vomiting, there was a doctor at the hotel, but we were never prescribed treatment, they recommended us to go to the infectious diseases hospital, we recovered ourselves, but we were on a strict diet, and now I noticed for it’s a feature, if we don’t eat anything in the dining room, the day will pass normally, as soon as I start eating there, it starts, adults and children were taken by ambulances to hospitals, ambulances constantly drove away from the gate, otherwise everything is fine, but if only we had diarrhea , I would have thought that we ate something wrong, but when en masse, I began to think. I will not go to Abkhazia again. It was the second time, the first time we rested in the Litfond, but there, the water was from a well, and no one talked about diarrhea. There is no sewerage in Abkhazia, everything goes to the sea, the sea was warm and gentle, but teeming with infections.
