Upon checking into the room, it turned out that there was no water pressure, the duo flowed from all sides, and then the watering can simply collapsed. The rooms are cleaned badly! Breakfast is a complete disaster. The waitresses are not trained, the eggs are fried for 30 minutes. Never stay with this hotel.

We decided to go to the May holidays to see Lviv for the first time in our lives. We decided not to apply to a travel company, just to gather friends - anywhere is more fun together. Tickets were bought in a jiffy, but that's how the matter of booking a hotel touched, even though places are booked everywhere, and placing 13 people in a convenient and cozy place is another task.

Tickets were bought in a jiffy, but that's how the matter of booking a hotel touched, even though places are booked everywhere, and placing 13 people in a convenient and cozy place is another task. Fortunately, we turned to the Lviv Travel Alliance, where we were offered accommodation at the Irena Hotel.
1. Near the railway station. Ten minutes walk on foot.
2. It took a maximum of half an hour to get from the hotel to the center, of which only five to ten minutes to the tram stop.
3. The most important thing. All my friends are delighted with the hotel: friendly, cozy, neat, atmospheric interior, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower-toilet is clean, Wi-Fi is freely available, the breakfasts are delicious, the kitchenette with everything you need is at your fingertips right in the room.
4. When ordering, they specified the composition of the families, and which rooms it would be more convenient for them to offer, than they were pleasantly pleased.
5. If I am lucky to come to the city of Lviv again, I will not look for another hotel.

Hotel "Irena 2 *" was chosen based on reviews on Turpravda and did not regret it. We have been here since 12/24/13. to 28.12. 13. The room was booked in advance by email. They do not take prepayment. When booking, we asked if triple occupancy is possible. They answered that they would provide an extra bed in the room without any problems.

When booking, we asked if triple occupancy is possible. They answered that they would provide an extra bed in the room without any problems. Supplement for extra bed 100 UAH/day. The room was chosen by the junior suite studio. The price was 585 UAH/day for three. Breakfast was included in this price. The hotel is located near the railway station (you can even walk if you don't have heavy bags and know where to go : ). We took a taxi from the railway station - 30 UAH. We drove for 10 minutes (we stood at traffic lights for a long time). When we left home, we drove from the hotel to the railway station in 5 minutes.
The room (we were given #26) is relatively large. Consists of 2 rooms (living room and "bedroom"). The three of us accommodated comfortably. The floor is carpeted. The furniture is quite decent. For the third person, they put a large folding sofa for us. There is a mini-kitchen with a sink, a set of dishes and a microwave, a minibar. It is paid, there is a price list in the room. Upon arrival there were three free bottles of 0.5l mineral water. A trifle, but nice? The bathroom is quite decent. There are shower caps, disposable bags of shower gel and shampoo, hair dryer. The only problem was that the water didn't drain well in the shower. Once we changed towels and bedding. And it looks like it hasn't been removed. At least I didn't notice. But we, in principle, did not litter? . The hotel has a small lounge with a soft sofa and a computer connected to the Internet. Does the hotel have free Wi-Fi.
There was sometimes an unpleasant smell in the corridors of the hotel. From what is not clear.
The breakfast included in the room rate is good. You can choose from pancakes with meat, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs with sausage or vegetables. There's oatmeal, bacon sandwiches, a fruit plate. Choice of tea or coffee. Breakfast includes juice, yogurt, toast, jam, a piece of butter and cheese. Everything is delicious. We also had dinner at the hotel. A decent complex lunch costs 40 UAH.
The hotel itself is small, located in a residential area. Quiet, comfortable, just what you need to relax. The hotel staff is polite. How to get to the historic center of the city, where most of the sights are located, we were explained at the reception. By the way, there was a map of the historical part of Lviv in the room. First looked for sights on it? .
We went to the center by tram number 6. It has always been empty. Walk to the bus stop from the hotel for 5-7 minutes. Near the stop there is a very high church of St. Catherine. It is true that it is either being renovated, or it is simply not working now.
The fare in the tram is 1.5 UAH, in the minibus 2 UAH. The routes are always crowded. Due to the narrow streets and a large number of cars, traffic jams sometimes occur. I was surprised by the courtesy of car drivers, who in 99% of cases stopped and let pedestrians pass, even if they wanted to cross the road not at a pedestrian crossing.
The first two days they examined everything themselves. Were in the weapons museum. But then we took a walking tour: underground and medieval Lviv (cost 80 UAH per person). It was interesting. With a guide, we went into a mine (a mine where coffee is mined underground? ), Were in the "kriyivka", where they are allowed only after you say the password: "Glory to Ukraine" and in other wonderful places of this wonderful city.
I advise you to take a tour right away, and then walk and see for yourself what you liked.
The hotel and the city left only good impressions. I think that we will come back here, but in the spring or summer. There are places here that I would like to visit.

Excellent hotel. Studio for two - everything you need for tourists. Helpful staff, comfortable spacious room with everything you need. Computer-Internet in the lobby - also useful. At first they wanted to live somewhere in the center, but in the end it turned out to be the best option for visiting Lviv for the weekend.

At first they wanted to live somewhere in the center, but in the end it turned out to be the best option for visiting Lviv for the weekend. After walking around the city, we picked up things at the hotel (free storage) and went to the evening train. So the close location of the hotel to the train station was very handy. I recommend to everyone.

Once again we stay at this hotel. Convenient location in relation to the station and the city center, good service, comfortable rooms with all the necessary details. Guaranteed taxi order at rush hour. The breakfast is ok, though the menu hasn't changed from year to year. The hotel always lives up to expectations.

Maybe a little expensive (you can find a cheaper hotel), but I don’t want to experiment.

A chic hotel. The staff seems to be well-trained, accustomed to order. Polite and courteous. The setting is royal. The conditions are excellent (the only drawback is that in room 44 the water drain is clogged, the water went down very slowly, and no request was made, I think that if we said it, then it would certainly be eliminated).

Throughout the hotel, meeting the staff - you get a smile and respect. Nice. The breakfast is amazing. Everything is provided and delicious. If I'm in Lviv, I'll only go to Irena! If they don't raise prices : )

We are glad that we stayed at the Irena Hotel in Lviv. We drove to the parking lot, noticed a cozy hotel that looked like a cake. We looked in and decided to stay there. Nice room, perfect cleanliness, comfortable bed. For a standard room for two with breakfast, we paid 400 UAH. The studio has an electric kettle, microwave oven, dishes.

You can have lunch: either a complex lunch 35 UAH per person or to order. Good coffee and desserts. Cozy atmosphere conducive to relaxation. You can sit in a restaurant on the patio or outside at a table. It reminded us of the Prague holidays. Not far from the center of old Lviv. 5 minutes by car, or 7 minutes by tram or 15-20 minutes on foot. Nearby (5 minutes by car) railway station. My husband and I parked our car in the parking lot next to the hotel. You can just near the hotel (they have a video camera). Or in a fenced parking lot opposite (for an additional payment of 20 UAH). We were pleasantly surprised with the price-quality ratio. Very pleasant holidays in Lviv at the Irena hotel.

I was driving from a bus tour in Poland, I had to wait almost a day for the train home, my travel agent booked me a room in this hotel. Was very satisfied. The single room had a TV, a minimal set of dishes, a set of towels, slippers, shampoo, a very comfortable bed, clean linens. I would like to note how the hotel is generally decorated, I liked it.

In the morning I went to the winter garden for breakfast. Served a choice of several dishes + tea or coffee. Everything was very tasty, the waiters served well. The price of this whole pleasure is not high, given such a good breakfast, high level of service, etc. In 2 months I'm going on a bus tour again, before sending abroad I will stop in Irene again. I advise everyone.
